Only goblins would be aware of enemies coming into the cave, and then not notice the light and disregard the noise one hears. Wow, they would be pitiable if they weren't so nasty.

Am I the only one who's quite happy in caves?
heads into the cave staying within Leshara's light

in case it's needed
::Initiative d20+2=8::

Sounds like a plan. Anyone else got a better idea?

Shekola, do you feel comfortable sticking to the darkness and firing into the torchlight?

speaking quietly Well we can try and sneak in, I'll be the first to admit I'm not that sneaky, or we can rush in weapons drawn and hope to god that they aren't well organized and trapped. This is goblins after all, not kobolds, I'd be a lot more worried if they were kobolds. Anywho, anyone here good at range? I'll lead with a torch and you can hang back and pick off goblins at a distance, it'll also give us someone to get us out of a pit trap. Just make sure you always keep in sight of the torch.

follows girl

Well if I'm not wrong the same can be said about that kind of thing too right, I mean I'm no mage but I can't imagine it's been around this long without someone figuring out a way to mask their nature.

the group will just settle down and wait for the girls return if there are no objections we can skip to there unless an encounter happens. In the meantime the group will spend this time getting to know each other better

You know for tall folk you folks take advice well.

Are there no spells that can conceal such things? Look I'm not saying I think she "is" a devil, but I doubt she is what she seems. In the end that doesn't change my plans, does it?

Lashara wrote:

I don't think she's what she claims to be, but if she'll lead us the boy I saw we leave it be for now. She can be a devil for all I care. Besides if they live on this island with the goblins she must be able to avoid them somehow. I say we wait. If nothing else just stand ready in case its a trick and she's bringing an assault to our door.

Whispering allright everyone start walking your normal pace and lets see what happens.

Gavrin continues to walk as the party begins to leave him behind and even calls out as discussed, after they yell back their lines he begins to grumble about how he should never have come here with the big folk to keep up appearances while at the same time keeping ready for an attack (although he has no weapons drawn)

::bluff 1d20+0 14::

whispering would you like for me to fall a little behind, a small unarmed gnome usually makes a good target to draw someone out of hiding? I can handle myself if I'm ready for them, and if they don't attack me at least we'll know they aren't just waiting for us to let our guard down.

It seems the goblins were not acting of their own accord.
continues to follow the tracks I find it strange that they didn't bother to conceal their tracks, I believe we may be walking into a trap of some kind.

Well if the trees are real, then we have something more important to deal with, who can track these footprints, I've never spent time in the wilderness myself unless it was a cave. lead the way bigfolk. If my skills will be of service I'll step to the fore again but for now, it's your show.

Well if there's nothing to do but go across gavrin dismounts in the middle of his speach lets go across shall we, lousy goblins aren't going to wait too long before they put the child in a stew pot.

attempting to lead the bigfolk to quiker action by example gavrin sets off across the bridge on foot

Excuse me I just want to examine your husband
Gavrin heads downstairs to examine the husbands body to see what killed him if it wasn't the snake

::Heal 1d20+7=16::

A pony would be fine mam I'm no cavalier. and also maybe some rations for the journey, just some bread, meat, and cheese would be fine. We don't know how long we'll be gone.

Seeing the one tallfolk deliberately going over every inch of furniture Gavrin attempts to help by moving things out of his way and assisting in any way he can

::Aid Another Perception d20+2= 7::

After realizing that his attempts to assist seem to be hampering more than helping Gavrin moves back into a corner to quietly watch, he does however stop to talk to the owner

Goblins tend to be cave and tunnel dwellers, the party might need a competent spelunker, I'm more than ready to offer my assistance if you can also provide a pony, I'm afraid I'm not very good with horses.

marveling at how quickly attention slipped right back off of himself Gavrin begins looking around the room, continuing to listen to the bigfolk talk but also looking for any clues but being very casual about it to avoid notice.

::Perception d20+2 = 3::

Aparently too casual lol, I don't even think I see the window

sidles back into a corner without saying anything and just listens as the bigfolk ask all the questions, doing his best to go unnoticed

hey just posting so I can find it when I join, My character will hear the sound of the fight having arrived in town and was coming to the inn, I'll join then.
