(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"Wine it is. Let's see what they pass as wine in this land."

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"ahem...mem...um. Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3.... My common appears to be in working order. Let us move into town and look around."

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"Very well. Let us be off."

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"That should take care of some appearances; however, what about spell regents? Foci? Holy symbols? Incantations? Will these not become apparant if they are used in front of the sun stained?"

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun'mere goes to his library to select texts that deal with the surface world to bring along. He replenishes his regents and speaks to his cousins that will be joining him, "Pray tell cousin, is there anything we need to do before the journey?"

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

After the fires die down from House R'zinn, Ghaun'mere goes on a walk to see the ruins. Pausing in front of the once great house, he whispers to Faur'nezz in their secret language, "How the mighty have fallen. Do you think there is any loot worth taking? No? Very well, let us return home."
Is there anything else of import about the destruction of House R'zinn?
Know(local- Underdark North):
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

I also used the diamond dust to make two scrolls of stoneskin for myself.
If anyone wants me to craft some items for them, let me know. I have forge ring and craft wand.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun spends the time studying spells, crafting magic items, and mastering the other drow wizard's spellbook. Checks for crafting the items in order: master spellbook, craft wand of haste, craft wand of glitter dust, & Ring of sustenance - 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25

1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26

1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

sorry, been busy with graduations. I'll take the arcane scrolls, the wand of lightning bolt, and the spellbook. I'll take the diamond dust as well.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Stretching his neck, Ghuan states, "Well done my blood. Let us look to the intelligence and the spoils and be on our way."
Sounds good with the searches. Let's take a look around and be on our way. By the way, which experience track are we using?
Perception check:
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Looking for the priestess, Ghaun fires his wand.
Perception to notice square that the priestess is in. If he can't find her, then he'll fire at the duergar. 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

2d4 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

if there are no more spell casters left, then target dro2

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"Again."
wand of acid arrow on same target. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

2d4 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun levels his wand at the drow priestess, "I'm really going to enjoy this."
Stand: use wand of acid arrow at df2 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

2d4 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

sorry.
fire elemental shows up in c51 attacking df1 (that is drow female correct? if not, then dr02).
celestial dog appears at d51 and attacks dr02.
Acid spray vs. dr02
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Surprise summonging spell will be summon monster II to get a small fire elemental. First round action will be summon monster I to get a celestial dog.

Earth Elemental attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Spoiler:
I finally got a new computer. I should be back on regular schedule.
From my count, I used lightning bolt, haste, ray of enfeeblement, summon monster I, and summon monster II.
One charge of the lightning bolt wand.
used cure serious wound potion.
two current monsters are summoned in this battle.
I'll wait for the next round for my action.

Thanks for the help Rev.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"Aullimenia, aullimenia, aullimenia." With a flash of light that is swallowed by the darkness, a being of pure good joins the fight.
Celestial:

Spoiler:
"Use your detect evil to pin-point the floating orbs, then use your rays. Ignore any drow unless I tell you otherwise."

[occ]Cast Summon Monster III to summon a Lantern Archon. Archon will use detect evil to pinpoint the orbs and then fire light rays.[/ooc]

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Shrugging off the eyeray, Ghaun'mere focuses his blood given magic.
Use Dispel Magic spell like ability as area effect on all failed saves: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Will Save, if ench then +2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun smiles impishly at Mia, "You should enjoy being in Lolth's web." dismiss web before Mia brains me ;)
As far as the items go, I'd like the wand, scrolls, spellbook and diamond dust.
Charlyl's request seems fair. I'll have to give a rain check on the money till the end.
roll to see if I'm the next imposter drow:
1d10 ⇒ 6

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun hurls a glob of acid at the last duergar.
Acid Ray SLA (touch attack) 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun smiles at the stumbling duergar. "Vor'mex'neth."
Cast magic missile at the duergar; 3 missiles at 3 different duergar. 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun looks to where the duerger disappeared. Smiling, he begins to chant, "Mica'carzerth'szuess"
Stand: cast glitter dust on M/L, 12/13. DC 19 for blindness.
Ongoing acid damage:
2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

corner of N,O 19,20. That should miss any of us and still lock the wizard down while leaving the southern wall free.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Stepping into the hallway, Ghaun'mere smiles as he sees the mage. With a flick of his hand he incants his spell. "Lol'thanere"
5ft step 21I and cast web on 21N

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

I'll cast blur before we open the doors then.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"I will use Lolth's webs on those within."
Assuming shield and prot from evil are still going, I'll just prep to cast web on the occupants. Holding wand in other hand.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun sheaths his sword and draws his wand. Looking anoyed over his shoulder at his cousins he signs, "make it quick."
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun'mere draws his sword and signs to his cousins, "Interrogate or clean and move on? The spell will only last a few seconds."

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Move to AB 29 and cast on d2, 3, & 4.
Stealth:
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (7) + 24 = 31

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Signing, "I can become invisilbe and hit them with a spell that might put them down. Once it goes off, you all rush them."
Cast shield, protection from evil, then invisibility. I will move forward cautiously and cast color spray where i can hit as many of them as possible.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"What did you have in mind dwarf?"
Know(arcana) on the gauths: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
Know(nature); or +3 dugeoneering on duergar immunities & weaknesses: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

After the elemental burns the last troll, Ghaun'mere dismisses the elemental. "Well done cousins. Now I will return to me meditations."

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

"FLEAR'ZEASH!!"
A creature of flame and no passion appears on one troll burning with his essence and surges mometarily to the other downed troll.
See that the creature is doing his job, Gaun'mere states, "Sha'meash." At that, his allies begin to move outside of the normal time stream.
I was going to place the elmental there because the troll was down last round.
Assuming the burn ability would apply to the troll under him since it applies to any contact, the elemental attacks the other prone troll.
Fire damage vs. troll it is on top of:
1d4 ⇒ 1
Attack vs. other prone troll w/ +4 bonus: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Burn (1d4, DC 13)
Stand: Cast haste on allies.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Knowing what is needed, Gauth'mere begins to chant. "Flear'zeash"
Cast Summon Monster II to summon a small fire elemental into F13.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Ghaun'mere stands up with a stern determination. "Ill'lumena"
Stand up and cast Invisibility.

DM Rav:

Spoiler:
Just for clarification: (1) haste and summon monster do not count as hostile actions; (2) do you want to control the stats on any summoned creatures or should I?

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

third on the camping
"I hate coming here. It's bright, cold, and everything moves wrong. Let us be careful not to be seen. Travel would be best at night."

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

I have no problem with just three. If that is going to be the case, then could I reconfigure my character into a fighter/sorcerer? That way we have some more front liners.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

I was thinking of rations and water that would cover the trip twice over along with a bag of holding to keep it in. In the alternative, some minor magic item that could produce enough food and water for our party each day.
Also, excess gems and coin for bribes and what not.

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Bowing to the Matron, Ghaun'mere takes his leave. As he walks out, he signs to Vhorun, "Skill with an axe can't save you from a cave-in."

Moving on, Ghaun'mere retires to his study to trance and prepare him self for the next day.
Ghaun not quite the evil sort but insults to family gets his drow blood going. I'm going to change my spell selection a little and gather my gear.
Can we requisition any supplies?

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Stepping in front of Vhorun, Gauth'mere bows. "As you command Matron. Dwarf, what can you tell us of the layout and know placement of forces within the mine? Do you have a map? If not, then we will need one post haste."

With his hands behind his back, he signs to Vhorun, "Some slaves live without chains. Who would you have work the mine?"

on reflection you can have any 1st level spell in your wand (as long as it does not have an expensive component)

How about a wand of Acid Arrow with 41 charges? It would be the same value.

ready for inspection

(Male Drow Noble Conjurer 7)

Here's your resident wizard.
I'll take child 6 as sire. My mother I suppose.
