Hi Guys I'm really sorry, but I'm going to have cancel my Subscription. It's just the eighty pounds I'm estimating I'll save from ordering the minis elsewhere is looking too vital to me at the moment. Depending on the makeup of the third set, I'll try to come back to you for it, even if only in brick form. Thanks Given the advent of Private Messaging on the site, it's finally possible to run a game of Mafia (also known as Werewolf in other places) on the site, which is what I plan to do. Mafia is a really enjoyable game, playable online and offline. There are two sides, the Mafia and the Town. The aim of the Mafia is to eliminate all the townies, whilst the aim of the townies is to eliminate the Mafia. The Mafia know their partners, but the townies need to deduce it by analysing players actions. There are two phases, the day time and the night time. During the day everyone gathers together, discusses the state of play and decides by majority vote on someone to lynch. During the night, the Mafia choose one player to kill, and some players have special powers that either give them information or counter other players. This sequence of day and night continues until either side wins. I will be using the 2of4 set-up, from the popular mafiascum.net website. This is a solid play tested set-up, that gives some variety and uncertainty in the set-up, without overwhelming players with too many complicated roles. There are nine players; two will be members of the Mafia and seven members of the town. One of the mafia will be a Goon and one will be a Role Cop. The town will have five normal Townies, and two randomly selected from the below: As a result there will be one of the below combinations in play, although this will be kept secret from the players so you can't be certain which roles are in the game.
I'll take the first nine people to sign up below, and will answer any questions that people have. Also feel free to look around the mafiascum website and wiki to see about the possibilities and read through some example games. Hi Guys I made a preorder of the RotR face cards and pawns the other day, but forgot to check the put in side cart box. Would it be possible to move them to the side cart? Also could I just check that with the new payment method I added today that all the stuff in my sidecart will go on that when they come up? Thanks Hi Guys Could you please cancel my Campain Setting, Companion and Module subscriptions. Please keep my RPG, AP and Battle Csaes subscriptions. It's not that I'm not interested in the books, but I'm now reading these lines as PDFs, and I could really do with the savings in front price & shipping by just buying the PDFs. I've presently got two items in my sidecart; the Pre painted minis set and the now released Eccardian mini. I'd like to ship Eccardian immediately, but when I choose that option in my account, it tries to move both of them, and therefore thinks that it can't go until October. Would it be possible to poke the system so the Eccardian goes out ASAP on his own, whilst the pre painted set waits to go with my October Subscription shipment? Thanks When I was reading through the Gundlinger, I found it odd that you just got the Deeds listed as a full set, and could expand it slightly by spending precious, precious feats. I thought possible word count meant that you couldn't fit in a full set of choices, ala Rogue Talents and Rage Powers, but then along comes the Ninja as the very next class, with a full list of Ninja Talents. I feel it would be good to have deeds as a selectable set of elements, in the style of Rogue Talents, with an Extra Deed feat to allow for an expanded list. The present Gunslinger seems quite restricted (character creatiion) options wise, which seems to be slightly against Pathfinder's philosophy in most other classes. It just seems to me the Rogue/Barbarian way is an excellent way to present additional small options for classes, and allow for easy expansion either in future Paizo books or in third party products. Thoughts? Suggestions? Plans for stake burnings? Could you please cancel my subscription to the Pathfinder Tales line please. I't not through any problem with it, it's just that I now have an iPad, and with all my other subscriptions it's still useful to have the hard copy for reference, but for tales I'm unlikely to read both versions so it makes more sense for me to just pick up the pdf/ePub version as it is released. I still intend to purchase all the volumes as they come out. Thanks! Today's blog post has intrigued me, and altohugh I'm not going to shell out for the collector's version of the shackled City Hardcover, I am going to pick up the regular version. However, for ease it would be best if I could get it through with my November shipment (presently just the Inner Sea Primer). Is there any way I can get this arranged, other than waiting a couple of weeks until my October shipment goes out (by which time my sanity might have returned...)? In the latest episode of the Know Directions podcast, there was an interview with Jason Bulhman. Amongst other interesting things he revealed a provisional fix to Spell Combat that I hadn't seen discussed here. They were:
What are people's thoughts? I've been wondering for a while about creation myths in the setting, both for Golarion itself, and the multiverse as a whole. I know that there's the stuff in Princes of Darkness on how the multiverse began, but let's say that the source on that seems very... partial. I was wondering if stuff had been played out elsewhere. On Golarion itself, given the approach to the Material Plane I suspect that how it actually formed is through a process similar to this, but chances are that such knowledge hasn't really developed amongst the inhabitants. Thoughts? Out of interest, do we have an estimate on When the next phase of Paizo book solicits will go out? I'm interested in seeing what will be coming past the first Quarter of next year. I notice that the Bastards of Erebus went out last October, whilst the rest emerged in March, so it seems like about a six month cycle due round about now. Note that I'm not being (too) demanding, I know that you're really busy at the mo, but I'm sure everyone here will appreciate more ideas to salivate over/arrange Kidney sales. There seems to be something weird happening with my order- I have my monthly subscription going off including the Bestiary, Seeker of Secrets and Book of the Damned. I'd noted that the Bestiary is the first element of my RPG subscription. I tried to order some PDFs tonight (the latest three undefeatable feat sets and KQ 11). In my cart there was still the rpg subscription for some reason, and it wouldfn't removed. I made the order anyway, and now in my orders I have: 1217623 Today
1281826 Today
No mention of the Bestiary, and the two companions duplicated! The PDFs for the evening order are in my My Downloads Please can I have help sorting this out, I would like the Bestiary and two comapnions sent out asap and the screen reattached to the November Subscription if that's possible (It seems to have moved out of the preview list that it was on I've just received my packing e-mail for this order, containing Pathfinder #25. However, I was expecting the Cheliax Companion to be included with this, but it appears to have been pushed back to go with #26. This might be because 25 is my first issue in the subscription. I expect it'll be a lot of hassle to re-jig my order now, and I don't mind waiting, but I'd just thought I'd highlight this in case it's a problem that's going to roll on. Thanks Is it possible to hold this order for a couple of days? I've been waiting for stuff from Order #1173129, and it seemed to be overdue, so you've kindly added replacement stuff to this order. When I got home today, I found that the Royal Mail had tried to deliver a parcel. It's possible it's something else, but it's also possible that it's Order #1173129 finally making it. It'll be at least Wednesday morning until I can get to the sorting office to pick it up and check, so to avoid you having the inconvenience of sending out the second copies, and me the inconvenience of sending them back, would it be possible to hold it? Sorry for all the messing about. Thanks I'm still waiting for this order to arrive, and there's about a week until it's formally overdue, however today I received my next order, #1181751‏. This much more closely matches the time it normally takes for orders from you to arrive. I was wondering if there was anything I could do about the earlier order? Since nobody seems to have started discussing it, What do people think of the Bonus Bestiary released today for free RPG day? Going through it: Using the Bestiary; a page and a half of various rules (the other half page is the OGL) - Covers CMB/CMD, posions and diseases, and a number of monster universal rules, including construct plant and undead traits, grab, trip, rake, pounce and trample. Disarm, sunder and trip take an attack action, bullrush and overrun as part of a move and grapple as a Standard action. Agile maneuvers is mentioned, and all Tiny or smaller creatures use Dex. All bonuses and penalties on an attack roll apply to CMB. CMD is 10+Str+Dex+BAB+Size+(all AC modifiers except armour, nat armour, shield and size), so effectively CMB + touch AC. Diseases and posions are similar, with each having the attack it comes from, a DC that applies to for contracting them, avoiding repeat damage and for the level check for remove disease or similar. Frequency is split between onset delay and continuing period, and posions will tend to have a number of times they affect you. Effect is what it does, and there's a cure entry for how many save you need to make in a row to avoid it. Monster rules are interesting, all of them end with a line showing their format (so say 'trample (2d6+9, DC 20)') and their location on the stat block. things that jump out; mind affecting effects are broken down into five; charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns and morale. Undead are imunne to ability drain, but only immune to ability damage on their physical stats. The thirteen monsters are: Allip
All creatures have XP values by their CRs, and an entry in Ecology for Treasure Value. These are given as a number of GPs or none, and some have notes (ie the Axe Beak favours 'shiny things'). There are also a number of notes after the descriptive text. There are rules for training an Axe Beak, and rules for taking one as a Animal Companion. These seem to involve it having lowered stats at first level, and advancing to full at 4th. Construction guidlelines are in the Column, Familiar rules under the Faerie Dragon, Animal Companion rules that also require Leadership for the Dragonne, Advice on creating a Huecuva, Shadow Mastiff summoning guidelines and 'Nixies in Mythology', which give extra abilities and a much darker view of the Nixie to better fit with the dark view of many Fae in traditional mythology. For this last one Thank You Paizo! Hit dice have also changed, it would seem so that they match BAB: Undead: d8, Cha*level bonus
To avoid getting the Legacy of Fire Map set that is next in my Pathfinder Chronicles Subscription I believe that I have to cancel my subscription to that? If so, then would it be possible to have it cancelled, just so I can skip over the maps. I'm not interested in Legacy of Fire, so won't need the maps. If there is a way just to skip over it, then that would be even better! |
