okay so here is the deal.

We're going to be sticking to a smaller group. less for me to keep track of and a lot more fun for you to play. I have invited someone whom I have been playing with on the boards for a while now and found to be a most intresting player. So With that said if everyone can take time over their holiday to think and come up with something that would be great. I would like to start this sometime before the start of december. I have a long last week of december so I will not be doing any posting from about the 24th thru 3rd of January. so that is my plan.
Hopefully everyone is up and ready by then. Then I can kick it in to full gear and we can start having some fun.

I would advise at least putting some skill points into the social skills as well as fighting. there will be both.

This is Losely based on another game called L5R. Legend of the Five Rings. I am going to be placing this game along the cost of the
Katapesh area. You will be members of a minor clan called the Badger clan

As a Badger Clan member your job is to help out with the clan to get their castle rebuilt and their family more honor and one day become a Major Clan.
The object of this game is pass the 4 trails to gather enough resources and honor to go to the emporer and persent your clan to him to gain major clan status

Making allies and enemies along the way will be helpful or hurtful, This is a campgain that focuses on both styles of play, There are a lot of chances for roleplaying and for rollplaying as well. If you go rushing in and go looking for a fight you might just end up dead.

The Badger Clan is an oddity, the family ancestral homes in the distant north were destortyed three decades ago by a terrifting oni summoned by one of their own shygenja. Most of the family was slain as well, leaving oly those Ichiro wandering to carry on the name of the Badger. The Hantei died before he had the opportunity to revoke their Minor Clan Status, and Toruri the First allowed them to keep their clan name as a reward for their aid in his campaign afainst Fu Leng. As a result, the Badger are a clan with no home.
The Primary objective of the Badger is to revuild their clan. They constanly seek opporunites to increase the wealth and holdings of the Ichiro, so that their castle my be rebuilt Usually this amount to mercenery work or underhanded swingling, which contributes to the gerneral impression of Badger Samurai as glorified ronin. In the Badgers mind it's all for a noble end. In letting them retain their name, the Emperor game them a second chance. They would not be dishonorable to waste the Emperor blessing.

Honor: How much Honor you personally have. Everyone starts with 1 honor.
Void: Is a status on how well connected to the spirits and the family ties, going back to your ancestors.

honestly I love the concept but I will IM with a couple of changes that would fit in really well with what we are doing if you would enterain those great if you do not want to then fine, Also I will be putting up a little bit more today on char creation for my benifit so please look at that as well before you make up your mind. if you still choose to go with it great! 4d6 for stats Drop lowest. one roll will be used all scores kept. It's more fun that way in my mind.

Race:Anything from Paizo is allowed ASK first just in case
Class:All Paizo Classes, some Archtypes, will not be permited but those will be decided later
starting gold: 16,000 gp Must buy all equipment, excluding spellbooks and Forumla books (anything past 1st book must be paid for, or Holy symbols(unless other then wooden)
Traits: 2 from anything that is on www.d20pfsrd.com
Hit Points:Max 1st and 2nd Level rest are rolled in thread. 1's and 2's will have the option to choose average hit points for their hit die.
Hero Points: Will be used, if you decide to drop out of Hero Points you let me know in tread and let me know of your alt choice.for your extra trait.

as you are all sitting there thinking about what the items could be you see the 4 other groups all run off in the cardinal dirrections each one shouting and whooping in happiness.

you see Rodrick the mayors son instantly break away from his group with the list running at full speed towards the river on the western most side of town.

Okay so here we go

In the little village of Bristol every year they have a scavenger hunt. This year is the first year that you all were invited into the hunt. It is for the coming of age kids in the village. The six of you where all put on a team. You all know each other and you may or may not all like each other but you know for the better of the team at this point you must work together.

The Mayor states "This year we have the biggest purse that we have ever had before in history of the village. We have donations from the following people. Wally, Riddleport Jones, Dumbarr (Locksmith), any many others. We've got a lot of things to find this year. So as the teams have already been choosen I am now going to read off the list of items that have been hidden some where with in the village and outskirts up to a 1/4 mile away. Bearing no fights, injuries, mishaps or any other thing. The first team back here with ALL of the items will win this years prize. PLEASE take only 1 of each item as there are 5 one for each team. Any Tampering will be noticed. Wally has done as he has done in the past and put some protections on them. SO with out furhter ADO! here are the items

The answers do need to be found and they are not needed to roll a check for anything each of you should know some of the answers, if your stuck we can roll a knowledge local check at +5 because everyone knows everything in the town.

Okay do here is the deal I am going to open the gameplay thread here shortly once the computer boots up right now this week is a bit hard just changed jobs so I am going to need some one to get my bearings but I will be post at least once aday here for sure now for ever one who I pmed let me know and for whom I have not tell me so I can fix that I will check it during the day but my hours will allow me to post between 11am cst and 12 cst

We will be starting at level 1 but there will be some perks and flaws along with the game that you will earn thru role play and thru roll play.

I will take 5 People and I will keep the Recruitment board up for 1 week before I make my choices. I will not be picking till then. I will keep an eye on the board and answer any questions

I just changed the information on the site here, I will be updating more when I think of it at the moment, I just thought of the true name of the campaign.

Less then 7 hours till I choose I can see my front runners now and everyone who submitted should be happy because it is not who everyone thinks.
