Feats:

Deft Maneuvers: You are skilled in a variety of dextrous combat maneuvers. You do not provoke an attack of opportunity when performing a trip, disarm, dirty trick, reposition, or steal combat maneuver. In addition, you receive a +2 bonus on checks with these combat maneuvers, and you can make a Bluff check to feint in combat as a move action.

Class Abilities:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A slayer is proficient his deity's favored weapon, all simple and martial weapons, as well as with light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields).
Studied Target (Ex): A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.
Studied Spawn (Ex): A spawn slayer specializes in fighting against larger, single targets. He can ignore size restrictions against a studied target when attempting combat maneuvers against larger foes.

Track (Ex): A slayer adds 1/2 his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.

Racial Abilities:

Elven Immunities: Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
Keen Senses: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
Silent Hunter: Elves are renowned for their subtlety and skill. Elves with this racial trait reduce the penalty for using Stealth while moving by 5 and can make Stealth checks while running at a –20 penalty (this number includes the penalty reduction from this racial trait). This racial trait replaces elven magic.
Weapon Familiarity: Elves are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords, rapiers, and shortbows (including composite shortbows), and treat any weapon with the word “elven” in its name as a martial weapon.

Traits:

Giant Slayer (Campaign): Your family’s village was plundered by giants in the wilds of Varisia, leaving nothing but a smoldering ruin. After the destruction of your village, your family trained for combat against giants to prevent such a tragedy from ever happening again. Since hearing of giants mobilizing throughout the countryside, you ventured to Sandpoint to help the town prepare for a possible incursion. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff, Perception, and Sense Motive checks and +1 trait bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls against creatures of the giant subtype.

Signature Moves (Social): You’re known for some unique item that has become your trademark. Your starting equipment includes a single masterwork item worth less than 900 gp, and you gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff and Intimidate checks while wielding this item in one or both hands.

Warrior of Old (Race): As a child, you put in long hours on combat drills, and though time has made this training a dim memory, you still have a knack for quickly responding to trouble. You gain a +2 trait bonus on initiative checks.

Background:

Firavel was born to a young elven rogue working in a temple of Calistra in Kyonin after a brief tryst with his father, an elven noble. This noble was angered that their union bore fruit and wanted no part in raising the boy, furious at the complications that could ensue with a bastard son around. He gifted the mother a fine elven curve blade as compensation but also used his influence to force them to leave the elven homeland.

Firavel's mother thus took him to distant relations living in the Mierani Forest of northern Varisia. They would routinely travel to Magnimar so that his mother could visit the Calistrian temple there so she could continue her service to the Savored Sting. She had him trained in combat, preparing him, not to become a protector of the forest as what might be expected of a resident of Mierani, but an instrument of Calistrian vengeance that she would eventually aim at his father. She never informed Firavel of her plans, nor gave him information on his father, not wanting that information to interfere in her vengeful task.

This retribution would never come to pass, however, as a group of ogres from the Calphiak Mountains to the south, attacked their village, destroying all in their path, including Firavel's mother. Firavel, however, was knocked unconscious when a tree collapsed on him. The ogres assumed he was already dead and moved on. When he awoke, he helped the survivors search for their missing families and friends and restore some semblance of order but finding the abused corpse of his mother broke him. He wanted nothing more to do with his kin and the memories of what had happened, so he shouldered the curve blade and took his mother's corpse to the Temple in Magnimar where it could be buried among the faithful.

He remained in Magnimar for some time afterwards to visit the libraries for information on giants and search for those who could train him to fight against him, nothing but vengeance on his mind. The Temple assisted his search, helping gather information or pointing him at those who could teach him what he needed around Varisia. There is nothing Calistria doesn't like more than vengeance. He started hearing rumors of giants mustering across the countryside and headed for the nearest town, Sandpoint, to help get them ready for a potential attack, and to give him an opportunity at retribution.

Description:

Personality
While Firavel appears to offer an easy smile, seeming personable and friendly enough in a conversation. Nonetheless, something in his dark eyes, a mixture of sadness and anger, suggest the smile and easy words may be but a facade.

When thoughts or discussions turn towards topics that align with his mournful past, his dark eyes appear to flare with what could be a hint of red, perhaps a perceptual fabrication based on the heat from the flash of rage briefly contorting his face.

Appearance
Firavel is tall and slim, fairly non descript for an elf, his pale skin and near-white platinum blonde hair stand out against the dark colors of his clothing. His eyes are a dark grey that appear almost black. The hilt of a long curved blade he wears on his back sticks out from behind one shoulder, a bow and quiver behind the other.

Player Questionnaire:

1. What time zone are you in?
Eastern

2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
Off and on across about 30 years. Haven't played in person in several years. PbP has been about 2-3 years but stopped around the same time I'd stopped TT.

3. What's your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?
Commonalities between TT & PbP: Developing a character (mostly for the personality but I like the thought experiments behind the crunch, too) and role-playing, being in the other's shoes and living their life through an adventure.

4. What do you expect from this game?
Fun. To scratch that RP itch that CRPGs don't really help with and using a system I am still familiar with (1e) so that I can focus on the RP (maybe this last part is also part of the response to #3). A collaborative story-telling experience.

5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Fun RP, respect, & team building. Communication. As at the end of #4, collaboration in story-telling.

6. What do you expect out of me?
I expect you to have fun. Communicate with us if there are aspects of our play or playstyles that are reducing that fun for you. If it's something outside our control, walk away (although please let us know first). As with the end of #4, help create the space for collaborative story-telling.

7. (If you don't want this to be public, PM me the answer to this one and just note that you did so.) Beyond the obvious (generally stuff already prohibited by Paizo's forum rules,) what are your redlines? Are there any topics, themes, or imagery that you absolutely do not want to see in the game?
None that occurs to me that wouldn't already be covered by forum rules. I'll let you know if something comes up.
