Appearance Garridan is a human man six feet in height with shoulders as broad as an axe handle, 23 years of age. While his frame is suited for a lumbering brute, he moves with surprising grace. With dark hair and eyes, he blends in easily with the rest of the Korvosan populace even though he's half-Varisian. Somewhat self conscious given where he lives with his family, he deliberately dresses to blend in as Chelish. His features are handsome, if unremarkable and he keeps his facial hair trimmed neatly into a light beard.

Personality "No-nonsense" might be a good term to describe Garridan's personality. He's not a man known for his ability with small talk or winning charm and while he possesses a certain dry wit, he mostly keeps it to himself. "Driven" might also be a good word- now that he's become a guardsman, he's focused entirely on rising in the ranks (and the payroll) to put enough money away to move the family back into the city's walls. And maybe get his sisters and brother into a proper school.
