Male Human Ranger 3
There is a high likelihood I will not be able to attend friday night due to work (out of state & after hours hardware upgrades). We've delayed a couple times already so please either run this without me or have someone run Gates in my stead. I'd hate for everyone to miss a game on my account.

Gates is a "G" with a yellow background, no need for anyone to shoot at him in all the confusion of G's. I'll assume Gates was somewhere near Nathaniel, since that's who he knows Looking over, Gates sees the event too late to save the dog. His anger rises, he draws his bow and fires. Initiative 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Shot one, targeting the goblin who killed the dog
Shot two, same goblin, or the one to his right if the first is dead
These are rapid shot only, no deadly aim and no point blank shot (range). Finally Gates scans the field for anymore goblins he hasn't noticed yet Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

I guess Gates wishlist looks like this: Rod of extend spell
Bow enchants, besides more bonuses,

I dont actually have a character creator that will pump out a report like that, and I am afraid I don't have enough information about what you want to give you something useful for a character. I'm sure any of theirs will be good enough. If you're interested in what *I* would want... 1) Brew Potion, Skill focus: Spellcraft (With human skill focus APG)
I mean, if I'm going to create a non participating NPC... that's pretty much it. Possibly a wizard instead for the crafting focus/knowledge skills.

Gates rises from his work and begins cleaning his hands Well that explains a lot. If this woman is so hated, why is she allowed to call in Pathfinders with impunity? Should we not report this suspicion and halt the flow? Whatever she has planned obviously calls for more of us, and I'd hate to give her anything she wants. With newly cleaned hands Gates reaches into his belt pouch and retrieves a bag, from which he produces chewing tobacco. He offers some to Hymo and then takes some for himself. So what's with Sir Wolfram? You saved the world together for a living and kept up tension for all that time?

Gates helps clean and tie the Stag. When the work is finished he hefts his end, ready to head back. I'm Gates. How long have you been here at the Academy? I came to the area under orders to help Sandpoint out of its little mess and now I find myself wondering if I've done that or not. Do you know of the Lady who sent us to retrieve the candle? I did not like the reaction of her or her counterpart when we returned successful. It seemed to me they were clearly expecting failure, or a worse outcome of a sort. It is troubling.

Gates pushes his body forward from his kneeling stance, forcing his bow arm ahead of him and drawing his bow in the process. He focuses his aim, the sounds of the forest slow down around him, his vision narrows, his own heartbeat throbs in his ears. The stags head lifts and turns its head off to the right. In the instant before time would have seemed to halt, his arrow lets slip of his grip and his senses snap back into life. He rises nearly to standing as he springs forth, already pulling another arrow from his quiver. Before the stag can register the events around it his second arrow is already away. not sure if this is a surprise round or a full round. I'll roll a rapid shot/deadly aim/point blank shot. You can remove the second shot and the point blank if my round/range is off 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 221d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 71d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Answers: *You are being offered a large sum of gold by an extremely rich noble to go and retrieve an artifact from a secure location. The location is a museum and the noble claims the artifact actually belongs to his family and he feels it belongs in his home not the museum. What is your response?
"You own it? Well that's horrible they're keeping it from you. I'll look into it and see what I can do!" I would then proceed to check out the back story of the item through third parties if possible, then talk to the curator about the origins of the item and how it came to him. *Do you think looting crypts, ruins, and dungeons is stealing or more like Indiana Jones? Why? Possession requires a possessor, those items no longer have an owner. All things must die eventually, and when they do we can't sanction everything they ever touched as sacred. *A group of 3 Orcs have raided and captured a group of travelers. One of the hostages is rumored to be one of the King of Absalom children. How would you go about rescuing the hostages and making sure the King's child is not harmed. Attack in the daytime when the orcs are least active. There's not much use negotiating with them as their intent is pretty clear, but if an opportunity to negotiate arises which will not jeapordize my element of surprise I am fine with it. |
