Pretty good stuff up there in you list!

Issue: Page 36, Trapfinding
Recomendation: I know this is the same as 3rd/3.5, but you changed other things, so possibly you could consider changing this too. I don’t like it when a game says that you absolutely cannot do something mundane, like looking for a trap. Anybody should be able to look. Even an untrained layman can get lucky and do something right accidentally. Even if it’s a trap with a DC of 21. Additionally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to have any single class required in an adventuring party. The “tank” roll can be...
This one, I also don't like (and understand). In my campaign, everybody has a chance to find a trap. But if you try to disable it, and not being a rogue with the skill, gives you a -20 to the roll. This way it's harder for other classes, but the DM doesn't has to say:"You can't do that!"

53) The GM who is starting a brand new campaign, makes you all sweat bullets to get the characters evenly balanced out, and on the first day a player you didn't know was joining shows up with a pimped out character because he beat the GM in a game of bowling and won a bet -- so got a much better stated and outfitted character than the rest! (True story, and still surprised the campaign lasted three sessions before we all bailed ;p )
Yeah, I hear you! Happened to me two times, one time that player with the pimped pc was the DMs wife, while we others all had to take agriculture as a skill, because of the campaign background. I hate it when such things happen!

I have also set for "monthly shipment"! So, with luck, I will get a shipment containing 6 pieces of Paizo-awesomeness... Man, can't wait to get that package, or at least, be able to download the stuff!

Great! I think it works with what I've written in my background, so I presently will not change anything. Our DM should check if that all works together somehow... :)
So, let's get ready to rumb...er... throw some sand around!

Dryder, I looked over Mirama's stats, and I did see some discrepancies.
1. I actually calculated her as having 13 skill ranks to assign. 8 +2 (INT bonus) +1 (Human race) +1 (Favored Class) +1 (Finding Haleen trait). So, it looks like she's short two. By the same token, I believe she should have 9 hp (again, due to the Finding Haleen trait).
Done!
Malvoisin wrote:
2. With her INT score and Linguistics skill, she can know two more languages (I'll give her Mwangi for free!)
Ok, would it be asked too much if she could speak a small ammount of Gnollish? She could have been a prisoner of some Gnolls, after hitting the coast during the storm. No problem if not!
Malvoisin wrote:
3. Her weapons damage should not include a +2 bonus (Weapon Finesse applies only to the attack roll, not damage).
D'oh!
Malvoisin wrote:
4. Her base AC should be 15 (although the Flat-Footed and Touch totals are correct)
Well, I added the +1 from the Dodge feat, but I can change it back.
Malvoisin wrote:
5. If you would, please include her Armor Check Penalty in the appropriate skill totals.
I'll do!
Malvoisin wrote:
Incidentally, I saw that you took the Finding Haleen trait, which means that Mirama may be familiar with Khalit and Martika before the adventure begins, if you and Craig/Scribbling Rambler would like.

In another pbp here on these boards, SHISUMO came up with the following, to help the DM:
Maneuver Resistance
The resistance to Combat Maneuvers is usually 15 + your CMB (which is usually your BAB + Str modifier). However, some things provide for more resistance. If you have the Defensive Combat Training feat, for instance, that makes all maneuver attacks against you suffer a +4 to the DC. And if you have any of the Improved feats (grapple, trip, sunder, bull rush, etc) those add another +2 to the DC vs that specific type of maneuver.
In this case, we could add a line like this
Maneuver Resistance: 15
like in my case. Maybe it could help our DM... Any thoughts!?

Wow, great stuff. It's good to see people who had the same problem with Ironbriar being just another bad guy, if you don't change stuff.
Spoiler:
In my campaign, the pcs met a caravan from Korvosa, who had no healer with them. When the pcs arrived, they were asked to check one wounded lad, who was found this very morning, almost dead. The victim bore the rune on his breast, and while he was talking about Turtleback Ferry (where he came from) the cleric noticed that little tattoo on his wrist, showing as well the rune!. With the caravan was Justice Ironbirar traveling (who had been in Korvosa, to deliver of the fungus from Foxglove Manor, which he was instructed to do by Xaneesha).
This way, they got to know a really polite and nice Justice from Magnimar, who also showed them where to stay for the night in Magnimar. He also gave them the bounty for that bandit, which head was found below Foxglove Manor. All in all they had a nice chat with him, discussing everything what they had experienced with him. As soon as Ironbiar had shown them a decent inn, he went to plan their murders.
When they finally confronted him in the sawmill, it was exactly what I had hoped for...

Cool. I'll add the traits tonight! I am not sure if I calculated this whole "point-buy" thing correctly. Never done it before... Would be cool if you could check, if the stats are correct.

I've done a quick overview of Howl of the Carrion King (haven't had time yet to do a thorough read), but from what I have seen, we are in for a real treat. It looks awesome.
I am so excited to play this campaign, but you know what bugs me about this whole thing - for the first time, I can't open my Pathfinder when it hits my home. I have to wait until this game is over! Oh man... ;)
Dryder(male boring human Air-Traffic-Controler Level 10)
I am presently at work, creating my pc here. I should be able to upload it it tonight. Sorry, for taking so long.
And, I don't know if I told you already, I have the LoF PG, of course.
Dryder(male boring human Air-Traffic-Controler Level 10)
Ok, I think I will play a Mwangi rogue from the Bonuwat tribe (see p. 29 of the CS).
He got caught by slavetraders, but the ship sunk in a terrible storm and somehow he managed to survive that event. He was wahsed shore somehwere at the Katapesh coast, just south of the Brazen Peaks.
From that day on, he survived by hunting game and eventually arrived in Katapesh-City, where he learned the ways of the thiefs pretty fast.
So maybe (not sure yet, if I should) I will start out as a ranger, and switch over to rogue at 2nd level.
His name is Mitabu.
Dryder(male boring human Air-Traffic-Controler Level 10)
Oh, so great to be part of this!
If it's ok for you all, I would play a rogue, or any other class which is needed.
I'll check the PG tomorrow again, to come up with a character concept.

Damn, on June 20th I am far away on holiday. Any chance to buy this BB from your shop here on Paizo, or will there be a pdf available only afterwards?! I so need to get this print version...
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
Maybe Alpha Omega would help you out.
You could listen to Atomic Array's podcast #12, which covers much what there's to tell about it.
RPGNOW and DrivethruRPG.com have free pdf download samples, which might help you as well, to get some information.
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
I just preordered it here in Germany, after all the good words I've heard about it!
Hopefully it will be available again soon, as this monster is pretty expensive to get shipped to me from the Paizo Warehouse...
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
OMG! I must have this!!!
I am glad my RotRL campaign will last the whole year. When it's over I have so much stuff to choose from... LoF, CoT, Classic Horrors Revisited and much much more. Can't wait to read Paizo's take on thieves guild's as well...
I am so happy to take a ride on the D&D Paizo-Era!!!
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
August...still so much time...
Could you also show us a sample page of the bestiary in the Paizo Blog, kind of soonish, pleeeaaaase!!! It would help in not going crazy while waiting for those two books...
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
I set it on "hold for PF" as well now, just to be sure. If Paizo tells me otherwise, I will change it again right away. Otherwise I will wait until April.

Thanks for the mail about to spring flood of products :-)
Could you please have a look at the international shipping rates? At present, I hold the books for monthly shipment. In March, this would be six books at one time. AFAIK, there is a weight treshold over which shipping jumps from 11 $ to 40 $ - obviously, I would rather have two separate shippings in that case. So, may I ask you to calculate the weight of the whole package and and find out the international shipping rates for two separate packages compared to one big package? This would be really great.
Stefan
Seconded!

JR, do you want me to post right away with what I am doing, spoiler-wise or not? If I get it right, I am on my way with the two Pale Dogs to find and kill that woman...
Some more stuff:
Required minimum character background:
1. Location of birth - Ptolus (in the Warrens)
2. Location you currently consider “home” - (The Warrens)
3. Why you are in Ptolus - (well, to strike it rich, and get my family out of this rathole, called the Warrens!)
4. Names and brief descriptions for 2 close friends or family members - Father: Golion (deceased), Mother: Melinda, Sister: Melia (9), Sister: Rona (13), Sister: Keara (21), Friend: Toran (18) living in the Warrens as well, but working as a courier for a smith in the Guildsdistrict.
And sorry for being late, I thought we would go live on the 20th of february...well...life is fleeting! :)

As for you Shar-Nym
** spoiler omitted **
Spoiler:
That's great, JR! I think Nym will try to come along just to save this woman or scream for someone at the right moment. Nym knows this just plain wrong and is determined to save that unknown woman. Whatever she'd done, she surely doesn't deserve to die!
I will also try to find out who contracted those two, with Diplomacy (+3 modifier), rolled a 10, for a total of 13.
In case the two Pale Dogs get away (with or without killing the woman) Nym needs to relocate his family (Mother and three sisters). Somehow - maybe the Bladechapel would be his first try...
Anything else you need from me before we start?
To all others: I haven't read any background of your pcs, because Nym doesn't know anyone of you presently. I rather try to find out during the game...hope that's fine with you all?!

Thanx, Sleepy, what I've thought!
Added MR to Nym's statblock.
Just to clarify, I made that up - it's not really an "official" statline (compare with the villain statblocks for the Superstar contest). I just thought it would be a handy thing to have already done the math on, for the GM's sake.
I figured that now. A great idea, Shisumo! I will have all my players have that line on their character sheets!
Dryder(male boring human Air-Traffic-Controler Level 10)
Well, my pc will be named SHAR-NYM NADAL, being a human boy of about 17 years (he doesn't actually know how old he is).
Class = Rogue
Background to come.
One question:
If I have a malus on STR and use Weapon Finesse with my dagger, I do 1d4 damage minus the STR modifier?! I never actually happened to experience this case and I want to be sure.
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
My idea for my pc: Keeping in mind its more roleplay-heavy a campaign...
Spoiler:
I would like to play a young boy, born on the streets of the Warrens and inevitably joining the Pale Dogs. As I plan to play a LG character, he is not happy with being a part of Jirraith's gang.
Always dreaming of the stories his mother told him when he was even younger, he dreams of the saints of the past and hopes to one day join the Knights of the Pale and become a Knight himself.
Whenever he manages to escape the clutches of the Pale Dogs, he goes begging in the streets, to get some food for his mother, and his three sisters, of whose one is older than he.
Whenever time permids (and more and more often even if not) he sneaks around the Bladechapel in Oldtown, just to be kind of "near his heroes".
So, if you approve, I plan on starting as a rogue, taking the Knight of the Pale PrCl one day...
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
Do you still need players?!
I DMed NOD and own almost every Ptolus stuff, but I am not a cheater and will not look up things.
I love Ptolus and I am sure pbp will be my only chance to experience it as a player. Cutting down combat and using more roleplay is cool for Ptolus!
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
I would love to have PDFs with those maps to print them on my own!
Map Folios are at $14.99, so I would not pay more than $19.99 for such a PDF!
Oh, how awesome would that be!
Dryder(Pathfinder Charter Superscriber; GameMastery Maps Subscriber)
But SD is awesome to take material from. I surely will not DM it, but I would be glad to be a player.
Anyway, in the LoF outline, is the name Ymeri or Ymiri? It was spelled both ways...
