About Erynion Orvir

Erynion tends to draw eyes when he enters a room. He is taller than most of the folk he's been known to associate with this century, and he's fairly handsome by any estimation with long silvery-white locks tied loosely back with a ribbon and facial features that border on delicate. His skin is a slightly dusky hue, not uncommon among the Varisians but middlingly strange on an elf. What tends to draw the most attention, however, is his motley attire. What may have begun as a set of simple dark robes has been courted by foppish Taldan finery, danced with a multitude of Varisian baubles, and even assaulted by a distinctly Ulfen wolf pelt thrown over one shoulder, all accumulated fairly as Erynion sought to experience their cultures. A strange mask, known to a few as coming from the Mordant Spire, dangles loosely on his other shoulder. Carried always in one hand or the crook of his arm is a large parasol with which to protect his overly sensitive eyes from the harsh noonday sun, and slung on his back is a satchel filled with curiosities, wonders, and books. Histories, manuals, journals, and legends have all passed into and out of that satchel, read and re-read as Erynion has journeyed throughout the Inner Sea region.

The archivist and any allies within 30 feet gain a +1 insight bonus to AC and on attack rolls and saving throws against exceptional*, supernatural, and spell-like abilities used by creatures of that specific kind of monster (e.g., frost giants, not all giants or all humanoids). This bonus increases by +1 at 5th level and every six levels thereafter. This language-dependent ability requires visual and audible components.
