Garash is up

I was just saying that the spell description for Longstrider says it increases my base speed, not my total speed. My base speed is 20 ft, Longstrider increases it to 30 ft., and then the heavy armor listing for a 30 ft. speed creature is 20 ft. However, if you say my speed is 25 ft., I'll take it!

No, you are correct. Re-reading the entry I do notice the "base" in there, I had thought it was a flat +10' to movement. Sorry for the ridiculnessitude.

Your speed would be 25feet, longstrider adds 10' speed to your 15' of speed.

Garash is next.

Rurin is up.

Spartacus also needs to decide if he is using any ride checks or just taking the damage.

Jathali is up.

The rules don't seem to address the whole "hitting cover" stuff with regards to the horse, but unless someone can site something better, I would rule that if the shot would have hit the person without cover, then the cover bonus to ac would mean that the cover blocked the shot. So the horse would be hit in this instance, but could Spartacus use another ride check to try to negate that damage also? I would say yes to that, it doesn't state how many ride checks can be made in round, but it does state under "mounted combat" that he could only negate damage once per round.

Not quite Vissigoth.

The lance does triple damage on a charge, with a x3 crit multiplier.

If you crit on the charge you would do a total of x5.

Why do you think I assessed Spartacus as the most dangerous? ;-)

X5 is still nothing to sneeze at though....

Vanin is up!

Round 2 starts now, Logan is up.
The doors will close at the end of this round.

Still waiting on an answer as to whether or not I can occupy the spaces in D8 or D9 and still benefit from cover...

Yes, you can.

"Fakey Pants", hum, watch it Greer!
I'm back a little early. I hate Wildwood beaches.

Taking cover behind the low wall, Heinrich draws out his long ranseur and a small vial of oil, which he slathers over the tip of the weapon. It shimmers softly in response.

He smiles at Logan and Rurin. "I have a good feeling about this."

Sorry, screwed up. You weren't next Vanin was next, then Nilgaar, THEN Heinrich.

Sorry for the mixup.

FH

Initiative Order is as follows:

LOGAN (25) B
VANIN (16) B
NILGAAR (13) R
HEINRICH (10) B
JATHALI (7) R
RURIN (6) B
GARASH (5) R
SPARTACUS (4) R

The Doors all open revealing the arena floor. The crowd erupts in excitement as the match begins.

Logan, you are up.

Readying myself for the coming battle in Y8, I quaff my potion of Mage Armor (AC now 19), and nock an arrow to my bow.

Initiative (1d20+3=7)

You have to start behind the doors. I assume that Z8 is acceptable, if not, pick a different square.

Rurin's initiative roll- 1d20+1=6

Mevers, Fatespinner and Mothman have yet to post initiative, starting location and prep-time standard action.

Spartacus sits mounted on his horse in Y13-14 and Z13-14 and quaffs a potion for his standard action.

Initiative- 4

The crowd is shuffling in, searching for seats in the Arena. Anticipation runs through them as they draw closer to fight-time for tonight is an epic battle between the forces of good and evil. The jugglers and swordswallowers are all finishing their crowd pleasing antics and the Tumbling Tumaris finish their act with one final flourish. The Arenamaster stands and with a magically amplified voice he says,Ladies and Gentlemen, Noble and peasant, we have for you tonight a battle like none before! A battle between 2 teams, one Good! And one Evil! They shall battle to the death for your amusement! And we offer a twist, a secret one to see which Team is truly supreme!
But enough talk, on with the BATTLE!!!!

We will be using the same Arena Map as last time with Team Evil starting in the red starting area and Team Good starting in the blue starting area. Remember the arena doors close at the end of round 2 and anyone caught behind the doors may be considered out of the battle.
I would like everyone to post with starting positions, the standard action used to prepare, and their PCs initiative. After everyone posts we will begin the first round.
Good luck to all and have fun....
