Just want to give you a heads up that my posting will be limited from this wednesday to the next wednesday. My wife and I are going to be in Hawaii for our anniversary. I'll try to post, but don't hesitate to DMPC me if I can't respond. I will be following along, but whatever I do post will be succinct. Thanks!
It's all fine. It's just that my computer usage on "gaming websites" got me flagged by the IT's at work about three weeks ago. Since then I have to wait to make long posts until after the work day. During the morning/afternoon I have to post via my phone. I'm adapting. Sorry about the slow-down and shorter posts. Honestly the hardest part has been accessing google-docs to lay down spell effects.

Nicoleta! The introverted scholar snaps, stepping forward. You told him that he would not be hurt if you don't try to hurt us. He has told us what we have asked. I'll defend myself, and I'll defend others, but you gave your word! I won't be party of murder. Scowling, a hard light comes into the half-elf's eyes. I saw plenty of Pathfinders when I worked in Absalom. Some were no better then thief's and murderers. If you kill him now, then you will be just who he says you are. Until now you said that you had only killed to protect travels along the roads. Please.. . don't be that person. We can leave him with a dagger just out of reach and tied to a tree. It would take him hours before he was free. Think!
Somberly nodding at Nicoleta's request Elsir returns to the ulat-kini still keeping a respectfully safe distance. What is your name? Elsir asks quietly easing into the conversation. I don't know if you believe me. Or understand everything I say, but we don't want to hurt you. My people do not know your people. We do not know your customs. She. Elsir points towards Nicoleta, said that she has killed your people, but only when they attacked first. She could have killed you before and did not. This is important. We do not want to fight your tribe, and we do not know of your shrines and sacred places. Can you tell me more about them? How we can avoid them so we do not offend your tribe?
Stepping away from the Skum so that his companions can near him better and that their prisoner can't listen in. Elsir quietly addresses them. The Skum feels that we have enroached on their holy lands. His term for it was "the ancient grounds of my people". He also thinks that we have come to make war on his tribe. Apparently he particularly fears you Nicoleta. He claims you have killed dozens of his people. He is afraid, and thinks we want kill all of his people or drive them from their "shrines". He also stated that he will kill us all "this" time. Looking at each of his team in turn Elsir sighs. I have roughly half of a hour remaining on my spell, and I'm open to suggestions on how best to proceed. I'll be honest when I say that my area of expertise is not in diplomacy and negotiation.
Pursing his lips in thought, Elair taps the stylus he was holding before folding it into his travel journal and putting it back into his satchel. Species can evolve overtime based on its biological needs. It's extremely unlikely this creature was anything more then a scout, but odder things have been known to occur.
Reaching back into his Haversack Elsir withdraws a scroll. I am going to cast a spell.
Cast: Comprehend Language
After the spell is complete Elsir slowly approaches the creature so that he can be better understood, however he will still remain further then arms reach away just to be safe.
Dismissing his spells Elsir moves forward towards Nicoleta. Quite remarkable he murmurs to himself. I wonder were he learned our language from. filing away that thought away for later, Elsir regards his other party members while giving a thoughtful glance to their prisoner. Does anyone have a theory as to our friend here. He seemed decidedly less hostile then our previous encounters with them.
Muttering under his breath something about a lack of forsight Elsir moves to get a better view of the fleeing ulat-kini Move action: will update google docs with Elsir moving to get a clear line of sight. Sighting the fleeing creature though the underbrush Elsir weaves his hands in an arcane gesture while calling out words of power. Standard Action: cast Create Pit DC:16 You must create the pit on a horizontal surface of sufficient size. Since it extends into another dimension, the pit has no weight and does not otherwise displace the original underlying material. You can create the pit in the deck of a ship as easily as in a dungeon floor or the ground of a forest. Any creature standing in the area where you first conjured the pit must make a Reflex saving throw to avoid falling into it. In addition, the edges of the pit are sloped, and any creature ending its turn on a square adjacent to the pit must make a Reflex saving throw with a +2 bonus to avoid falling into it. Creatures subjected to an effect intended to push them into the pit (such as bull rush) do not get a saving throw to avoid falling in if they are affected by the pushing effect. Creatures who fall into the pit take falling damage as normal. The pit's coarse stone walls have a Climb DC of 25. When the duration of the spell ends, creatures within the hole rise up with the bottom of the pit until they are standing on the surface over the course of a single round.

Seeing the potential for the Skum scout to escape Elsir wiggles his fingers and conjures a blob of grease to fly from his fingers coating the ground around the Skum with a dark oily sheen.
Grease on the ground around Skum DC15
Oof! As Elsir is rudely kicked away he props himself up with one hand while looking around bleary eyed. Wha, more? Pushing himself to his feet he groggily looks around while taking no overtly hostile action. perception. Just a few days here and I have been nearly killed almost four times. Randall Was right, this place may very well be the death of me. Well, does anyone know what language they speak? It has not attacked yet so either it is waiting for others before it does, or it is curious about us and wishes to learn more.

Ojore Elsir hisses as he slowly skirts away from the beasts. I think the beasts are dimetrodons. I saw a reference to them once. I'm not sure however if they are grazers or predators. Are their teeth pointed? It should give you a clue as to their nature.
With slow steady movements Elsir silently directs the group to continue moving down the path. There's several extremely large reptiles up ahead. I believe that Ojore is attempting to calm them while we pass. Please continue to move along and make no threatening gestures.
Yea Ojore, I mentioned at camp I was ok with selling them, but I think they got missed. If we did sell them then I could keep cranking out scrolls in the mean time. Otherwise, I'll hold onto it for now. I think the Brooch of Shielding was the real find.
Slowing his pace, Elsir begins to slowly move towards Ojore, making no threatening movements. "Ojore, do you recognize those beasts?' Elsir whispers leaning in towards the Mwagani guide.
Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
It looks like it got missed, but Elsir was ok with selling the bracers of armor. Can we back date that to have occurred in camp with profits split amongst the party and the emergency fund?
I did the math and I only had enough gold for 1 flask of holy water. Change reflected on sheet.
Cantrips: Read Magic, Detect Magic, Prestidigitation, Ghost Sound 1st: Mage Armor, Grease, Silent Image, Burning Hands 2nd: Glitterdust, Invisibility, Create Pit
Dabbing his forehead with his perpetually clean hanky, Elsir follows behind Ojore, practicing his grasp of Mwangi dialectic with the muscular guide. During breaks and meals he will studiously withdraw from his Handy Haversack a quill and parchment and spend what little free time he has working towards transcribing one of his arcane equations to vellum. I'll be creating a scroll of Burning Hands during my down time. While marching Elsir will keep a sharp eye about the path, having quickly deduced that his vision seems to be superior to the rest of his companions.

Excellent Mr. Tornglass. In that case I will purchase the scrolls of Burning Gaze and Burning Hands. And forgive me for commenting, but I notice that your glasses are broken? I have a spell that might be able to mend them if you would like me to do so?
Ok, so we are looking at 3 days for me to do all of the crafting necessary for gear. I'll go ahead and order snapdragon fireworks and infernal healing, and buy Burning Gaze and Burning Hands, scribing them to his spell book for a total of 225g, leaving him with 541g. I am also ok with selling the Bracer of Armor.
Walking into Master Torneglass's supply tent, Elsir delicately dabs the sweat off his forehead with a perpetually clean hankie. Ah, hello my good man. Captain Dandle directed me to your fine cough establishment. I have a list of several scrolls I am hoping that you have on hand. I have written a list for you. Please let me know if you have anything on hand. And for the more rare scrolls how long you estimate it would take for arrival. Much thanks! Leaving the scroll on the table Elsir leaves Master Torneglass and Mr. Thunderstrike to their discussion.
A list of marvelous magical incantations
Elsir will need one day per Cloak of Resistance +1 He can auto pass his Spellcraft check to create the items. So I think three days total for him to make some extra scrolls, and create two Cloak's of Resistance.
Did you all want a wand of Lesser Infernal Healing? I also agree with Nesipho about the group split. GT: can I buy spells here as well?
Right then Captain, if you show me your maps I'll be happy to mark on there the location where we found the waystone at. Also sir, if you have access to any arcane spell scrolls, I would like to take a look at them."
If you guys want me to craft some minor wonderous items for the group. I can do that while we are in camp.
Nodding in agreement with his companions Elsir addresses the Captain. "Sir, despite being gone a short time I think we still have some valuable information to provide. During our initial foray we were able to locate what could be a very important archeological find. I took the time to notate in on our map, however the area has become overrun with ettercaps and giant spiders. It became quite clear to us that we needed to report back and restock on supplies such as wands, anti-venom and other consumables, else we die from poison or the god's know what else."
"Really, this is all simply remarkable! Ojore, my good man! If not for you I'm not sure how this all would have turned out." Dabbing his forhead with a damp hankie Elsir gestures at the carnage around him. "But my friends the hour is growing late and we should be off."
I though GT was keeping track of our XP, but I guess not
With slow retreating steps Elsir moves away from Ojore and the leopard. Once he can no longer hear the muted converation between Ojore and the rescued leopard Elsir turns to the group. Ojore asked us to give him a little room. Apperently the creature is wary of our presence. Then once Elsir has made sure that the rest of the party is not crouding Ojore, Elsir retrives from his satchel a pad of paper and an inkpen. With deft sure strokes, Elsir begins to record the events of the last battle, with a particular note of the creatures encounted and any general observations for future pathfinders.
Doing his best to follow along in the conversation between the leopard creature and Ojore, Elsir study's the creatures more closely.
Knowledge (arcana) 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
In quiet voice so as not to fighting the anthropomorphic leopard Elsir wispers to Ojore. "I say Ojore, have you learned anything of interest from our friend here? I still have that spell that allows for understanding another creatures langauge if you need it."
"Lets have done with it already" Elsir calls in a cool academic voice. "It feels like the last fifteen seconds have taken days and I have nearly forgotten what we are doing out here!" Chuckling Elsir turns back and continues to study the exchange between the cat-person and Ojore.
"It seems clear that the beast has chosen to do as it will Ojore. Perhaps your feline friend will be able to provide some details as to what happened. It's fair to say that we have offered it more mercy than it would have of us."
Can someone talk to it? Ojore asks?
""Not perfectly Ojore. I do have the means to be able to comprehend whatever the creature speaks for about thirty minutes, but the spell does not impart upon me the ability to use its language, merely understand what it is saying. I can cast it if you like, but without the ability to speak to the creature, I am unsure how effective it would be."
Well that's a shame, I really would have prefered a more optimal placement, but time to be useful I suppose.
Elsir will take a 5' south to Z22, seeing the Skum at AB23, Elsir will cast Create Pit DC16 Reflex
Noticing the egregious damage that has already been done by Nicoleta, Elsir mentally reevaluates her threat index for future calculations. "Kargath, if yours is still alive feel free to throw him into this pit, otherwise our friend should be joining us in roughly twenty four seconds."
