About Fenna Thistleswade

Fenna was once, before the death of her god, a highly respected prophetess, penning countless scripts telling of her divinely inspired visions. Her faith was her passion, and her prophecies a manifestation of that, but when Aroden’s greatly anticipated return instead resulted in his death, something within her broke.

With the death of her passion—something that is required to sustain all gnomes—she succumbed to the horrible condition known as The Bleaching. Physically, the manifestation was slow, her once brightly coloured hair began to fade to a stark white, while her eyes and skin fell into an almost lifeless grey. The mental impact however, was far from slow, and not limited to just The Bleaching, in the instant Aroden died, shattering a thousand lifetimes of prophecy, so too did her mind shatter.

The human priests, distraught over the loss of their god, knew little of the ailment that struck Fenna, and without their divine magics could do little to help her. Seeing little alternative, they sent her to live amongst an enclave of her own kind within the Gronzi forest. There she has lived in seclusion for the last century, being cared for by the closest thing that exists to experts on The Bleaching. Over the years, her mental state stabilised under their diligence, and while she has still not recovered to her former self, she is capable of holding mostly coherent conversations, and for the most part can care for herself. Indeed, for the last fifty years, her condition has been such that her caretakers allowed her to roam briefly into the surrounding forests, perhaps there to find something fresh to hold her interest. While the miraculous results—only half hoped for—did not materialise, not long after beginning her ventures Fenna did meet a young boy, doing some wandering of his own. His name was Galen Medvyed, and his youthful curiosity brought Fenna the nearest thing to joy she had felt in a long time. The two have remained good friends ever since, though Galen’s visits have dwindled in recent years, due to his responsibilities to his house.

Several months ago, Fenna received a letter from Absalom, containing some of her own prophetic writings. At first she seemed to dismiss the letter as a cruel reminder of better days, but on a recent night—perhaps by coincidence alone, the same night that Akiton was visible in the night sky, floating amidst the Empty Throne constellation—she quietly packed her belongings and left the enclave that had been her home for a century.

Before taking her leave, she left a note for those who had helped her, explaining where, if not why, she was going. For Galen she left another note, containing just a single phrase: "The stars, they are dancing again."

Revelation (Guiding Star): While night sky [chosen star ("Aroden's Eye",)] is visible, + Cha to Wis based skills/checks, Always know precise location, and free Empower/Extend/Silent/Still 1/night.
Revelation (Awesome Display): Each creature affected by your illusion (pattern) spells is treated as if its total number of Hit Dice were equal to its number of Hit Dice minus your Charisma modifier (6).
Moonlight Mantle: Your innate understanding of the moon renders you immune to lycanthropy. Additionally, you may disrupt a lycanthrope’s connection to the moon with a successful touch attack. This action automatically forces the lycanthrope into its humanoid form, which it must remain in for a number of rounds equal to your oracle level (8).
You can use this ability to force others into a rage, as per the spell. Using this ability is a melee touch attack. You can use this ability once per day.
Moonlight Bridge (Su): You summon a bridge of shimmering moonlight. The 10-foot-wide span touches the ground at a point adjacent to your position. From this point it can extend in any direction for 10 feet per oracle level. The path persists until you have crossed over the bridge or for 24 hours, whichever is shorter. You may summon a moonlight bridge a number of times per day equal to your Charisma bonus (6/6). Should the bridge be attacked, treat it as a wall of force.
Lure of the Heavens (Su): Your connection to the skies above is so strong that your feet barely touch the ground. At 1st level, you no longer leave tracks. At 5th level, you can hover up to 6 inches above the ground or even above liquid surfaces, as if levitating. At 10th level, you gain the ability to fly, as per the spell, for a number of minutes per day equal to your oracle level (8/8). This duration does not need to be consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-minute increments.

TRAITS

Indomitable Faith: +1 trait bonus to Will saves
Noble Born (Medvyed): +2 Diplomacy when dealing with fey and a +1 trait bonus to Will saves against their supernatural and spell-like abilities.
Prophecy Reawakened: For good or for ill, it seems your old prophecies are beginning to come true, and your tenuous connection to Aroden's Star is beginning to manifest itself in mysterious, otherworldy guidance. You gain the ability to use the Star Chart revelation, but doing so is taxing both physically and mentally, causing you to become exhausted for eight hours after communing. Should you ever take the Star Chart revelation via a revelation or feat- this penalty is removed, you gain the ability to use it one additional time per day, and you cast all divination spells at +1 CL.

The Fey-Child of the Stars shall lose herself,
Once the Eye is shattered, so too shall the Star-Child shatter,
The Seekers of Awe shalt restore the Fey-Child,
With the aid of the progeny of the Red Dragon,

To grant peace to a haunted reflection of his creator.
