Ugh! The water is out in the building I work in. Now, if I want to use the head, I've got to go across the street. And, to make matters worse, some folks used the head before realizing that the water was cut off. Ewww.....
Water out = shut down building. By code. They should be getting ready to send you home.
This place? Send us home? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.....
Oh wait! You were serious?
Yep. Health code requires running water for restrooms. Restrooms are required for businesses. Short interruptions are OK but not extended ones.

Very Very Very Very AWESOMTASTIC NEWS. Both Solnes and I said so. :)
Yep, but you get the bonus of seeing her jump up and down with glee. :)

I'm guessing part 5. It doesn't work very well as written. The rest of the path I thought was great.
We've already finished LoF and we enjoyed it immensely. The DM rewrote parts to make it harder (we tend to be power gamers and there were nights when 6 players showed up).
The hardest part for us was the 5th book as it had been a while since we'd been able to resuply. It took 5 very long sessions for us to finish that book which about double our normal 2 or 3.
We really had some trouble with the BBEG at the end of the path. The DM was very clever with his tactics and it was only some quick thinking by our dwarf that prevented his escape.
I'm interested in what your DM did. I've just started LoF with 8-10 players. Ugh! And throw a couple power gamers in the mix and it's gets more challenging for me. I've increased basic treasure (money) but I'm reluctant to add too many items as the group is overpowering the low level stuff.
I'm going to spend some time enhancing things but GMing for a large group like this is a pain in the patootie!
BUT.....the group was grumbling about playing 1st level but have loved the story so far! Pugwampis FTW!

Is it possible to easily change party members inside of a region, or do you have to go to the world map? I apologize if I'm too dense to find it. I tend to just start playing and learn the commands as I go.
The answer is... sometimes. 90% of the time, you have to go out to the party camp on the world map to change party members, but in some villages/cities where there is no combat element, you can switch party members freely. I'm playing the PC version myself, but I have no reason to believe the Xbox would be any different in this regard.
You can indeed. It seems that in civilized areas, once you handle the problems in those regions, you can swap out party combinations on the fly. The option on the Xbox version to do this is accessed via the radial menu using the left trigger.
And yeah... this game is super awesome. It's pretty much taken over almost everyone on the ground floor of Paizo, in fact (the majority of the art and editorial staff). Good times.
EDIT: My favored party combo = me (two-weapon elf rogue), Alistair, Morrigan, and Lelianna.
Thx. With Redcliff Village done I'm bringing Alistair back into the party in place of Sten, since I keep disappointing him. Though it's funny to listen to Lelianna pester him.

I looked at the multi-classing section of PHB and I can't find anywhere that it says you cannot take the same class more than once.
I'm a Cleric3/Cleric3. Want to see my prayer beads? For Cleric6?
Or Sorc3/Arcane and Sorc3/Draconic?
munchkin alert on that thread.

I'm running low on Girl Scout cookies :(
I'll have to find one of those tables at the mall or outside the grocery store where I can buy more.
Around January, I can sell you a bunch. My daughter is a girl scout, and my wife is the "cookie mom".
Shipping might be a problem...
How much to ship to NY? Cuz' I love me those peanut butter ones. I think the wife loves hopscotch? Or those ones with coconut in them or on them? Either way, January. Yeah. Cookies.
Samoas? Chocolate and coconut. Yumm.

Sorry if you're having another bad day. (hugs)
Firstly the girl who is supposed to be closing the shop tomorrow night calls this morning and tells me she can't do it so I have to go in on my day off to do it.
The tonight the guy that can do Open (other than the new girl I've just finished training) informs me that he is quitting effective immediately and so I also have to go in on Monday (once again on my day off) to do his shift starting at 6am. Of course this is also the day when I am supposed to be minding my kids all day.
But not only that, but now that he has left I am back to being short staffed once more and so work is going to be harder and crappier because of it.
That really sux. Sorry.

Anybody know, or what to know the origin of "knock on wood"?
Is it dirty?
Nope.
Is it connected to the term 'graveyard shift' and the bell strings they connected to coffins?
Nope. Do you want a 3rd guess? B/c Taig wants to know.
No 3rd guess. Enlighten us, o'Green Man.

The roller coaster continues for Tracy and her family -
Update from Mom "Tracy had a rough day today. Steroids saved her life, but they come with a cost. We are very tired. She is weak and discouraged. Thankfully, there is an end in sight. Her #'s keep improving. She has to push herself so hard, though, to do such basic things. We really need to focus on the physical therapy and get her up and moving a bit. If you could keep those prayers coming a bit longer! God bless!"
Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
I'm glad she is getting better. We will keep praying for her.
+1 Keep the faith bro!
Will do. I'm staggered by the number of people I know that need prayers. You guys in your job searches, those with emotional items, and a HUGE number of people with major health issues. I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and wish I could do more.

Glee.
I hear this odd thunking sound as I finish the last mile of my drive to work. I get to the office and park, and discover a lovely hex bolt jammed to the hilt in one of my tires. I'm now waiting for the phone call from the tire place nearby telling me I have to get a new tire. And the federal holiday this week bumped our paychecks to next week instead of today....
YAY.
[Sigh]I guess all I can do is laugh about it. Happy Friday all... ;P
[EDIT]: I stand corrected - I need all of my tires replaced. And I have to cough up a kidney to replace just the one for right now.
Joyous....scratching off 'laughing' as an option for the next hour....
Suck city. My son picked up a bolt the other week but we got lucky and it was repairable. Plus we had bought the tires at Sam's Club so the repair was free.
Of course, he was 'too busy' to put on the spare and get it fixed himself. I woulda left it alone but the wife gave me one of 'those stares'.

Ok folks I am sorry I have missed you all again today, hope you all had a good night and a good morning, hopefully I will get to talk some tomorrow.
Going to bed now, my nap wasn't a very good one...as when I did sleep I had weird dreams of the SoFaWtL peeps. :\
Its scary when you picture/dream of talking trees, werewolfs, camping lepers, and a cowardly dragon, throw in a badger and a drow man....and well, lets say I didn't sleep well. :)
Like Alice In Wonderland on a badddddd trip!!!
Nice to know when you're dreaming about wood you let me talk a little, even if you're scared by it. ;)
You and Mairk both spoke...alot! :)
Mairk was like this floating talking leaf that follwed me around giving advice. :)
Any good stock tips in his advice? I mean, he is the Green Man for a reason.

No actually, just the stuff that wasn't his.
Uhm, he offered to help, but he isn't strong enough, it takes some real strength to get it off. :\
I am trying to decide how to punish.
At least make him sit and watch you work hard to clean up. Then he'll see what he put you thru.
