Should have known that hanging out with that bi*ch would have dulled our senses.

She flicks a black dagger at the knight.

Still juggling 3 black orbs

Yes, please join us. It'll be fun.

Should we?

A sultry brunette in a small bikini and sash strolls onto the grounds.

"I heard there was a party here, but I don't hear any music? And are any of you heavy metal gentlemen going to buy a lady a drink?"

Only female avatar with a neutral name

Ashaundra wrote:
Ash smiles. "The screams are really quite soothing. Thank you, ladies. This brightens my day considerably."

*giggle* Try this then. It fits the circus motif.

As she juggles three orbs in a circle, she breathes a small stream of fire for them to pass thru. The screams become loud enough to hear close by.

Well that sure sounds familiar. JH would be running for the hills if he could hear that sentence... ;P

Whatever do you mean, you big strong handsome man?

She jumped in pain as soon as the words had left her lips. "Just buzz off," she said crankily, heading for her tent with a couple of scrolls clutched in her hand. "Demons have all the fun," she mumbled as she walked away.

Thank you, Mother.

What shall we do with these? She juggles two black orbs.

Good night all! ;)

Spin the Wheel and win a prize! A small brunette barks, standing in front of a large wheel marked with strange runes.

Hey, I appreciate the thought, man. I've got a sinking feeling I may need that net in a few seconds here anyway...

That's what you get. David starts her off as the Seductress then she gets changed. I could always bring back El-Lina for you, but she is kind of a Black Widow/Preying Mantis...
Heh - I figured you were going to put El-Lina back in play. She is intriguing in that scary, stalker-type way... :)
Oh yeah, both of us will be back in play. Double trouble. ;)

[sarcasm]Oh, my cup runneth over...[/sarcasm] :P

So both still bad to the bone, or maybe one thinking about a life re-evaluation, post-imprisonment...?

More like 'don't get caught, at ALL costs'. But maybe you could 'rescue' her...

Alaina, priestess of Calistria wrote:

So much pain ... My girls ... She was Serafina all the time ... That jackal snickered as he raised their dead corpses!

Maybe El-Lina knew all along? Detect thoughts is sooo much fun. Or, just getting lucky.

I am really dead? I am truly a spirit?...

I feel both alive and dead...

I feel free...but not totally so. I still hunger. I still feel pain.

The spirit of the dead changeling is drawn to this place

Does your medium have need of a spirit to 'entertain' her guests?

A bit of shadow pulls from the wall. A well-dressed zombie in Palace livery appears.

And what exactly is 'everything'? I'm not sure if even the Lord of this place knows what you deem 'everything'.

Shadows form and El-Lina vanishes

El-Lina frowns. If the death is allowed the discord will cease. The goddess will be angry.

I guess I have to level the playing field a bit.

She practices her illusions; the Wasp, KC, Frogskin, Ash, and the mother. Yes, the mother. Even goddesses have mothers. The arrogance she doesn't need to practice. She has spies even at the conspirator bases.

El-Lina smiles as she watches the activity at the Club. Discord, fear, confusion. So filling. Her Mistress is pleased.

The heroes were too slow to notice her spy at the oasis. Their fears were enjoyable while they lasted. No matter, another is already in place. Many are her tools.

Spoiler:
As she relishes in the chaos, her form changes into one of an old hag.

True power is drawn from your enemies. You make it yours and you succeed.

As she laughs her form changes to that of the leader of this realm, then to LJ's, then back to her own. (Own? maybe not, they're so hard to keep track of thru the years.)

I will add a tip o' the DM hat as well. Well played! Though I would have done the mopey server Serafina instead.

Magdalena walks back to the club, just in time to see Allura storm out crying with the bikini. She halts and dials a number on her cell

Unless Maggie is protected from Detect Thoughts or a really good listening bonus, El-Lina heads out of the Club, leaving a small potted plant by the door outside. Otherwise she waits for the drama, trusting in her protections from detection.

El-Lina arrives at the Club, grabs a table, and has a drink. She's dressed in elven social attire, dark reddish-brown in color. She 'listens' for the latest gossip.

Now the second...

Next to the pond a red orchid grows...

The hero Devlyn enters the Palace hall, then 'his' form changes. He becomes a she.

Ahh, one small step. So many more to put into play.

Hmmm - Devlyn would have probably left a couple of tunics & breeches, maybe one set of 'nicer' clothes, and his swim trunks. I'm sure she could cobble something together in a pinch.
something noticeably YOURS?

Aaahhh - then how about:

A fine elven tunic, cut to fit him. It's a rich red with cloth-of-silver chasing, probably long enough to cover to mid-thigh. In the chasing, the heraldic symbol for Deepingdale is present. He probably wore it on his second night, if I remember the timeline correctly...

Will that work for your evil plans? ;P

Perfect, and it's red! :)

Speculates on what she leaves the room wearing, as all she came to the Club with was said bikini now lying on the floor... ;)

El-Lina enters the Club via the omniportal. She's wearing a red designer bikini that leaves little to the imagination. Halfway to the pool she removes her top, then begins to look for a spot to catch the last good sun of the day.

Well I guess I didn't miss much then. I had to drive eight hours round trip for a class that ended up only running an hour and a half. Allura sees Devlyn dancing with another woman, and just manages to fight back the rising tide of jealousy she feels.

Devlyn has been keeping an eye on the crowd. As the current song ends, he notices Allura come down to the floor. He thanks El-Lina for the dance, then excuses himself:

"Thank you for the dance, but I just saw the person I needed to check up on, as she was feeling a bit ill earlier. Excuse me, please."

Goes over to Allura, looking concerned and relieved.
"I'm glad you're finally feeling better! Not to mention that that lady in red is a bit too...intense, for my tastes at least. Something doesn't quite add up..."

As the Dalesman ditches El-Lina after one short dance and heads off to Allura he doesn't see her eyes flash with anger. Nor does he see her gaze settle on Allura for one brief moment before cooling.

Jack Hammer wrote:

Err...I think I better excuse myself. I should check on that monk and his strange warnings.

JH hurries away, checking for any lingering scent of Brut.

El-Lina's eyes flash for a brief second, then she chuckles softly.

So Dalesman. It's just you and me.

So, when is one of you going to ask me to...dance? Or maybe both of you? One smooth, the other...powerful. Yes, that would be fun.

What's the matter? Kitty got your tongues?

Don't worry about your girlfriend tall, golden and handsome. She's busy, and it's only a dance, right?

El-Lina doesn't wait for permission and glides into an empty chair

Who does a girl talk to about getting a room for the evening? I hear they're very nice, and very...discreet. She gazes at the crowd by the bar, expecting the answer to be there.

After the monk scurries off El-Lina decides to head over to the table of the Dalesman and JH

Wow! That was...different. And a bit scary. Mind if I join you two big strong handsome men?

pointing to JH I'll even forgive you for not even trying to wear something red. You should, you know. It will set off your skin nicely.

El-Lina sits at the bar with a small smile on her face while the monk rants.

El-Lina decides to go clubbing. What better place than Club C?

The omni flashes and so does her smile when she sees the crowd. She is wearing her hair up, held in place with gold pins. Her silk gown sports large red flowers on a black background.

She looks for an open table and finding none heads to the bar.

How about a lemon martini barkeep? With 2 olives please. They look like little eyeballs don't they? *giggle*

A beautiful woman walks into the Palace halls in the midst of the 'discussion'.

Ahh, discord. I do so love Discord.

She walks up to one of the zombie attendants and places her right index finger under its chin. *whisper* It dissolves at her touch.

She takes a seat and waits.

El-Lina uses the fumble to dump the nosy one. She dances alone again. One song. Before she leaves the Club she passes close to LJ and JH.

Nice suit, but you'd look sooo much better in red.

With that she leaves.

Thank you dear. This is tasty, but the pink seems to wash out its flavor a bit.

She lightly touches his hand Could you see if they have any of that vintage red I so enjoyed last night?

"I apoligize, I thought you would find it .. exotic, as have others. I'm sure they have what you wish to drink."

*After he returns(with the right drink this time), he seems puzzeled*
"Here you are. If its much ask, as so many here don't wear there true forms, may I ask what your is? You do not seem to be what you appear... but than again, neither am I."

That's a rather personal question after one drink.

El-Lina takes in JH's hasty departure and the crowd of celestials

Not yet dear. I haven't even had a drink yet. You know, to get loosened up. Be a dear and get me one will you?

Something red.

"Shall we?"

Sorry, had my regular RL game last night. Turned out pretty frustrating. El-Lina will still leave the Club, but will be back when my mood isn't so dark.

El-Lina decides to dance a bit. She glides to the edge of the dance floor. Her hourglass figure smoothly swaying to the beat of the music. Her emerald blouse shimmers in the lights. Her jewelry seems to catch every flicker of light and return it tenfold. She seems to be in a different place.

After just one song she leaves the Club, waving to the drow males on the way out.

They both carry slender vaguely katana-style swords on wide leather belts embossed with silver spiders. SIlver torcs encircle their thin necks. The torcs' end finials are also silver spiders

The club music transitions into a much faster beat and the crowd on the floor begins to shake like a communal epileptic seizure.

The two drow arrive at El-Lina's table.

Fancy some company? The taller of the two asks in a thick accented Common, flipping his red-streaked white hair.

Sorry fellas. Something else has caught my eye. She turns her gaze to the Dalesman.

He moves rather well don't you think?

With her eyes still set upon the drow males, the newcomer tries the wine. A little dribbles slowly from the corner of her mouth. She dabs it with a red silk handkerchief.
