Able to cloud his mind to hidden information, in turns, while playtesting a multi-player game alone.
Marginally less flat when it is cold, which is a majority of the year.
Brian's earliest memory of fantasy role playing comes from a time when he was too young to confidently differentiate dreams from reality. The little boy unwillingly engaged in his first dungeon crawl after some kind of mad scientist/evil hag turned the family laundry room into her underground lair, complete with dirt walls of dangling roots, a bubbling cauldron, and assorted lab equipment. He didn't yet know what a Gygax was, but he sure wasn't going to tempt the dangers of such an unhallowed place. He awoke soon after retreating from the transmogrofied enclosure and permitted himself a prudent moment of reflection before venturing down the stairs to determine the actual state of the room.
To this day, he recalls a striking image of the room as it appeared within his young unconscious mind.
