Adding Spells to a Sorcerer's or Bard's Repertoire: A sorcerer or bard gains spells each time she attains a new level in her class and never gains spells any other way. When your sorcerer or bard gains a new level, consult Table: Bard Spells Known or Table: Sorcerer Spells Known to learn how many spells from the appropriate spell list she now knows. With permission from the GM, sorcerers and bards can also select the spells they gain from new and unusual spells that they come across while adventuring.
I told my Gnome Sorcerer that if he invests time and story that he could learn Cure spells from a Cleric. Bastardize some form of arcane form that he derived from studying the flow of magic. Especially because the party has no healer and goes through potions like crazy.

Well this might be a bad time to bring this up, but I have to drop out for the rest of the month. I am setting up our yearly haunted house over the course of the next few weeks. It's part of the PTA, and I play a huge role in preparation, planning, construction, and acting. So regrettable I will have no time to spare till November. I hope you guys have fun without me, and thanks for making my first PFS a blast.

Okay then Elross glares at the only remaining adversary and pulls the short spear from his back. Taking time to wait for an opening, he chucks the spear at the crazed caster.
But as the spear flies down the alleyway, skipping into the adjacent street, a defeated look contorts Elross' face. Falling to his knees, he stares at his hands blankly It's as if I've never fought a day in my life, he thinks to himself.

Succumbing to the fact that his axe is completely useless, Elross drops it to the cobblestones (free action) and lunges onto the cleric in an attempt to subdue her.
With a gurgle and a confused expression, Elross drifts into the embracing arms of Erastil (who then procedes to strangle Elross for his poor performance).

Not willing to be shown up by an archer, Elross heaves his axe toward the spell casting wench.
Melee Attack (that better hit this time >.<): 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 16
Cursing:
Mother *bleep*, God *bleep*, you stupid son of a *bleep*! Why don't you roll a God *bleep* number high enough to *bleep* hit this stupid *bleep*!?!?!?! *Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeep*!

Furious that none of his swings have connected, Elross drops his shield (move action) and, gripping his axe with both hands, swings at the woman who stepped in front of him.

"Well if no one has any other ideas," Elross says, heading for the sails, "Cedrick and Simon come give me a hand with this sail. Start climbing Aesantiel."
Fighter 1 - HP 13/13 (anything Dex related lowered by 1 modifier point)
"Maybe we could use some of this sail material to cover the hole around it," Elross suggests, "and then lay these boards across the sails to weigh them down. That way in case something happens the create won't drop into the water."

Elross gives Cedrick a glance and jokes, "Probably don't need to announce ouselves and knock this time, eh?" With that, he kicks the door with all his might.
Strength Check:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
The door (probably) rattles back and forth behind Elross' kick but does not open. Sheepishly glancing back to Cedrick, he lets out an embarrased sigh. "Let's try this then," Elross says lifting his axe from the ring at his waist.

Agreeing with Simon, Elross adds, "He says he works with the Sczarni from Varisia and if he's anything like them, we could be walking into a bad situation. I've had some rough run ins with the Sczarni in Sandpoint that didn't end all to well. Keep on your toes and watch your back with these folk." Suspision fills Elross' mind, but duty tells him to focus on the task at hand.

Elross glances around looking for the halfling, but fails to spot him through the crowd. I really need to keep my whits about me, he thought to himself, that halfling should stand out like a a sore thumb.
-----
Walking into The Pickled Imp, Elross sneers at the musty stench within the building. As the Varisian man approaches them, a homesick feeling comes over him. It has been so long since I've seen someone from home, he thinks to himself. After listening to Guaril's problem though, Elross' thoughts change quickly. This sounds a lot like how the Sczarni move their illegal shipments back in Varisia, he remembers.

Walking past Aesantiel, Elross grabs the silver letter opener. "I'll be taking that back," he says coyingly to her with a wink. Sheathing it on his belt, be follows the group.

Heal 1 point of damage, take four, current HP 9
Fortitude Save:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Elross hefts his shield and attempts to smack the imp (standard action), keeping the case behind his back. He then makes a dash for the door (move action).
Fighter 1 - HP 13/13 (anything Dex related lowered by 1 modifier point)
Looking around the room, Elross analyzes the situation. Simon is the only one that can heal Aesantiel, he realizes, but he's got that damn case. Sheathing the dagger into his belt (move action), Elross takes the case from Simon and moves away from the group (double move action). "Get Aesantiel out of here," he tells Simon and Cedrick while holding the case behind his back against the wall. Holding his shield in front of himself, Elross scans the room for any movement.
Fighter 1 - HP 13/13 (anything Dex related lowered by 1 modifier point)
Hate to be the rule Nazi, but the imp should have had a -2 to that attack since he's shaken. Now I'm not 100% on this one but since Aesantiel jumped to grab the case, shouldn't she get another acrobatics check DC15 to ignore the first 10 feet fallen?
Fighter 1 - HP 13/13 (anything Dex related lowered by 1 modifier point)
Holding his shield and the letter opener ready, Elross waits to see if Aesantiel's idea works.
Hold action until after Aesantiel attempts her dirty trick.
After Aesantiel pulls the blanket over the imp, Elross stabs with the letter opener. Hopefully I can stop this thing before it gets out, he thinks to himself.
Actions: (standard)Stab the entangled imp with the masterwork silver "dagger" Attack Roll:1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 20(Melee Attack, +1 for masterwork, +1 for bless, +2 for flanking) Damage Roll:1d4 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 - 1 = 5(Melee Damage, -1 Alchemical Silver)

Technically it was used as a demoralization, but I'll leave it up to you. If you allow it, the imp will be shaken for 4 rounds.
Elross circles to the far side of the bed, keeping his shield between himself and the imp. Noticing Cedrick's bow he says, "Make sure your arrows strike true, these things have thick skin."
Fighter 1 - HP 13/13 (anything Dex related lowered by 1 modifier point)
Hefting his shield in front of him, Elross waits for a loud bang on the other side of the door and nods to Simon. I will be doing an intimidate check for the surprise round if there is one, if not it will be my first standard action. Side note is the letter opener treated as a dagger or an alchemical silver dagger (for the purpose of attack and damage rolls)?
Intimidate Check(+8 for being medium vs tiny):1d20 + 7 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 8 = 33

Feeling more and more uncomfortable by the noises coming from the other room, Elross looks nervously between Cedrick and Simon. Talhelm used to say that most devils are vulnerable to silver, he remembered. Taking a deep breath, he grabs the shield from his back and starts walking towards the Paracountess. "We don't have all day to argue the points," he says glancing to Aesantiel, "let's just take care of the situation at hand." Extending his hand to the Paracountess, he states, "If I'm not mistaken, Imps are weak to silver. So how about you give me that letter opener and we can resolve this issue."
