After 9 months of working on this, I'm so excited for folks to finally get to play it! Plus it's a huge thrill to see Nathan and Laura voicing some of the characters. :) Hope you all enjoy it!

So, what were we playing a few months back? a Precursor to this?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Name: Hiro Suziyake, the Seraphinite Sage
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Race: Kitsune
Class: Bard 12
Description: Hiro almost exclusively remain s in his human form, and as such he has red hair, grey eyes and olive skin. He stands about 5'4" and weighs about 130 pounds. He dresses in bold colored, well made clothing but in practical cuts. A whip always hangs from one hip and some bongos off the other.

Hiro has always considered himself to be a scholar of the ancient civilizations, recently he has even become an expert on the technology of Azlant. He continues to look for hidden information among the ruin of the long lost civilizations.

The alternate interpretation which was being posited was that due to the fact that the bonus is being applied to the Envoy and their Allies, and a negative is not being applied to the Enemy, that the target is the Allies and not the Enemy. All similar Improvisations clearly have the effect applied to the Enemy in the form of a Negative. Get 'Em gives the Allies a +1 morale Bonus to Hit instead of a -1 Penalty to AC for the Enemy.

I don't see where Mind-Affecting would not be used as written. The target is what would determine the relevancy of the how it is applied. For instance, Inspiring Boost, would not work on an Android Ally.

Is there a place where all this Errata has been gathered both for the original scenarios and the ones published since?

I also had a question of my own:
** spoiler omitted **

I played it straight, and allowed for use of funds garnered through the adventure. I just ensured the sheet they showed the money marked as "spent" So, it took away form their total money, but didn't change the award of the scenario.

Mo4W gets Lvl, others get Lvl/4

Dragon Ferocity treats you as a Mo4W

I've seen the interpretation where Mo4W only increases damage, while all monks get the # of uses per level day.

I'm confused over how many times I can use Elemental Fist per day.

Benefit: When you use Elemental Strike pick one of the following energy types: acid, cold, electricity, or fire. On a successful hit, the attack deals damage normally plus 1d6 points of damage of the chosen type. You must declare that you are using this feat before you make your attack roll (thus a failed attack roll ruins the attempt). You may attempt an Elemental Fist attack once per day for every four levels you have attained (see Special), and no more than once per round.

Special: A monk of the four winds receives Elemental Fist as a bonus feat at 1st level, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. A monk may attempt an Elemental Fist attack a number of times per day equal to his monk level, plus one more time per day for every four levels he has in classes other than monk.

The two confusing passages I've marked in bold. I can't tell if it means non-monks get Lvl/4 uses and Monk get Lvl uses OR if it's saying Mo4W gets Lvl uses all others get Lvl/4
