But, as there are no real disadvantages to dumping Charisma, it's simply the "go to" dump stat for just about everyone.
Yep. Isn't it great?

I personally don't care, I optimize pretty well and can min/max with the best of them. I just don't pretend I'm doing it for some noble "roleplaying" reasons.

Edit: Plus, I play in a game that mechanically screws people who dump stats, and we roll, 4d6 drop.

Look at my Fiachra character on here (though he isn't up to date wit the new rules changes) in my aliases (actually, I'll just post this as him). I rolled the 6 and the 8 and had to do something with them. So he's a crippled, evil, scheming, hard to be around social black hole. Lots of real in game disadvantages. If I were doing point buy I doubt he'd be that character, because I wouldn't have dumped.

Yeah, it was probably me not paying attention.
In your defense, that jerkwad Kirth keeps changing the rules when he finds problems with the old ones. Look at this thread -- it's 8 pages of him saying "Boo-hoo, this doesn't work quite right, I need to fix it, woe is me." The whole thing is sickening.

Um, you're dead. And I didn't cast "Speak With Dead Goofballs". So shush.

Pfft. Dwarven amateur.

I was going to say this, but I decided to let you do it. I know Fiacra doesn't feel anything like a "god wizard", and I like it. He just wishes that goofy half orc was still around, he's a little nervous about the stoutness of his companions...
Whaddya tryin' ta say?

Orc meat shields are meatier than elven ones? As a fellow elf, you shouldn't be offended by such observations.

Actually, I guess Fiachra is about as done as possible for now. If you could give all three a once over and let me know if I have everything straight (or if I missed something), that would be cool.

The party had no cold iron weapons. Ranged attacks were ineffective.

So this is one of those times evocation would be useful :)

And if the martial classes got through they would do a good bit of damage even with damage reduction. And they should be hitting more than 50% of the time. Even if they are blinded, if they were charging they still get the one attack with concealment, and could take off half the hit points with a single attack (40 average damage -10)

It could be a hard fight for CR 5, but it is supposed to be at +2 CR.

Are you tryin' to be insulting?! Humans, I swear!

Heh. He should learn from the insult master. Me.

And, my knowledge check:

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

"Well, this is obviously an example of...OOOOOOHHHHHHH shiny!"

I wrack my brain:

[roll]1d20+11[/roll]

Great, the elf gets another turn before me. My swordplay is going to get rusty!
We can work out a training schedule and see what happens. I would be willing to show you somethings.

Yes. You can show him how to get thrown in jail. That should be educational.

Allow this ritual, and I promise you'll never have post-trash cake again...

Don't trust anything this guy gives you! All I did was retrieve a box, and look where it got me!

Um, who cast "Speak With Dead"? Like we needed input from this yoyo any more...

I have the books, my indentured servant is carrying the body of the elven lass, and, if there were any other treasure, it is slagged fromt he fire, I'm sure.

Did we leave the necromancer alive to face whatever passes for justice here, or did someone end his miserable existence, I do not recall.

Where d'you think I got these scars, whelp?

P.S. Just kidding -- I got 'em as a kid. Unlike humans, orcs know how to treat unruly brats!

And here I thought you were still an unruly brat...

Dwarves, orcs, meh. Aren't there any PEOPLE posting here???

Kullen, your disposition is equal to the heinous act I'm sure is the reason you draw breath.

Only I am allowed to insult my fellow travelers.

Consider that fair warning.

Meh. Your tainted blood and foul breath are an offense to all that is civil.

And leave the little one alone. I'm toying with the idea of taking her on as MY familiar.

She bites!

I'm counting on it.

;)
