To find out where your avatar is from, right-click the image to open it in a new window. The url for your image is called "PZO9039-Chivane.jpg". Search for "PZO9039", brings up City of Seven Spears. (This trick will really only work on the most recent batch of avatars.)
Some threads are still wonky around the end of one page and the beginning of the next. One solution involves taking down the messageboards for about twelve hours. The other solution I haven't come up with yet.
That's been on the todo list for awhile.
And since there is in fact a thread, I think we're done here.
If I recall it turns out that if you show every parent forum on the main messageboards page like you're requesting, the page gets really, really unwieldy. (We have a lot of forums.) And dealing with that was one of the main reasons for the redesign of the main messageboards page a few weeks back. I'll try to take another look and see if anything jumps out at me this time around to mitigate that.
I'm pretty sure you're kidding, and I'm also pretty sure we don't have time for such shenanigans. Feel free to raise these important issues in a more appropriate forum.
Chris Self wrote: That's a pet peeve of mine. Why do people feel like they need to tell work why they're not going to be in? I just say, "I'm not gonna be in today/tomorrow/this day in a month." No need to tell them why. None of their business. Because we're secretly judging your reason to see if you're a terrible person. And if you don't give us a reason, we make one up. Last time you weren't here it was because you got your head stuck inside an elephant. ("Boy it sure is dark in here!" were I think your exact words.)
Who knows what Santa may bring? Possibly before Christmas, even.
We had to add that for our own sanity because the new URL format no longer includes a hint as to which forum a thread is in.

Also, customer service keeps coming up with "critical" features they "need" to "make our customers happy." I think they're being whiny but for some reason their requests come first.
Naw. A handful of people can see what I just did. Everybody else? I hope not.
Sekrit *click*!!
Huh. Wonder how long it's been like that. Should be fixed now.
I wonder if I should try to [redact] this thread now...
If you're having this problem please also tell us the version of Windows, MacOS X or whatever operating system you're using. We have a theory about what might be happening.
I am posting something stupid!
Joana wrote: Gary Teter wrote: I think I've also fixed the problem where the quick reply box doesn't show up if a thread has an exact multiple of 50 posts. Sorry, Gary; no quick-reply on this thread. OK, this time it probably really is fixed.
ProfPotts wrote: Even though the default posting name works for me now, I'm getting the horrible red text telling me that I've made '0' posts as my account name (which I don't, and never have, posted as) and have the option to change it, etc... at the top of every quick reply box. It's telling me if I do not wich to change my avatar name then I can ignore the message... but it's darned hard to ignore when it's there in bright red letters every time! ;)
I'm also getting the thing (which I think is the same as mentioned by another poster above) where, as soon as I click inside the quick reply text box, the box extends and the actual buttons to post anything vanish. Clicking around randomly off the text box for a while eventually shifts stuff around and brings them back, but it's not nice.
These two bugs should be fixed later today.
Turns out we have a bunch of specialized code for handling the alias menu in campaign threads that I'd forgotten I wrote, so forgot to test. I think that code should be working again for the quick reply box.
I think I've also fixed the problem where the quick reply box doesn't show up if a thread has an exact multiple of 50 posts.
Removed a post. Links presented as Goblinworks URLs and are not, are inappropriate, even in the name of a joke.
Which alias was this, Maddigan?
OK, I've figured out what was causing the PDF availability date to not display properly. Should be fixed now.
We've poked that PDF date a couple times today. It's just a display error that we're trying to figure out.
I am testing something!
Ooooh, you're right. I'll fix that tomorrow.
I just can't help it, you know that.
That's what she said!
Seriously, do not taunt the box. It will cut you.
I am testing something slightly less stupid!

The quick reply is http for now. Previewing or replying to an existing post is https.
The default alias thing should be fixed.
Ah OK, I thought you were referring to the speed of processing the submitted post, not the browser's speed at rendering your keystrokes. That is weird, we aren't doing anything fancy on the browser side during typing at all.
DEWN MOU'TAIN, we got your screenshot and are looking into it. Thanks for sending it.
Oh, and if you want the old "add new post" behavior, just click the preview button without typing anything in the box.
It's the exact same code as before. Any slowness is illusory.
Drejk wrote: I mentioned it in another thread but for clarity and ease of searching I will repeat it here: quick reply fails to set Post As to default alias. The reply option sets Posts As correctly. That'll be fixed later today probably.
It is a bit smaller. The old size is there if you click reply or preview your post.
We don't have any way for you to switch profiles like that.
Sebastian wrote: Oooh! Cybernetic upgrades? I can be rebuilt, better, faster, and stronger than before! You misspelled "stranger".
face + plam
Not sure what you mean by "help area is hiding out"—can you email a screenshot to webmaster@paizo.com?
This should be fixed now. If it's still happening to you, try restarting your browser.
I may regret this new pony when it's blitzing time....
Hehehe...
Ah, interesting. If it's multiple simultaneous sessions then that gives me a clue.
I am testing a pony!
Doh. I noticed this yesterday while reconfiguring the webservers and assumed it was a side effect of what I'd been doing. I'll get it fixed as soon as I can.
