You have a sticky Capslock...
Yeah, play what fits you.
My warforged is going to multiclass in a somewhat semi-caster class, so we lack a full Fighter as well.
Ha, Wu-jen! Sothal here!
I can't decide, but would like you to play with us.
But, that's Seeker's decision.

My vote is the Leaping Monkey School enters from the south doors so as to have the high ground. I'll let my partner cast his vote on that.
PS. Are we going to PbP in here, or will there be a thread set up?
South entrance is good for me.
Are we going in first, or according to Initiative?
It seems like I am in another timezone, appart from the rest of you. I hope that does not cause too many problems.
But normally I should be online every day.
Thought so, but was not sure. Thanks
I am not the DM, but as far as I know, nobody dropped, and we are at 8 man (or woman).
Damnit, I forgot to update Guard to Beta rules... Probably nothing changed anyway...
Another question: Region Code?
Agreed. I'd like to have someone new enter the plot!
G'Day.
I'm thinking of making a dwarf or Half-Orc Monk. Looks like I still need a partner though...
Tarren: Anything in the rules is okay? Tempting...
Any other equipment we might be allowed to bring into the bar?
Is it just me, or do the Iconics seem old in the Dinosaur-pic?
Anyway, totally love the pics!
Seems like fun!
I'm in.
...tells the world about the dangers of the LHC.
seekerofshadowlight wrote: Why am i thinking of the stargate time loop episode now hummm Like "Stargate: Continuum"?
Not again!
So, LHC is running since an hour...
Nothing has seemed to happen.
Jal Dorak wrote: seekerofshadowlight wrote: ummm I have a goatee So in Bizarro world you wouldn't have one. Very clear difference between dimensions. Nah, that would be easy. His evil twin has a black goatee!
I go with the points one to three:
First: Nothing happenes.
Then, we get a new understanding of the universe, but don't get in the golden age, for the world is already destroyed.
Glad to hear that!
I like it Aude. I really do.
Works well with what (wow... talk about alliteration) I have in mind for Jeagal.
Gonna write some story for him in the next couple of days.
What are the statistics for 2d6+6?
IRONHARD wrote: Franz, im good with an Int 5 half orc fighter. Now it is tempting.
I think it has to be done. It reads "FUN" all over it.
Even if the character might be short-living.
Looking forward to play that.
Nice. Thanks!
xdahnx wrote: edit: Franz, even Ogres (a la the SRD) have INT6. Expect lots of jokes being thrown at you, just to see them fly over your head. Yeah. But it was just a 'What goes within the rules' experiment.
I myself as DM would probably not allow it, and as player don't know how to play a wise, dumb, but charming half-orc (speaking in reference to the abilities stated above).
But I thought 'no harm done in asking questions'.
We will see. If the DM let's me play a really dumb half-orc, I like to try that and see the char going up in flames, if that is the outcome. If not, then the char will not be THAT dumb.
Some questions for character creation:
Starting gold?
Any limitations for abilities? (would you accept a half-orc with STR 19, DEX 10, CON 14, INT 5, WIS 13, CHA 14 as stats? Or is the INT 5 too low?)
Character traits: I'd like to take "Fools for Friends" and "Armor Expert", any problems with that?
(Fools for Friends is a nice tie-in for other players.)
That's it for now.
After skimming over the races-section in the Second Darkness Player's Guide, I'd like to play a Half-orc Fighter.
Part-time Brawler, part-time combatant in Zincher’s Arena.
Hello!
I'm in, YAY!
Thinking about playing a fighter or monk. More interessted in fighter though. Probably Human.
Glad to be in.
Franz
Living in Austria, so the time-zone is not much different, though I'm not a native english speaker.
If you got a spot for me, I'll be glad to play.
Just let me know.
Give it some days (like a week or so).
My order was split in the same packings, received the first last week, the second yesterday.
Don't worry.
Received mine today.
The binding seems to be perfect, and no signature is loose.
But: The corners are crumbled (not badly though) and I have the same spot on the map as Bagpuss mentioned above.
There was no stuffing in the box the CS and the other items came in, so that might be the reason for the (slightly) damaged corners.
The map-spot looks like some of the glue soaked the map, leaving the mark.
On another note: I flipped through the book only but it looks great! Nice job! Keep up the good work!
Todd Stewart wrote: Who was the artist for the pictures of Asmo and Iomedae in today's blog? In the product discussion thread Andrew Hou is mentioned to have drawn these ( and probably the other 18 gods as well).
Well, I would want to post, but Invisible Castle gives me a "500 - Internal Server Error" message.
will try again on Monday.
If nothing changes, take one of the prerolled rolls, to attack Vark.
Wow. You must have had some rolls to hit and hurt Guard there.
I assume Vark is still standing?
I am flanking him now with Whisper?
It is decided then. My daughter will once be named Iomedae!
Fjyndel should be up to date now.
Somebody please look over him though.
Neithan wrote: Depends: In D&D, ... all wooden sticks are a club. ... if they are no quarterstaffs.
Aye.
Would be better for playtesting as well, I think.
It's not really winter, is it?
Shall we update to Beta?
Hey Seeker,
good to have you back.
I'm still in for the play, pondering with the beta.
We definately should go that way.
Maybe you should get a subscription to second darkness, which has started just days ago?
Andrew Betts wrote: You should see me now, looking half a sleep as if I'd been trying divinations everyday for months ... or maybe it's just been playing Rock Band and Braid waiting for the Beta ... So you look like V in the newest strips?
We hope it will be available by 4PM Greenwich time.
I'm in the office, at 27°C... outside it is warmer, and with a clear blue sky. Vienna, Austria, 1:30 PM CET
flash_cxxi wrote: Mothman wrote: Good point. Which subscription would the RPG book be included in though? Pathfinder Chronicles.
EDIT:Oh or do you mean the Beta? That's not in a Sub... sorry I think I misread the posts.
EDIT: EDIT: Yes I did misread the posts... I thought Sanwah meant the Pathfinder Campaign Setting... my bad.
EDIT: EDIT: EDIT:That can't be right... I have both the Beta and KQ #6 sitting in my Shoppong Cart and the total Postage (after discounts are applied) is $19.95 (discount being $7.16). I get three shipping options: $12.79; $26.18; and $34.58. My total for the whole order is $40.82. It can be right. The Final RPG is a hardcover, adding extra weight. The final is probably calculated to have new and more art in it to get a higher pagecount, adding even more weight to it.
I suppose it weights at least double as much as the Beta.
Vienna here... and waiting...
A Healberry?

Wait, that would make me a... Hyperscriber? Ultrascriber? Überscriber? Multiscriber? Terascriber? Hecatoscriber? Fixed that for you.
