Appearance:
Spoiler:
Hagrym looks much like the sterotypical dwarf. Short, stocky, large bulbous nose, long brown beard. However, upon closer examination, he is more muscular than most dwarves. He also is never without his red hat and red (magical) cloak. It's no surprise that red is his favorite color, and he considers it lucky. He attempts to keep the monk's outfit he normally wears as clean and tidy as possible. He carries a large backpack stuffed to the gills with various adventuring equipment. Background:
Spoiler:
Hagrym was born in the community of Fort Dragge. His family were merchants who raised him in the study of Fel Morath. At an early age he decided he wanted to do more to serve the calling of his diety, than just do merchant work. He presented himself to study at the closest temple to Fel Morath, but lacked the abillity to take up the mantle as a cleric. He never got the hang of heavy armor, and therefore, becoming a paladin was out. He was quite adept grappling and hand to hand combat, so he was trained as a monk, and took to the training quickly. During his monk studies, he met a friendly sorcerer, who taught Hagrym a bit of minor magic, which was a big surprise to the monk as he knew of no one in his family with such a talent.
He has wondered much of the country, attempting to right wrongs and help the weak, with some success. After each trip, he returns home and shares his successes and defeats with his family. |
