Big SG-1 and Atlantis fan here. I agree that any time you add time travel to the mix you get paradoxs and unanswered plot holes. But what really bothered me and my wife was:

I might be wrong, but...
Spoiler:
as far as I know, Jack didn't retire, but is a General now in Washington.

12 and 13 are both in the warehouse, so they should ship soon. Some, if not most of the subscribers already have access to the pdf's of both, so you should not have to wait any much longer.

True but roleplaying XP has not been explicit in the rule IIRC until very recently. The DNA of the game is kill monsters and take their stuff.
I thought 3.x stated somewhere, that you get XP for overcoming an encounter. True, the word encounter implies a fight, but why do some DM's speak of social encounters then?
As kessukoofah said: your not wrong. The DNA of the game IS 'kill monsters and take their stuff'. That's where the game comes from.
You know I've been reading up on the rules and it seems to imply that the 8 hour rest is only relevant to arcane casters; divine casters apparently can prepare spells provided that they have sufficient concentration at the appointed hour, i.e. morning, midnight, dusk.
I thought they had to rest too, but appearently that's not true.

Time spent resting has no effect on whether a cleric can prepare spells.
There is still the question, if we have the hour to prepare them...
Not really. But I think a thread in the Gamer Connect can take care of that.
I haven't found my Box of In Nomine Satanis / Magna Veritas as of now.
Also I discovered that the German and French "In Nomine Satanis" and the English "In Nomine" aren't exactly the same... I think the difference is in Style and Feel of the game, not in the rules as both use the d666.
As for L5R: I played some Oriental Adventures, but that's about it. I'm not really interested in it.

What exactly is the problem you see there? It's not as if the removal of the x4 multiplier at first level makes a charcter's skill values worse. A first level Pathfinder character with 1 rank in a skill has the same total skill bonus than a 3.5 first level character with four ranks.
Only if it's a class skill. Characters that invest heavily in cross-class-skills have much less skill points to do that.
Appart from that, I really like the changes to the skill-system.
But that has nearly nothing to do with the Favored Class bonus.

There might still be some folks around here who haven't seen Dark Knight yet. I know...I know... what a bunch of weirdos, but it has been known to happen.
Yeah, like those crazy europeans!
And that it didn't air in the movies over the lake is no excuse!
Updated the character page with Fjyndel Druid 3 and the advanced Grendel.
For Grendel: Justin Slunder, Oliver and myself adapted the 3.5 riding dog to PF-RPG as good as possible.
Please look over it and tell me if it is okay, or what needs to be changed.

Oooh, don't forget about Chuck Norris prestige class!
Lol - man that has soooo much potential... [am thinking of all those excellent Chuck Norris facts that could become class abilities or feats]
Two Stones [Norris ability]
Any member of the Chuck Norris prestige class can use a bird [or similar avian subtype] to kill two stones [no save, no divine intervention. no escape...] as a free action.
BD
And the new magic items!
Tears of Chuck Norris
These potion contains, contrary to its name, only one tear of Chuck Norris, diluted with water and alcohol.
Effect: Drinking the potion restores all ability damage and heals all wounds, infections, illnesses and other detrimental effects a character might have. Furthermore it permanently increases the characters Strength and Constitution ability scores by +8 and the Dexterity ability score by +4.
Hey Franz, looking over your character i noticed a few things that may need correcting, i say may since i've never played that class or race.
1. shouldn't your hp's = 10? looks like you omited your Con bonus
2. Diplomancy is a cc skill which exceed your alloment of skill points by 2, total skill points should = 4
3. a Warhammer is a martial weapon and your class starts off only with simple, unless thats a race thing?
4. your Explorers outfit is free
Thanks for the Heads up. Will look over it again.
Edit: You are totally right.
Added the Con bonus, took out the rank(s) in Diplomacy, searching for a new weapon.
I like the "Desperate Helper"-Idea. It also would be a hook for the military of Andoran.
If I had a name of an appropriate town, I would write it immediately into the Background.
Stergan Rus Did you go awol? I need to know if your still in.
I know your waiting for the festival to start to appear, last i checked, but I just want to make sure your there for it. You can still post where your character is coming to sandpoint etc.
The game will be advancing to the day of the festival soon.
Sorry, did not see that post yesterday.
Yes, I'm still here.
I'm waiting for the next day to roll in, then Stergan will appear, coming from the south.
I'm thinking of a human Paladin now... not much of a healer, but better than nothing. I don't like Clerics and I can't think of an interessting Druid to play.
