As the doors swing open, a sudden whoosh fills the air as an arrow is released from a drawn bowstring. The projectile flies from behind the altar, through the temple, and grazes Grymwold's beard as it misses its mark.

"Hmph. I'll finish you quickly, and get back to destroying these sick superstitions." The attacking hobgoblin indicates the damaged statues and ripped banners. Another hobgoblin stands just next to one of the statues.

I'm a long time friend of Chyrone (Lizzie), and I just returned to the boards. I once lead a 4-5 year campaign for him and a group of other players, and also ran Hell's Rebels through to Book 3 before life finally hit me and I had to step away. Life got busy, I had a baby, etc etc.

That was 4 years ago. I've just returned a few weeks ago, and I DMed Chyrone about picking this up, and I'd be happy to, but there's one caveat. I do not think I can commit to an entire AP. I can commit to the first book for sure, but beyond that, you might have to find another GM.

If that's too disruptive, and you'd rather wait until a GM steps in who is sure they can fully handle the whole AP, by all means, just chalk this up to me saying hi and go ahead with that GM. If you'd like me to pick us up from now until the end of Book 1, I can do that for you.

Let me know what you think. I do promise to do my best in making it an enjoyable, fun adventure for you.

Thanks,
I've had a solid break over the past month and it's really helped me realize how important it is to step away from even something you consider a hobby if it ever gets dull. I had not done so for so long simply because I didn't want to let anyone down, especially for a long campaign like this where we've all committed for multiple years now! I'm guilty of putting myself second in most things I do, so I'd push myself to post even when I really, really didn't want to. Some mornings, I'd wake up, and instead of thinking "I have to get to work," I'd think "I better update the boards, people are waiting!" Ridiculous? Kind of, but I hate letting people down.

I want to change that. I've been considering a return sometime soon, but updating at a much more repressed pace. A slow trickle here and there, posting as enthusiasm comes instead of on a strict schedule. The game will run a lot slower, but this is what I can offer right now. Maybe I'll post every other day, maybe I'll post once a week. Or maybe it'll be daily. I can't commit one way or another right now is all. How does that sound to you guys?

I likely won't join any more games, at least not for now, though I will keep playing as Poog in your game, Joe, whenever you decide to continue, because that's quite honestly a very low effort role to play.. something about being an insane goblin just comes so naturally. /shrug
Hey guys.
Victor gets to work forging invitations of the party's own. Morvena, Issil, and Geoffrey think on what they know of the nobles. It's possible to either try to impress the nobles individually, or have the Silver Ravens perform an action for the week (current or future).

House Jarvis, is a family known for their interest in architecture, stonemasonry, and city planning. Lead by Baroness Belcara Jarvis, unusually passionate about architecture and one of the friendliest leaders of the noble houses. Morvena even knows of her secret obsession with Cayden Cailean.

Silver Ravens' Action to influence: Alternatively, agreeing to have the Silver Ravens Reduce Danger and having it succeed by 10 or more for a week.

House Jhaltero's leader Baron Canton Jhaltero is ferociously protective of his family, and a shrewd judge of character. The family is keen on learning, and is impressed by anyone with especially esoteric knowledge. They also like silver.

House Vashnarstill's Baron Sendi V. is a greedy, sleazy, yet worldly man, or so he likes to call himself. While the family is interested in trade, fishing and shipbuilding, the Baron is impressed by verbal acrobatics, innuendo, and skill with language.
