You are in the land of Mountain Buckle. Newly found land yields uncharted areas, resources, and peoples. After the territories winning their statehood from Kador, the Republic of Tritan has established itself and thrived into the world, but yet to the west, much of Mountain Buckle is savage and uncharted. It is your job from the Republic of Tritan, to search and record such findings. With promise of fortune, fame, and adventure, the republic has sent numerous varied and excited peoples to explore, chart, and tame the west of Mt. Buckle.

Dear prospective adventurers,

You all appear to be qualified candidates. I would like for you to gather at the base of Moonwell Pass, in ye town of Moonville, at the Moonville Fort Exchange. Further details will be provided upon arrival.

Thank ye,
Trail Master Mol Tommison

---Fast forwards to time of meeting.---

You are at Moonville. Today is a slow day. Minimal personnel are running the mills and lumber yard. Taverns are full and the Exchange sits along the main strip.
The inside feels much like an inn and tavern, however walls of supplies are full and around and business seems to be conducting. A table with four chairs sits in the middle, with four mugs and a man.

This campaign is retconned..

(This will be taking 500 years before the Da Vinci Code within the Same Universe. You all will be meeting Moon Well Pass with Mol Tommison.)

(We will be Retconning and Restarting this Campaign after this post.)

(We will be Retconning and Restarting this Campaign after this post.)

Dwayne awaits at his estate. For the morning soon thereof will be dawning, and an adventure awaits.

Lemme know when you two will be ready to proceed. Feel free to plan and discuss now if need be.

The crew set out and leave town. A few hours pass by, taking us into the noon portion of the day. The Sun topplesdirectly above, yet the air remains cool and crisp changing from Feb-March times.

The terrain remains familiar still, some changes in color of plant vegeatation can be seen, as well as colour and fur of different members of the animal kingdome.

"Aye, glad ta be of service."

O Malley nods his head.

Roland takes the helm. The new crew, seemingly well adjusted, are all saddled up and head on out.

Just before leaving the fort, its Governor Yosemite stops us.

"Here are open deeds." If you find some land that you like, feel free to mark it during Mission Westward Expansion. If you make it back and head out again, your plot will be officially recognized as privatized land."

The Gov hands each of you an open deed at the exit of town.
Faint music and ballads can be heard as Father Tay Astley opens his ministry doors, and Little K and KK, artist and cat help its choir and music.
The Gate lies open, and Roland takes the helm.

If you would like to discuss any plans on travel, how far we should travel and through what terrains, we may discusss in the discussion board if you wish.

The female companion looks across her new fellows, and seamlessly hops into the wagon.

Roland turns his head to the wagon. Hearing a soft clank proceeded by a much louder Clank!, Roland cocks a brow and turns back.

Pocahontas turns to Roland, before shifting over to Mol, only to then like Jane and Roland turn away uninterested.

Roland nods to his companions and takes his steed upfront, saddling it to the front and center wagon, before 'placing' his bag carefully parallel to Inks within reach of upfront.

Mol appears to stumble away after leaving us the goods and blessing.

We may roleplay here just a bit, before we take off on the road, where we may continue to gain insights on eachother, and face what the world throws at us. We also may go over how we can travel, who will drive the wagon, who will track, who will keep track of items, and any other matter.

Mol hands the Reciept and Contracts to Roland whom takes them in hand.

The woman darts a mean look at the quick strodding man (Jane).

"Name's Pocahantes."

She looks upon the short but stout man.

"Please.. Never say Beadry McHunkaHunka again. Or may the spirits haunt you for eternity.

...

Her natural demeanor returns.

"And its nice to meet you." She says abrubtly and almost awkwardly, before returning a smile to the short man. She said the spirit thing as a joke btw :)

"You?" She raises her arm outward pointing to Roland.

Mol Speaks, "Well thank you all for gathering here. You have answered the call and may godspeed be with you all. If you have any questions or inquiries, please ask now. Im sure you will meet new people, see sights, and maybe claim some land for yourself! This is a new frontier, and the peolpe of Trident are counting on you to expand and rise! Of course these folks may be indigenous, envirnoment harsh, or others wagoneers try and kill you but thats besides the point! I shall bid you a quick prayer.

'Hey man, guys, gals, or whatevers goin on up there, if things could go well for these guys that'd be great. Maybe some new digs for me to? Anways, thats pretty much it.'

Mol shrugs and looks to walk away.

The Bagelry smells of familiar spice; Gerudan herbs, Romain Crust, Ryhule Cheese, and Antarticia Snow Berries. The sign reads this special today, 2 cp per Bagllete.

O' Malley turns to the both of you and cocks a brow. He smiles.

"Ahh my good sirs.. What do I owe the pleasure? Murderous? Cadaver? Crypt? When did I have you do any such thing thing!? ... Oh wait.. Yes I did! Moving on..
These items, treasures, you both now hold.. Lemme see.. Ooh lemme see!"

Malley turns his head to the side. Turns the trinkets over, sighs, coughs, and ahhs can be heard.

In a more serious manner.

"All right from the top:
To recap, the Tome, or Parchment, details and describes historical or biblical events, End of Days and the like.

This glove here, now I'm in better light and early day, perhaps a more detailed approach. Hmm.. Yes.. For you? This will suit nicely. Expert Craftsmanship. The glove, or its name is Vain's Catalyst, perfectly hides a blade that retracts and extracts as a free action. It can hold four separate vials, which can contain anything from spell components, potions, poisons, powders, goop, soup, soda.. Sorry. The blades extraction system also works in hand with the vials to serve as a catalyst or ignition. This baby can light fuses.. Bombs!

Will include meta game on how to use as well.Father Man! That head thing! Or more technical the Lord's Crown, the remarkable antique piece, yet also stylish. A small holy symbol protrudes the centerpiece. It seems it can be activated (swift action) to shine a bright light (cone) or intensify the holy signal (swift action). Its shape and design also help the bearer quite possibly deflect blows(Deflect AC1) and adds to the bearers charisma (+1 on charisma based checks).

Very nice find."

O Malley rests his elbows back on the counter.

All crafting and purchases are fine
Father and Professor arrive at familiar Ye Old Bagelry. The same types of patrons still crowd the joint. Some new scuffs and cracks but none for the worse.
Ol Malley can be seen at the counter finishing a brew.

Or like a wagon?

Haha, nice. You have the oregon trail one my friends.

The site at the wagon and Mol becomes clear. A beautifully crafted wood piece, that even a Dwarf would be proud of. Wood perfectly aligned, carved, and polished.

Craft Wood/Furniture/Misc 10 or 15 any other:

The polish on this piece is magnificent. This may even be durable even in the closest flame. The tarp appears fastened and taunt, meant to endure the toughest storms. Its materials composed make the wagon light and easily maneuverable, with proper maintenance and handling, commandeered into a raft.

Mol is also wearing a nicer getup, and vest..
The real site here stands the brave, tamed, creature, the female companion. Her pure black charcoal hair glistens refracting the suns rays. The strands blow in unison to where we must go, west. Her patterned crafted robe sits beautifully on the well endowed Mountain.. I mean bre.. chest.
Her gear is also setup much like a warring mans'. Equipment aligned, ready to fight, properly fastened, and balanced in place. Her face conveys no fear, wisdom, beauty, and strength. She appears to utter, but all you hear..
"How."
She waves her hand to you.

I made a few tweaks, thank you both! I took Adam's drawing and decided with the fair Indian skin(Pocahontas), with a crossover look to a Samus (Metroid) type Physique.

Our Female Companion will be a level one bard. Adam and Derrick, come up with some builds together and send me your final draft ad I will create her for use. Utilize 15 point buy and bard meduim wealth please.

I am allowing input mor so in this campiagn as this campaign may switch hands back and forth I dream, as this will start out as a more episodic campaign.

I will then formally introduce her and begin this wagon train!

Mr. Desmond parts ways with you two. He takes leave and Dorothy exits the room, leaving the two of you to brood alone.

When I shoot you guys the email update and both are ready to continue we will really get this train movin!

Prof. Skyraper wrote:

So are we to roleplay going and buying supplies? Like walking around town and talking to one another? Or are we just skipping to the next morning and say ooc that we had bought [x] and sold [y]?

either way I'm good to progress!

Go ahead and do the latter. We can cut to the chase and progress with the story!

"Well of course Beau.. I would never indenture fellow man. You two shall be free.. agents."

Desmond's slight grin turns flat slowly at your remarks, and still when gestured at Dorothy.

Dorothy gears towards the 'eloquent' stranger, strangely appearing to exhale,"Or half-full.. Mr. Beau." Her tone monistic, but feminine enough too. She appears to mimic a lazily wave towards the professor.

She then leans to Father. "Mr.. Father. Allow me to top the brim once more." Bowing to the smoothly shaven man as she speaks, in a more optimistic tone. She then takes leave, carrying cups on tray and away.

Desmond exhales,"Quite a doll that one." Slowly blinking his eyes gesturing hands up.

Roland follows closely behind. With tankard and joe in hand, he nods to Notch.
"Well, if all and all is in order, lets grab J, and head to the brief by Mol and get this train wreck started shall we?"
Roland takes a sip.

The two of you notice something as you are drawn closer to the abode. The geared vault starts to spin. Nut, screws, and bolts all go: CLINK, CLANK, COIK, CLOOK!
Before a second breath can be took, Mr. Desmond stands before you.

The two of you, after some brief discussion and deliberation, decide to court over to Desmond's estate. It is a distance fom the inn. The estate sits alone from other buildings, but sits besides a beatiful grown pine forest. A small inlet lies behind the wonderous estate, and leads to a beautiful crystal blue lake. A small breeze can be felt and seen along the blades of grass. Magnificant machines surround the area. Pumps, gears, clockworks, tubes, and sorts fill up the property.

Perception 10:

Steam cars, ships, and balloons are the most recognizable objects seen.

Knowledge Mechanic 15:

Large guardian statues lay scattered amongst the field. Each wielding a variety of weaponry; sword and shield, lance, turret, and cannon. Small spy bots fly around in the airspace. And humanoid type machines can be seen wandering about.

The front of the estate lies a a large vibrant geared and clockwork vault.

Ill skip us ahead to the day of.
The rays creep into town. Finally, the day has come. Today is the new beginning the land. What you are about to embark is a journey which will span across uncharted lands.
Roland is on the western edge of town, awaiting your coming. The logged wooden town lays still, and the dews slowly pours amongst the leafs and blades. Mol Tomisson can be seen wandering over with another cloaked figure and your materials.

The wind is cold. The air is crisp. The smell of the sea is in the air. The Dew Crew set off on their journey to the great city of Seattle. Many festivities will be taking place on the eve of the New Year. Drinking, games, fireworks, and much more await. The ferry has just taken off and the crew have about an hour until they arrive at their destination. The time now is 12:00 PM.

The campaign will be taking place in Washington, very close but different universe. We can use our current standings, age, occupation, as well as any skills we have or are training in. For example, Im in the field of Law Enforcement or politics, Adam is waiting too get in the medical field with some boat knowledge, and Derrick as an artist or local celebrity. So those skills are free game. We will all be together whatever we are doing for simplicity sake. With advice I have recieved, I want to run maybe a zombie campaign with us getting our super hero powers.

http://www.d20modernpf.com/introduction

Here is an optional use for our characters. Start off as a modern hero fitting to you. Adam could be a physician, me investigator or soldier, derrick inthink the base modern hero or engineer, possible celebrity could work. Whether it be the base hero or not. Then we will branch and grow from there. I will have my character posted soon enough for example. All the items classes and feats are interchangeable with normal pathfider.
Dollar to conversion rate is 1 us dollar is one sp and 1 gp is 10 dollars and so forth.

It's alright. I'll make sure I give more details too.

Hey I appreciate both of your descriptive posts. Will be sure to ensure a detailed world. Please though, no additional inputs into the world other than your perspective of it. Thank you.

10 Perception:

Upon closer inspection, the rabbits decorating the tavern and bar are much more than the jolly ol dwarf describes. These rabbits are to be rabbid. Rabbid Rabbits of Moonwell Pass, a most vicious creature if encountered and provoked. This appears to make much more sense being in an adult establishment."

That's fine. Just use the online stuff. That's all I require.

Alright. I'll look at a few sources like d20 modern and see what I like. Why is cyber punk?

Alright. So how do we want to approach this campaign. I like playing us that was my whole point. Should we try modern, apocalyptic, western, steampunk, or classic d n d, or pathfinder with my tweaks?

I have my npc who may play a pivotal role in this campaign complete. He is quiete affluent and resourceful.

I'll be giving you guys another party member for us to control. Will be a level one adept.

"Ahh yes... Well a few things. We have already sent out small caravans ahead and some outposts are up. But that will not be enough. Personnel, coin, trade, and resource will all be necessities. Here is a list of everything sponsored for your trip."

"I also forgot to mention one thing, you shall be having another campaign in your midst. And please show courtsmenship when you meet her. The main event will kik off in two days! Report back here then!"

The man introduces himself as Mol Tommison. He seems to be quite surprised by the deammeanor of the sturdy stout man, and indifferent by the other two.
"Why thank you all for coming. I'm quite impressed with the skill set here. What I need however is the promise of companionship and the willingness to travel together. To see the new world. Meet the peoples and creatures of the west. Make us all proud. So what do you say!? Are you in?!"

If you are proficient with ranged fire arms, you are also considered trained and proficient with them melee. One hand arms deal 1d6 and 2 handed deals 1d10.

Cool, I'll be gathering and bunching us up here soon.

Hey he'll do fine, just post this in the gamely section as well get a move on:)

Perception 10:

You find a small cog on the ground.

No but I shall dictate this world now.
