Your grandfather got to thinking about your comment about Typhoid Mary Mallon. It occurred to him that there is at least one more infamous Mallon – a Kevin Mallon – who took part in the first successful helicopter prison break over in Ireland several years ago. Makes my heart swell with pride!
I had to dig further, and found the following information:
In 1971, IRA operatives Kevin Mallon and J.B. O'Hagan, as well as IRA Chief of Staff Seamus Twomey were incarcerated at Mountjoy Prison under suspicion of terrorism. Two years later, a group of IRA operatives (accompanied by an unknown man, possibly an American CIA agent) stole a helicopter and broke them out. After the breakout from Mountjoy, Kevin Mallon was arrested, imprisoned, and escaped at least two more times from two different prisons. A band called The Wolfe Tones wrote a song about the incident in 1973.
So, along with mad scientists, mobsters, mythical demon-blooded giants, prehistoric Irish cave-dwellers, rebels, and passive disease carriers, my lineage now includes terrorists. Positively Lovecraftian, that.
Nice. I do the research on my family history. Had a relative show up in the 1870 prison records from WV State Pen. Never looked up why. Had another that was in Buffalo Bill's Traveling Show, and yet another branch snipped off too early when a young married couple was heading west and killed by a drunken indian.
Family members are always looking for rich, famous, or notorious relatives.
My thoughts and prayers as well. God bless.

Evil thoughts directed towards my boss. ARRGGHHHH!
I hate being chastised because she didn't communicate something by a deadline ON HER PROJECT! If you want me to get something done, simply tell me and I'll get it done. But don't berate me when you screw up. Kinda diminishes my desire to try to help fix it. /rant off

That's a lot to take in for anyone. :( Thoughts and prayers for her would be greatly appreciated. Done, and will continue.

It is duct tape. For sealing ducts. No pet peeves. We're weighing gerbils vs puppies vs. glow-in-the-dark kittens. Guess which one is in the lead?

But where do they sell purple kitties? ;P We just have to find a way to get one of those glow in the dark kitties. Then they could write it off as a security device! Brilliant!
They could name it Wisp.

So, antibiotics for the ear, and breathing treatments for the RSV.
Oh joy.
Hopefully the breathing treatments don't cause too much hyperactivity, and it will simply be caused by him feeling better.

I have no frakkin' idea what to get for my wife. Methinks I spoil her too much throughout the year if she doesn't want anything for Christmas.

I wish I would have been offered this earlier, but it's a very good offer.
What do you guys think?
If you have the discipline for it - I think it's awesome. I have a few friends working IT from home (one for The Hartford and the other for Amazon) and they both absolutely love it. Thanks. When I mentioned it to my wife, she wasn't really happy with the timing (I agree, since I already basically set up the apartment in Charlotte).
Tell her you'll do housework on your breaks!

Yep, "Ma'am" is the correct form of address. "Colonel <lastname>" is also acceptable.
Good luck to your daughter!
Thanks!

I used to have lots of dreams about my teeth and cracking into pieces or falling out of my mouth. Those dreams were not cool. ::shudders::
I also had a lot of dreams where I was a murderer or a suspected murderer and running from the police. The dreams were always about running from the police, not about the murder. as a little kid I often dreamed about a giant fox chacing me, I blame a very horrible picture book about a fox catching young goose
as a teen these dreams changed to werewolves I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what my dream meant... [Star Trek]Too much LDS in the 60s? ;P[/Star Trek]

Well I think the wild animals comes from all of the critters let out from that guy who committed suicide. It was along a highway and lions and tigers and such were eating each other but decided I looked tastier. But a shovel?? man I needed more sleep.
