I am hoping to have the Savage Tide stretched to about 27-28th level. I am thinking 1-3 levels per adventure, as my party started TiNH at about 3-4 level.

I would say AoW is my favourite AP, but I thought the STAP had more RP opportunities, which my group loves.

It has been fun so far, and look forward to continuing this AP.

I was thinking of converting AoW just for the hell of it, and it seems like it would work with 4e.

In the end I decided to convert the Savage Tide. We are just getting to Parrot Isle right now, and have been playing There is No Honour for 3 sessions now. Before that we did KotS, and I modified a storyline to work with ST.

It has been fairly easy to convert so far, and has been fun as hell to run!

I find in 4e that our group may get through 2-3 encounters, and maybe a skill challenge or 2 through a session. This is slightly less than I found in 3.5. The battle seem to be taking a long time, and we are all used to the rules.

Is it a fun game to play? You bet. Is it easier to DM? oh yes, which is great for a guy like me. Does it take away from the roleplaying? Not that I have seen in the slightest, although I do miss my profession sailor:(

I think it is a good system, although I cannot say anything about high level as my group is all level 4 and close to 5. I haven't actually played more than one session as a PC.

Thats just my quick 2cp

-Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk: almost all of my players love Greyhawk and have played there for years. A shame the group dispanded due to schedules and personal things

-The Sunless Citadel: this I have ran 3 times and everytime it is as fun as the last. Different outcomes everytime. I even got someone into D&D because of this module. This guy used to beat up people who play D&D and now he is one of my favourite players

-Age of Worms: despite the TPK in the second module, I love this story.

-Mad God's Key: I love this module so much!

There are others but those are my favourites. I would include the RHoD, but I have not run or played through it, although read it several times.

I am at work right now, so I do not recall off the top of my head, although I have had to move the levels of the modules up to TiNH starting at level 3, because they will be finished KotS around level 3-4.

After work if I can get online I will post them.

What are some of the things you have thought of keeping from 3.x is what I am interested in.

I'd also need to house rule 4E. A few things from 3.X I'd like to add in.

I am about to start the STAP in probably two sessions when the group reaches Sasserine. They are currently still in a modified Winterhaven and being run through a modified KotS. I have 8 PC's, so I needed to modify.

I am linking the two, and am looking forward to run the STAP, and have nearly finished converting There Is No Honor. I just have to do Rowyn and the the last bit of the Lotus Dragon Guildhall.

What are some things you would suggest and what are some things you want to bring over from 3.x?

thanks,
Bruce

Awesome, thank you Orthos, that was great. I guess now to finish prepping the conversion to 4e.

I was looking, and I found a few, and there was one poster, I forget where, that had created journals for Vanthus that the PC's can find and it shows his interest in Lavinia. Also there is the thread that deals with the whole incest thing that has been useful.

Does anyone know where those journals that the poster made can be found, or if anyone has them, can they let me know?

Thanks alot,
Bruce

As I am preparing my group for the STAP (using 4e) I was wondering how to play up the relationship between Vanthus and Lavinia a bit more. I was wondering if anyone online had a document or notes that would provide a bit more of a background for Vanthus' 'love' of Lavinia and any ideas on how to show it more in play.

Also any pointers for There is No Honor would be welcomed also:)

Thanks,
Bruce
