About Grachius Ureste

10 Minuite Background:
Appearance Grachius Ureste is a 27 year old male native to Talingarde with a strong Azlanti appearance, Gaunt face and purple eyes. He is modestly handsome with a sly grin.

Five background concepts
1. Grachius is the son of a priest of Asmodeus, Gellius Ureste Wintrish, who until recently ran a temple in Talingarde. Grachius was on a pilgramage to Cheliax when Darius took over and killed his family and destroyed his father's temple.
2. Grachius went against the will of his high priest and Mentor, Alexite Von Krupt, when he set back out to Talingarde to avenge his family.Grachius has been stripped of his family name Wintrish for his father's failings.
3. Grachius enjoyed petty thievery in his youth, and had joined a local group of deviants calling themselves the "Vicous Seven". He did it simply for the thrill, having no real need to steal as his family was well off. One day the Vicious Seven broke into his father's temple and stole a minor artifact. Grachius' father found out and made his son hunt each member down and sacrifice them on the altar of Asmodeus as pentance. One member, Arioch Moore, was never found so Grachius killed his family instead.
4. When Grachius was old enough to offically join the temple as an inquisitor, his father put his skills as a small time thief to work and had him spy on other temples. When spying on the temple of Mitra, he witnessed a ritual that showered the priestess in light and it appeared as if the priestess was smiling at him. He became infatuated with the priestess, Aliandara.He was going to kidnap her and take her to Cheliax with him when he left for his pilgramage, but his father stopped him knowing that would cause too big a rift in the community. Now that has all changed and he thinks about Aliandara constanty.
5.Gellius' estate was given to a rival family, Doranor, that were exiled from Cheliax for refusing to submit to Asmodeus. Grachius adds them to his long list of those that must be punished.

Two main Goals
1.Infiltrate the Church of Mitra and destroy it. Above all else, he blames them for his misfortunes, and Aliandara will then have to submit to him as well.
2. Even though Grachius has many personal goals, Alexite Von Krumpt was most distressed about loosing a particular artifact called "The Mace of Horns" from the Church. One that Grachius has never seen and only his father had access too. He vows to retreive that artifact to gain Asmodeus' favor.

Two Secrets about Grachius, one known to him one not
1.Grachius hid a stash of equipment and maps under an abondoned barn just outside Talingard befor he was captured.
2.Unknown to Grachius', His mother, Noravia, survived the raid on his family's estate. She fled to her family in Nidal and has her own ideas on how to seek revenge for her lost fortune.

Four People Tied to Grachius, Three Friends, One enemy.
1. Sam "three fingers" Whitiker. Sam is human male and a fence that has worked with Grachius in the old days and even though Grachius no longer commits petty theft, Sam is a useful source of information.
2. Pasara, a Taldan female. Worshiper of Calistria and lusts for Grachius. Pasara works at a tavern by the docks,The Broken Mast. Grachius uses Pasara's passions for him to gain favors.
3.Erevel M'tsallus is a Elven Male that is the Captain of The Whistling Wench that is a smuggler and slaver. He often worked for the Wintrish family and is at odds with the new order of Talingard as well.
4.Iomestria Venis is a human female paladin of Mitra that caught Grachius. She has long held a grudge against Grachius and his family and relishes in his imprisonment.

Three memories or quirks
1. Grachius is typically stoic, but always cast a sly grin to those he suspects are decieving him or females he finds attractive.
2. Grachius has nightmares on occasion that he does not remember but always causes him to awaken in a fright and sweaty.
3. Grachius' fondest memory is the day he was ordained as an Inquistor of Asmodeus and the look of pride on his father's face. He thinks of this memory often to incite the proper amount of rage to give him motivation to continue his goals.


Invisioned Role:
Grachius is use to relying on deceit and discrection to obtain his goals, when that doesnt work he resorts to stealth and cunning using direct force only when the last resort. He is a False Face, that is motivated by Vengence and Sacred Duty. He has no problem working with others to his ends and taking charge when required, but he prefers that his hand in certain affairs goes unseen.

Grachius was formally charged with sedition. He had Infiltrated the followers of Mitra in an attempt to find others that he might turn. Iomestria stumbled onto his plot purly by chance and brought him to justice.+1 bluff

Opening Volley +4 to melee attack after successful ranged attack.
Warrior Priest +1 initative, +2 concentration checks when casting defensivly or grappled.

Persistance Inquistion Grants Step Up feat, as swift action can add 10' to speed as enhancement bonus. Adds to jumping distance. Can use 3+wis per day.
