Oh, first question, finally. I am prepping Arclord's Abode. I get to the Transmutation Showroom and the Scroll Storage room (B7 and B8). The Transmutation Showroom has a long description and task chain to get a scroll from a stuffed owl hanging in the middle of the room, but it doesn't tell me what scroll is found. In the Scroll Storage room, you find a scroll of either Enlarge Person or Comprehend Languages without looking, and the scroll from Scroll Storage is worth 2 TB? Aside from the inequity of the Treasure Bundle allocation, what scroll is found on the owl?
I have run it, and had real concerns whether the PCs would get all the Tale fragments. It was a group of four, I think, and one PC just didn't have any applicable skills. With all the different skills usable, it was odd to have one person with a character that just couldn't seem to do anything. Some bad rolls starting out made me sweat it, but in the end they got all the fragments.
I have a question about the "A Broken Promise Haunt." The statblock doesn't have a Routine, so do you just not ever enter Initiative? It triggers once every 10 minutes, and that's it? It is especially confusing because the Exploration paragraph immediately after the Haunt says "If the PCs disable the haunt. . . " Does this mean the PCs must detect the Haunt before it triggers, and disable it or get Lost In The Woods?

Mine are working on the Allies challenge before completing the Unsealed Way. This is their first area. We should be moving on in the next day or two.

Reading further, and looking at the e-mail, it looks like I am the replacement. I am still surprised an honored to have the opportunity to play. Looking at my High Tier options, It looks like we might need Melee types, so I could bring the following options, none of whom have on-line profiles yet.
Of course only one of these has been played since 2017, and that one game was in 2018, so I may be a little rusty.

Hope I'm not too late. Just found the notification in my Spam folder
Just to be clear, in the cellar, I think the party comes down the stairs from the left, and B1 is probably the first room on the left as they come down the big stairs? It doesn't seem to be marked on my map. I concur with all the issues raised about the maps above. I ended up cropping the map provided into different sections and aligning the 10x10 grid to every other 5x5 intersection, so it is on three maps instead of one. Also, one of the tricks that helps me align maps in Roll20 is to set the Dimensions in the Advanced menu for the object in Roll20. These maps all have a border outside the actual grid, so I can't count squares and determine the proper size of the map when I overlay it onto the grid. The maps in this scenario demonstrate one of my other Pet Peeves: map orientation changes. The first floor map has North to the right, but the other two maps have North at the top of the map.

Dennis, I would also like a copy. I have been looking to start GMing PbP, and this looks very useful.
I am a little confused. The first paragraph says:

Is the Pathfinder 2 Multi-table special the only PF2 scenario?
I am prepping this for next weekend. It is obvious the intention in "Sorting the Mail" is to limit the amount of information the players get. From the way I read the text, it sounds like each player can only have one piece of mail at a time. The text explicitly states only one check per document. Does that also mean that each player an only one check in this section? Or could one character have been passed multiple documents and make multiple checks?

I kind of hate to be "that guy" but the apparent art credit above the statblock reads

I suggest we start at the meeting with Rowane, at the palace at Eleusys. She may additional tasks or information to track down.
If Stan hears about the means to protect himself from Dispater's attention, he is interested. Gilgrim, I agree this place is confounding, and a good ale is welcome. He taps the dwarfs mug with his own before his next swig.

Is there a particular place and/or format for these statics? I just stuck mine various places in the character profile, but I am not sure I can get all the relevant information in the right places. For example, Stan has Snap Shot and Improved Snap Shot, so he threatens with his bow.

Stan is a fairly straightforward Paladin of Erastil. His code is below. I don't see that it prohibits others from Summoning Devils and such, so long as they are no a danger to the Community. The paladins of Erastil are gruff, strict traditionalists. They seek to preserve the integrity of rural life and communities. Their tenets include the following affirmations.

My character is there on the Discussion tab. I am playing Stan the ranged Paladin. Stan is a Divine Hunter Paladin. He has a lot of the standard Paladin abilities with some of them swapped to ranged. For example, he exudes an "Aura of Care" which means Allies don't provide cover to enemies if they are within 10 feet of me, and I can Lay On Hands at a range of 40 feet by expending two uses.He is good at Diplomacy and Perception, but not many other skills.
I ran this today, after getting the clarification on the Treasure Bundles. A couple of things came up. The Unseen Spores challenge states the antechamber is 10 feet wide by 20 feet long. My group chose the satchel with the Glitterdust spell. The scenario states "Glitterdust or faerie fire both reveal spores, making the spores in the first two squares visible." Implying the Glitterdust will only cover a 10 by 10 area. The description for Glitterdust states it is a 10 Foot burst, and can therefore cover a 20 foot by 20 foot area, rendering the challenge moot. The Drake got 19 damage on the first Caustic Mucus, dropping two of the front liners in the first round. It was tough, and one of the players would have died without the nonlethal conversion in the arena. They did finally succeed. I also ran the "The Equestrian Witch" encounter. The text states she casts "Mirielle casts shillelagh immediately before entering the courtyard." I found it odd that her statblock doesn't have her staff with shillelagh listed in her weapons. Players were having a heck of a time with reflex saves, failing most. Between the Caustic Mucus and the Witch using Burning hands, they were having a rough time.

I have this concern as well, although in cases where the scenario doesn't really have all the opportunities to earn the Treasure Bundles, I assume they earn any that aren't really achievable. They can't lose the three mentioned, so I add the other Treasure Bundles they can earn to the base of three.

The text of Blade Ally states:
Looking at all those property runes, the usage for all of them is "etched into a melee weapon." Does the weapon the Champion is applying the Blade Ally enhancements to have to meet the prerequisites for those enhancements? As an example, can a Champion of Erastil apply the disrupting effect to their Longbow, even though it is not a melee weapon? If so, do those enhancements then transfer to the ammunition? Could I use the shifting enhancement to replicate the "Bowstaff" spell from PF1?
I had the same question. Since the pages are not mentioned specifically, and the the note in the Character Option Blog that states "players have automatic access as members of the Pathfinder Society to many of the uncommon options in this book" is not helpful as nowhere can I find which of the "many options" have automatic access, unless this statement refers to the Rarity Adjustment section of the blog, which allows characters from the High Seas access to two items, everyone access to the everyneed pack and access to the items and feats on pages 117-119. To me, this is not "many of the uncommon options." Helvellyn wrote:
Puzzle Spolier:
I ran this online yesterday. The players were really struggling with the puzzle until one of them stumbled on the numbers in the text. Unfortunately, they had three of the five translations wrong at that point. One of the ones they had wrong was the first one, which confused them because it was already in place. I was really amused when one of the overseas players said "Oh, I forgot you read from left to right!" as they discussed whether the item in place was in slot one or five. I found the Encounter Appendices annoying in that they don't reference the Area designations in the main text, just the names. Also, both the Tier 1-2 and 3-4 Appendices are missing A2 which just adds to the confusion. The description of the item found in area B3 assumes the item in area B2 was already found, but when the players approach Areas B2 and B3, they are just as likely to go to Area B3 first. I am also used to having things numbers from left to right, so the fact that Area B3 is on the left side of Area B2 on page 7 didn't help. The final encounter was definitely not what they expected, but they all said they had fun.
I like the concept of this scenario, but we will see how it runs. I have the following questions: 1. Do the PCs have to make any checks to know which villagers have which skills, or do they just know? 2. Why does the skeleton soldier on page 20 have an AC of 1? 3. The scenario says to give the PCs handout 3, which tells them there is an Urgathoan Shrine. How would they know that before they have excavated the stairs below the great hall? I think area B5 should be the structure just north of the barracks that are B4. It meets the description and would overlook the river. and it appears to have a ramp.

Some of us don't typically take chronicle sheets from the scenarios we run. I stopped a couple of years ago because I realized every GM credit I applied to a character was one less scenario I actually got to PLAY that character. Also, I currently get GM credit for scenarios I have run several times that I can't apply to a character due to the replay credit rules. So using GM chronicle sheets to track some of these items may not work well for some of us, unless there is a way to have a GM chronicle sheet not assigned to a character?

Having run two of the three sessions of Doomsday Dawn and been a player in the third, I've got the following feedback so far: 1. I am having trouble reporting the second and third sessions on the Paizo web site. When I select Pathfinder 2E playtest as the category, only the Pathfinder Society scenarios and "Doomsday Dawn Part 1: The Lost Star" show up as selections. 2. I agree with everyone who is asking for better definitions for DCs for the task like identifying monsters, magic items, etc. 3. We found a typo in the rulebook. The spell "Divine Wrath" has the standard "Successful success save for half damage, critical success save for no damage, fail save for full damage, critical fail for double damage" in the description, but never states what kind of save it is. In 1e I would have expected a Will save, but many of the similar saves in 2e are Fortitude saves. 4. I haven't had the same experience with TPKs some of the other folks have. In Part 1 I had a player done at Dying 1 a number of times, but it was mostly poison and I don't think he ever got to Dying 2. I ran Part 3 this last weekend and while I scored a number of critical hits on the players, I only had one player at Dying 1 at one point. The only reason I got that player down was a typo in the Doomsday Dawn Book (see next comment.) 5. I'll try and post this next comment as a spoiler.
Affair at Sombrefell Hall Spoiler: There seems to be a typo in Ilvoresh's statblock on page 45. I was giving him two attacks for one action, bite and claw, based on the one "Melee" entry before both of those lines in his statblock. After the game, one of the players asked about it and we looked up the "Brain Collector" in the Bestiary, and realized that there it has the "Melee Bite" and "Melee Claw" listed as separate actions. I am pretty sure there was a cut and paste error into the Ilvoresh statblock. Even taking two attacks per action for most of the fight, I was only able to drop the Paladin frontliner to Dying 1 once.
