About Gird Krellion
Gird was born through one of the many orc warriors in her clan and her newly-captured slave mother. When Gird was young, aforementioned clan was destroyed by a local human village, who were tired of the constant slaughter. Gird's mother was set free, and lived out the remainder of her life in the the village. Gird was sold to the village to do as they saw fit, and due to the small size of the village she became something of a well-cared for shared farmhand.
However, as she grew older, the village seemed to realize that perhaps enslaving the strong, unsettling intelligent (for a half-orc) who knew where everyone lived and what they ate was a bad idea, so she was 'promoted' to village farmhand/village hunter. Gird showed remarkable talent with a bow and arrow, and overtime she worked less and less on the farms and more and more in the woods. The villagers had mixed opinions on her proficiency with a bow, but the wild game obtained was well worth it.
Gird has/had absolutely no desire to become a paladin. However, due to circumstances she'd rather not discuss, Gird found herself pledged to the god Erastil. She honestly doesn't care for him much, due to his focus on family and her lack thereof (The fact that she's barren just salts the wound). While she has a surprisingly sarcastic and antagonistic relationship with her god, Gird enjoys the perks of being a paladin, and is slowly warming up to her religion.
