Except a +5 vorpal longsword has enough HP where hitting it with disintegrate is less useful than hitting the squishy flesh bag holding it.
Now being the college going man I am, I'm introducing Pathfinder to our campus's gaming club. Now I've run serpent skull before, but I've never run a game with a party this size before. Due to time constraints I can only run one group through the adventure, and since most are new I don't want their first experience to be kicking them out. So the problem I have is, how do I run this adventure with 8 people? Where do I make it harder, how do I change the xp treasure ect...
do you think it's reasonable if i took rapid reload, that i could completely reload two pistols as a full-round action?
Each becomes a move action, so with weapon cords, yes you could move action reload one standard action reload the other. With Paper Cartrages it's two free actions.
While I personally feel the same way, Paizo feels that they should have equal opportunity for all of those who wish to buy one of their products. To sell the PDF while the hard copies are unable to be sold would be seen as unfair to those who exclusively buy the hard copies. I personally am upset about not being able to purchase UE or PoP today, but I commend Paizo for doing the right thing and remaining fair.
If something has DR Evil the paladin can usually smite it, if he can't then he probably should not be fighting it, unless you get one of those true neutral grey area bad guys, in which case doing it for tge greater good would not be evil, but you should still make tge paladin feel guilty about it and get some role playing from them.
Well how else would you be able to weild it with a buckler?
You could just use the rules in the 3.5 Unearthed Arcana. It has AC increase with level based on what sort of armor your class could normally wear.
Having played in a few games that have done this, I say this is the best idea. However, don't forget that clerics no longer have heavy armor and as such should be moved on that list.
I'm playing in a game that requires us to create Advanced characters using the Advanced Race Guide character builder, 11-19 RP. The theme of the race is unfinished ancient cyclops necromantic ritual. Being unfinished the ritual makes a weaker, comparatively speaking, cyclops powered by negative energy. Currently I'm having trouble choosing the actual abilities to tie this whole thing together. Which is why I have come here looking for help.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
