About Haakon Járnison

Haakon Járnison is an Ulfen man from Trollheim in the Land of the Linnorm Kings. Under constant threat of attack by the witches of Irrisen, all the people of Trollheim must learn to fight and defend themselves from an early age.

Haakon and his friend Ulfric were inseparable from as soon as they were able to walk. Haakon had dreams of him and his friend becoming the most famous Ulfen champions in all of Golarion. Haakon found that his skills were best when wielding the spiked shield of his grandfather. Normally known for their defensive abilities, not many Ulfen used a shield to as their only weapon during combat.

Ulfric would always tell tales of how they would both become champions of the Ulfen people. First they would join the Ulfen Guard of Taldor to prove their worth. After learning from the other great Ulfen Guard heroes they would return to Trollheim. Finally they would set out on a great hunt to defeat a linnorm and Haakon could be King and Ulfric his great story teller.

The Pathfinder Society have very strong links with the Taldan people and their nobles. Joining them could help lead them joining the Ulfen Guard. And if that's what Ulfric said they should do, then that's what they'll do!

Haakon believes he is a hero. The kind of hero that would fight a great evil without thinking of his own safety first. His friend Ulfric may have a lot to answer for with these ideas. But Ulfric is his oldest friend and he trusts him completely, even if they keep landing in trouble all the time.

Special Abilities

Brawler's Flurry +2/+2 (Ex) Can make full attack & gain two-wep fighting, but only with unarmed strike, close, or monk wep.
Improved Shield Bash You still get your shield bonus while using Shield Bash.
Improved Unarmed Strike Unarmed strikes don't cause attacks of opportunity, and can be lethal.
Knockout (1/day, DC 15) (Ex) Declare before attack, if hit then foe is unconscious 1d6 rds (Fort neg), resave each rd.
Martial Flexibility (move action, 5/day) (Ex) As a Move action, gain a combat feat for 1 min. More gained for greater actions.
Point-Blank Shot +1 to attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons at up to 30 feet.
Precise Shot You don't get -4 to hit when shooting or throwing into melee.
