"Come with us then, milady. We all, Lavinia Vanderboren and my order will give you a chance to redeem yourself."
"That depends on her" answers Forzakad and nods to the also slumping woman, he addressed earlier. "But I hope she will come to her senses soon enough. We all need to get out of here, before the rest of the guild will corner us all and mow us down. We are in no condition to continue to fight against fresh opponents."
"Don't hurt her. She is now herself again." With those words, the Captain steps forward and speaks to the woman who is at last again in her own body. "The Dreaming Dark normally does not let its vessels get away alive. They are without remorse. We are Kalashtar. We know, what you have suffered. We can offer you the seclusion of my order. They know, how to help you to cope with the torment you have suffered from the Quori."
"More probably, that the assassination has already been done"
The Captain takes a long look at the scribblings on the chalkboard.
"Leave the last one alive, Finn. Seems our last informant is not available any more."
"I'll show them fear!"
Demorailze! Will save against 15, or become shaken for 2 minutes...
"Thank you, Lord Thoven." The Captain says. His strides are now a bit wider than before and the face is livelier.
Back at 10 hp... good.
"We also need to get out of here, before the water gets too high. Did anyone check the door, if Whisper was successful?"
The Captain is holding his head, wobbling a bit from the effort it took on his mind.
Frozakhad is readying his action in case the crocodile is going to attack. If the reptile does attack, it will get a serious headache. Perhaps this will confound the creature.
Mind Blast with 2 PP readied for the attack of the monster. (2d10 damage unless Will save DC 15)
Forzakhad puts his hands on his temples and concentrates, then he whirls with his arms extended around himself and leaves a shimmer behind, that surrounds him.
Inertial Armor (+4 AC)
"We should continue down here, but take the ladder away. Good idea, Finn."
"They just take over another host, some hosts are willing and specially bred, but recently they can also possess unwilling vessels. If Vanthus is in league with these agents of the Dreaming Dark, I need his knowledge about their plans here in Sasserine. If he is only in league with the Lotus Dragons and the guild is doing business with the Quori agents, then I will need the knowledge of the one responsible from the side of the guild. Those two are not going to answer questions any more. Sad, but true."

"I don't know him, but I know his kind. They are similar to what I am, but they are ruthless aberrations, because they suppress the spirit of their host when the Joining takes place, and have no qualms in setting them up to die, because they only return to Dal Quor. They try to purge us from the face of the world, because we are the only ones that know, that they only want to take over this realm, regardless of what they say. I known them as the Oneiro Nigro, that is the Dreaming Dark in your language."
Forzakhad looks down, takes a deep breath seemingly in a deep trance for five seconds and then looks up again.
"I may look like a human, but I am not, we are a Kalashtar. We are joined spirits, permanently joined. As to what this agent of the Dreaming Dark was saying, he was speaking Quori. He said first, that you're gonna die, Finn. Then he exclaimed, that we would not be able to kill him, and I answered, that I don't want to, that I want know what he knows. And as he went down he said, we'd meet again. His host may have been destroyed, but that will not stop him."
"Novult tibi vitaj, erazjone, sed quod tu zijoni."
Seeker:
The Captain whispers, "No. You won't get away! You will STAY!" and with those words a ball of ectoplasmic goo shoots at the fleeing man with the psychic knife in his hands, propelling Forzakhad a few steps back.
Entangling Ectoplasm at the Evildoer
Ranged touch attack (no save, entangled for 5 rounds, if the goo hits him)
ranged touch attack + action point (1d20+2+1d6=21)
GOTCHA!
5-foot step backwards please.
After hearing those words the Captain muscles his way forward into the room. With an unusual amount of hatred in his voice Forzakhad growls to the man in front of him, "You have done enough evil tonight."
Mind Blast at the Soulknife (2 power points as I do not have Overchannel yet => Will Save DC = 15)
Mind Blast damage (2d10=8)
"Keep your eyes open and move forward. This place reeks."
Forzakhad nods. "Go for it."" he whispers.
"What do you see beyond the corridor? Any doors left or right?"
"We can use it later, when we rest. Go on, Ardanto."
Nah, I think two different responses to two different PbP's got mixed up by the web server
Forzakhad keeps watch on both doors readying an action to blast any hostile coming into the room.
"What are you waiting for? Whisper? We should be checking for traps anyways."
In the shop (Seeker,Daurros,Guard,Thoven):
Seeker,Daurros,Guard,Thoven:
Seeker,Daurros,Guard,Thoven:
Seeker,Daurros,Guard,Thoven:
The captain looks a bit unsure around and then back to Daurros. "Young black dragon... my ship, right."
The captain has a +6 in Bluff, but that means he is not very good in it (as his Knowledge skills are way higher).
"I am not well versed in lying or distracting, but I have knowledge about lifeforms."
"I have a personal favor to ask from you all, while we are going to investigate these hoodlums, Vanthus is now a part of. They are somehow connected to the murder of the harbor master, I was told, and I was asked to find out more, what went on behind it, and if enemies of my enclave are involved. Can I count on you to help me, while we try to capture our prey?"
"So long as he's breathing, Ithaniar still has a chance of getting back up, Whisper. Does this cleric have anything, that might help us in escaping this hellhole."
"I think, our exploits are already discussed and spread among my emmm... brothers. They will certainly not be forgotten, even if we should not be able to get out of here alive."
Mental hammer into melee (1d20-3=3, 1d4=4)
This time the force orb flies astray. "By the Abyss! I can't do much here. You hold this abomniation at bay, and I'll get our unconscious cleric."
Forzakhad moves to the back and begins to drag Ithaniar into the reach of the bursts of positive energy. "Come on, Whisper. Help me."
"Man, you're a send from the heavens. Come on, guys. Show these critters their second death." The captain sends a mental hammer into the undead, that sent forth the wave of negative energy.
Mental Hammer; damage (1d20+1=14, 1d4=1) Hm, looks more like a mental feather to me..
Forzakhad drops back into the second line and murmurs "I can feel nothing. Why can't I sense them?" Then shivers a bit and then shouts. "Let's let them meet their maker!", readying a mental hammer for whatever's coming out of the shadows.
"Please, come with us, Whisper. No need to get separated in a place like this, especially when we are so dependent on light by Finn and Dauros.."
The captain will provide cover and look out for any dangers, while Ardanto is in the water.
"You are right, Guard. It is better to have them cooked. Their blood is blue, see there? That is why it gets so red when it is cooked."
The captain looks about the room. "Anything else here? Then we start with the first door to our right."
"Okay, we now have Crab ragout. Let's make sure, that no more crabs come along, before we tackle the doors in this hall."
"Okay, Finn takes Ithaniar. Let's get going."
