Gerain is a large, well tanned human standing 6' 1" tall and weighing around 220 lbs. He is heavily muscled with dark eyes and a wild head of hair. He tries to keep a well worn hat on his head, keeping his hair in check. He is typically dressed in a well worn explorer's outfit and hide armor. He is not particularly handsome, and the fact that is does not talk much, except describing a prior hunt, or experience he gained from that hunt, leads him to not come off particularly well. Backstory Spoiler:
At an early age, Gerain discovered the simple life of a trader was not for him. He took his first rabbit at age 7, and discovered a love for hunting thereafter. As he has aged, he has migrated to more dangerous and worthy adversaries, such as dinosaurs, large cats, and other predators. He reputation as a skilled hunter has grown over the years, and he has taken several difficult expeditions throut the plains. He has traveled a large section of the realm hunting various creatures. It was on one of these missions that he met and befriended the ape he has nicknamed Rasputin. Gerain cannot describe why he and the ape bonded almost immediately, but since that date, he has refused any request to hunt apish primates. Rasputin has turned into Gerain's best friend, as he has more intelligence than most apes, and can understand most of the commands Gerain verbally gives.
Gerain also can be hired to lead interested parties into and around the plains for whatever reason, as a guide. He has collected a decent amount of money and treasure from being hired by wealthy tourists who want to visit the jungle. Animal Companion: Spoiler:
