As part of the ongoing “Pathfinder and Starfinder Sale” on DriveThruRPG for the next 9 days (as of this writing), I am interested in picking up Dreamscarred Press Ultimate Psionics and Psionics Bestiary PDFs, and I would like to know if these PF1E products can be use in the updated PF2E rules system, without significant conversion work?

Yes, in a heartbeat I would pay $70 for a PF2 Bestiary that combines, updates, and adds lore info from the current PF1 Bestiary 1-3. As a GM, I buy 90%+ of the PF books in my groups, and I am already all in with the playtest physical materials. I would rather pay now ONCE for a massive monster book that allows me to cover all the "core" monsters I need as soon as PF2 is avaialble, then have to buy three monster books (or equivalent) at a lower cost spaced over 1-2 years of releases.
Fantasy:
Pathfinder: Moderate-high rules complexity, allows great customization/options for GMs & Players, allows you to create any fantasy campaign you can imagine Space Fantasy Starfinder: Pending game release, but looks promising for me to be able to finally run a decent Dragonstar and WH40K campaign.

Owen, the SF announcement, product launch, artwork and License are all a good start. What I WANT is to play Starfinder Dragonstar, any equipment (like spell pads), vehicles, costum starship construction rules, mecha, cyberware, nanotechnology, biotechnology, Psionics, Race creation rules (Race Points system) PC classes, skills, spells and similar stuff that is NOT in the "core SF" line and that IS found in d20 Future (and will allow me to play Dragonstar and my own campaign settings), is where I would like to spend my money on. Also, generic Science Fiction\Fantasy game components like battlefield maps (ships, space stations, alien terrains, interior and exterior locations), modular tiles, pawns\minis, and artwork, that are game system neutral, will see a LOT of purchasing from me. :)

Agreed, for the same reasons above plus I have introduced many new players and future GMs to Pathfinder because of the "everything is included" nature of the set. Small rules booklet, colorful and easly understood pre gen sheets, great flip mat, dice, pawns and advertising materials. Makes a huge positive impact on a new audience/players. That sounds great to me for a similar "everything included" Starfinder starter set; I'd pay $60 easy for it as long as it also includes a black hex star map and spaceship pawns. ;)
A reference that I have found useful for EVERY Science Fiction campaign I have ever created and run has been GURPS Space; if you don't have it, I recommend you get a copy. Click on the "Preview of the PDF" in the top left corner for an idea of the subject matter it covers; I highly recommend it. :)
Vic Wertz wrote: There is no Beginner Box planned at this time.. A box with a newbie GM small rule book and intro adventure (first few levels or equivalent), a small newbie friendly players guide, some pre-generated SF PCs, dice, pawns/tokens, a double-sided battlement, and a price that is a good deal and makes a great introduction to the system/ a good gift? Nah, I see no use for this. ;)
To the SFDT: Please keep us "Toolbox GMs" who enjoy the freedom of setting neutral "build it your self" rule systems in mind (Alternity, d20 Future, Pathinder...) when creating SF. I always support these types of "toolbox" systems heavily (rules, supplements, modules, maps, tiles, pawns, miniatures, PDFs, Hero Lab/Realmswork, faith & fairy dust...) and would like to be given the same opportunity to support Starfinder if possible. :)
Definitively not a turn off for those of us who are early backers, understand the potential and pitfalls of this early access game in development, and who agree that a small team (without the size and budget of AAA publishers) with a steady source of income is a good thing. :) Keeping the lights on and the staff paid does wonders for morale and keeping the game development ongoing.... I have been playing since Alpha 7 (last summer) and I have seen the dramatic improvements in the game ever month since EE1; well worth my $15/month contribution to the games ongoing development.
Cal B, There is no one more blind than those who refuse to see. I avoid this Troll (in the literal and figurative sense) as he clearly understands the implications of what he is asking for, but refuses to take any feedback, criticism, information or viewpoints different from his. As to the Graphics, some nice info below. Originally posted by ElirionLoth:
No, I don't. Frankly, we can't afford to move the needle enough on graphics and animations to make the people who have issues with them now give us a passing grade. It's not just a matter of a few weeks of work. A major overhaul to get the graphics anywhere close to "AAA" (which is what they're comparing us to) is a $10 million, 20-30 person commitment. It just does not make sense to pursue that goal. A lot of people who see it "live" in high quality (as opposed to the low quality a lot of streamers use) are really surprised by how good the game looks when you play it. Industry folks who have taken a look are also pretty impressed. Over time, we'll iterate on the graphics like we do on everything else, and we have been doing so all along. Folks who remember what the game looked like when we started the Alpha test will tell you that we've already made huge improvements. Some of what people critique isn't graphics or animation. It's system-level functions like causing the characters to turn and face their targets when they attack (which also requires camera moves, etc.) We don't have kinematics in the game so hits don't cause visible reactions on targets yet. And the visual effects ("VFX") are very basic. Those are things we are going to be spending time on in the near future (actually, we spent a lot of time on some of the kinematics in the work for Early Enrollment v6, but they're not ready to deploy yet). Those kinds of improvements have a big impact on how people perceive the game's "graphic quality". Same deal with things like making the grass look better, and reducing the tiling effects on steep slopes. Little things, but big impacts. It all just takes time, and we have to allocate that time wisely and balance it against all the other things that people want, like more weapons (requires graphics & animations), more monsters (ditto), more roles (ditto), more structures (ditto), etc.

Dazyk's PFO Quick Reference/Skills Dazyk, I use this resource a lot; could you add an additional column after "F" on the "Skill" tab for "additional ability increases"; things like HP, Defense Bonuses, BAB and other things that raise ability scores? This information is referenced in other places; it just would be nice to have it on this page for ease of reference and printing. :)
Gol Tink wrote: I would really love to hear from a developer whether or not this behavior is intentional, and if it is, what their reasoning behind it is. Wrong place to ask Gol Tink; the devs have all but abandoned this forum months ago. You are better off asking on the GW forums where you might get a developer response. :)
Lee Hammock email: (lee@goblinworks.com) To all surveyors currently mapping (or re-mapping) the location, type, distribution and/or presence of Tier 1 and Tier 2 resources on the EE map as of EE5.0: During the Alpha period, Lee Hammock (PFO Lead Game Designer) asked us on the Goblinworks forums to let him know about the resources we were finding in the different areas of the map. I can confirm that he is still accepting information from players as to what resources they are finding (especially if noted by regional geographic area as per Harad's PFO Map) as this kind of feedback is very important to him. Independent and Settlement sponsored resource mapping surveys can be sent to him by email (lee@goblinworks.com) on a volunteer basis if you, your company and/or your settlement would like to assist him in letting him know what resources are actually being found in game. A sample format included below; a more complex format (by node types) is also a possibility.
Hex: Region (See Harad's Map) or Hex (X.X)
No you should not abandoned your neutral stance, especially this early in the game. The WOT is a temporary thing, and your goals for the EL are long term and still achievable. The info on the towers is still on the TEST server and subject to change and updates; please keep that in mind at all times. No need to get all worked up. EE 4 WOT might make your position difficult, not impossible. You might lose a rank of training, and get it back latter as more adjustments are made. Or you might take the time to work on raising more skills to the rank you CAN train, and bank XP for those you can't until conditions are more favorable. Offering rank 10 training is a nice goal, but not for a pre-selected template settlement; when you can build the EL from scratch it will be more realistic. There is a LOT you can do in the meantime until EE5.
@DeciusBrutus, The drama is unnecessary and distracting, caused by bad blood/history between some groups, rabble rousers and agent provocateurs, people who have popcorn and like to be entertained, misunderstandings and assumptions, and delibert lies and slanders. In other words, just another Forum PVP day. :)

I personally have to refrain from sayin "RTFM" all the time. It's like many people refuse to read the information available on the KS , Goblinworks and gaming sites as to what the game is about and where it is headed. No, why do that when you can compare it to theme park games and how "others" are doing things? What part of "we are in Earl Access currently 2/5 years into our development plan" is so hard to grasp? And of course, self proclaimed trolls making everyone's life miserable because they have nothing better to do and nothing constructive to add...
Forgeholm had an uneventful time capturing towers (more time was spent figuring out capture mechanics and submitting bug reports). We welcome all individuals and companies looking for a strong and friendly place to stay, and we respected BFKs core towers as per the NAP. We look forward to an active and prospers relation with our western neighbor.

@Hobs, Sorry to see you go. :( @Thod, Thanks for offering the EL as a place for a guide program to set up shop, it makes a lot of sense. @Deianira, T7V offers their TS info at every possible mention/at the drop of a hat for almost all community and new player discussions. I REALY should write it down somewhere. (Grin) I would love to be an active participant in a guides program, but at this time RL commitments does not allow me the time; but I would like to "stay in the loop" as I am interested in the program.
@Thod, Currently the Emerald Lodge is a Wizard/Figther template; is this the direction you want to continue to develop your settlement during EE or do you have intentions of changing your focus once you can design the settlement to your liking? Taking a look at the Political Map where the EL sits in the nexus of the (Red) Northern Coalition, (White) Independent Settlements, (Cyan) Aeonian League, and (Blue) Everbloom Alliance; combined with the Terrain Map showing you with immediate access to 4 forest and 2 plains hexes, your public stance on neutrality, and the Emerald Spire Superdungeon (in the future) puts you in a great position to both serve as a clearing house for trade between power blocs, a great place for training adventurers, a place for supply and repairs, and a great place to host a Pathfinder Lodge, and inn and a Guides Program HQ. I would also strongly suggests setting up a Comstar like Mercenary Review Board as a natural place for Mercenary Companies to register, train, equip, set up contracts, have a place to stay, and of course, protect the settlement from outside aggression. Their are few places on the map as of now that offer this kind of potential. Just some thoughts while looking at all the maps again. :) Lots of potential
Bookmarked for inclusion in the soon to be updated EE FAQ thread; and for new people to add new insight to the topic on hand. :) I really, really, passionately hate targeting nodes while engaged in combat. I probably would feel the same on the subject of not being able to target and heal "red" party members if I where playing a cleric... :)
