No mention of an Oracle class deck so far.

In fact, not all the same classes from RotR are represented, only the base set 7: Bard, Cleric, Fighter, Rander, Rogue, Sorcerer, Wizard. We're expecting that the Barbarian, Druid, Monk and Paladin decks will be announced next some time.

My theoretical comment was more about the fact that if the decks are successful, they'll likely continue on expanding

Note that although Alahazra is a flame Oracle, it should be noted that Seoni as stated is an arcane Sorcerer, but has celestial and abberant bloodline rolecards. I'd guess Alahazra will have role cards for two different mysteries, and the theoretically coming Oracle class deck will cover other mysteries.

If you have all first printings, you should try to get a first printing of deck six. Although there are variations on the back printings, that's been true for all first printing decks, so if you're not noticing it on your present stuff, you shouldn't have a problem with this deck.

If you're not able to find a first printing, it shouldn't matter massively. I've received a second printing of Spires, opposed to my first printing of everything else. The tab is a bit longer, but doesn't affect closing the box. At present I haven't used any of the sixth deck in anger, and I (clear) sleeve all my cards, but my initial checks don't seem to have allowed me to track the differences.

I'm glad someone mentioned it 'cuz I'd forgotten: in the PFS room, it felt awfully crowded only because there were soooo many chairs. Each table had 9 or 10 usually, when we really only need 6 or 7 for PFS. Oftimes, we ended up stacking them in the corner to make room, but it would be really nice if the hotel set the room up this way to begin with. A few extra chairs along the walls, if needed, but otherwise 7 at each table is enough.

Oh, and I was disappointed about one thing from the banquet: I heard that the previous 2 years, those who bought tickets for it got early access to the Paizo Game Space. No mention of that at all this year, though. That made me a sad panda.

If I remember correctly from lasst year, the extra chairs were in place to cover the Banquet, which needed sufficent chairs to be in place to maximise the peopel in there.

As for Gamespace, I believe that the fact that it was covered at last banquet (the year before was a case of "we've got this developing, we'll need you to test " and it taking a year to get to that testing bit) was due to the amount of beta testers that they though reasonable.

However, check your PMs!

You should also consider that between 3.5 and Pathfinder most every race got a +2 boost to their modifiers, which will be why the options are struggling to get you that 3.5 array.

I also just realised there is only 19 to go and we haven't see any large rares. If it's anything like the previous set that means 4 more medium rares at least and 4 large. Given how good the uncommons look I can't wait to see these rares.

It also means we may see the set by the end of August? Not released until November, so heres; hoping there are some other releases to "fill" the time between now and the release of this set.

These previews will also see me order 2 cases again - assuming I can do that since the capability doesn't appear to exist at the moment.

I've noted that Erik has subtly renamed this series 'Friday publisher Preview', rather than it's previous minis preview. Presumably this is to justify adding things other than PFB to it - we've already had the minimates, and I suspect around Gencon there will be a break from Lost Coast to get other things previewed

The "players of the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild can gain rewards that cross over into RPG play" part seems to be some kind of way the RPG organized play can interact with the card game organized play. Perhaps they will be benefits that if you complete a certain scenario of the card game, your character in the RPG Pathfinder Society will get some kind of reward...

In PFS, you can gain boons and apply them to your character. For example, my character has a quest to find his missing mentor, who when I find him, will give me a small bonus, and a boost from being associated with Shoanti clan. I suspect the above will be a special boon earned for playing enough PACGAG scenarioes.

The reason that the Sea Devils are called that and not their bestiary name is to do with where Paizo gets their authorisation to use those names.

Paizo can use those name only through the OGL. One of the clauses of the OGL is that it needs to be in anything that uses it. Depending on your interpretation, that would mean it would either have to be on the mini box, or even on the mini itself.

However, your idea for an index is really good

Although Paizo's customer service will be able to help you, their first advice will be to contact the customer service or equivalent of where you bought the beginner box, who should be able to exchange it.

This is an uncommon, but not unheard of printing error. Books are printed 16 pages to a sheet, and then those 16 pages are folded, cut & bound together. Sometimes the bound blocks are missorted by the machine, leading to a book like your heroes handbook.

Almost certainly not. wizards hold the copyright on them, so Paizo can't compile them like they did with Shackled City, or reprint the issues. Since some of the issues are sold out, they can't do a print bundle either

I say this not just from my own point of view, but also my wife's—who is not as invested as I am. She was interested and entertained which indicates to me the balance was perfect.

I am hoping the new hotel has better food options (primarily price, I didn't have any bad meals at the hotel). This was not a problem for me this year because I drove and went off-site for some meals.. But I feel bad for the attendees who fly in and sometimes don't have a choice. I am optimistic though! This can only get better.

Fromm what I remember from last year/google mapping the new location the doubletree is closer to other food options. I suspect the Double Tree's resteraunts will be just as expensive (certainly the breakfast, which is the only menu giving prices), but being close toothed places (I can see a Denny's, Taco Bell & a few other resteraunts by there, and can also remember a Subway in that direction)

Yes, it's the display error that's always caused by the order spawn. One part of the system say 'July subscription orders have been created' whilst another part says 'you do not have a July order', which means it shifts your July order into August. It will correct once your order is generated.

If I had my preference this or the People of the Stars book would drop in July so I can spread out my spending and give me another taste of what Iron Gods is going to be like. I do want this. I am planning to make a campaign based in part on inspirations of Spelljammer and Eberron in D&D and for other media a lot of the 80s cartoons like Thundarr, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, He-Man, Spiral Zone and Thundercats among other series.

If it's a question of budgeting, buy a gift certificate this month. You will be able to apply the credit to your August order.

The arcane bond is one spell from your book, chosen at the point of casting. It won't be part of your list for 1st level spells, as it's not one you need to memorise in the morning.

The 3 are your Base +int bonus, the 1 is your speciality. If you look at the Wizard tab, there will be the arcane bond feature, which is where the fifth spell 'sits'.

Reprints/special sets of iconic has been discussed a few times. The problem is that the existing iconics have been fetching quite a high price on the secondary market (including through sales here on Paizo), which means that Paizo are loath to just do an exact reprint, with the ire for the reduced cost that the new printing would come through on (plus the fact that there are several minis in each mold, so they would be reissuing some other minis of a similar rarity.

This means that the only options are repaints (difficult because of the established look of the iconics - Seoni with a blue dress isn't really Seoni) or resculpts (very expensive).

Rescuplts are the only realistic possibilities, and even those are unlikely to come about.

They won't reserve items to meet people's order, other than the subscriptions. It's due to limitations on the mount of stuff they are going to ship half the continent to Indianopolis. Although they'll have lots of class decks with them, they're unlikely to have that random, ten year old mini that you put in to your side cart. Defining where the line between those things is really hard, so it's easiest to define it on the subscription/non subscription line

Enfeeblement & then drain doesn't go to zero - enfeeblement's cannot go below 1 condition stays active, so it would just reduce the amount of the penalty from enfeeblement's you actually have affecting you.

    1. It will be based on existing AP, just for the art budget's sake.

    2. It is unlikely to be Iron Gods, and also probably not Mummy's Mask. Paizo have tried coexistant development between AP & another line with minis, and they were a bit frustrated with the results. Also, it would mean revealing encounters in Iron Gods to the playtesters before the books are available.

If the character from the class deck will work well with the cards in the adventure path, you don't have to add the class deck boons in to the adventure path. But if the character will rely on a certain boon not in the class deck (for example, one of the Rogues appears to use poisons, so there might be some poison boons in that class deck), then mix in the needed boons.

I doubt Paizo will announce at this point when or which classes they will release. So you know you'll need 1200 for for the next 2 adventure paths. And 700 for the 7 class decks. Beyond that, you will probably have to take your best bet. If you think they will release more class decks in the next year, then buy some more sleeves. If you think they won't, then don't. But there is really no way to know.

Well, VIC could help me out here and could determine the number X of sleeves i have to add to the below calculation:

    2 x adventure paths = 2 x 1200 (Plus 200 to be safe)
    7 x class decks = 7x 100
HOW MANY X sleeves do I need in addition ?

My guess would be that in february 2015 SEVEN more class decks will be released...
Please VIC just say a number what X will be, you do not have to go into details why I will need so many...

    Please... Thanks a LOT

It's very possible, 8 months out from release, that they don't know for certain how many decks they will be releasing - they may well be waiting until they can see initial sales on this batch go before determining how many to sell.

I'm also pretty certain they're not going to announce their plans in a random messageboard thread.
