About Garlon Maharis

physical description:
24 years old 6’ tall; 155 lb; tall, lithe, well tanned human with light brown hair, blue eyes, and a bird like birthmark on his left shoulder

personality:
Quiet, stubborn, and proud in the face of unrelenting torment; a touch bitter at those who are comfortable enough to never feel what he has; uncomfortable with large crowds, family members, and strangers, but capable of being friendly; slow to make new friends

background:
An illegitimate child who was the result of a rich nobleman and his wife's maid, Garlon had never been welcome in his father's household, being just barely tolerated, and sought solace in nature from an early age. When he came of age, after declaring his intentions to seek his way in the wider world, and being greeted with the resulting deafening silence, he headed out, taking only a few belongings he could carry, and Peregrin, his companion and friend. He has learned to use his healing skills to make his way, although he rarely stays in the same place for long.
