I don't know if Gary already managed to get this "combine non-subscribtion-items-to-the-monthly-shipment" stuff done already. but I wonder if you could send my CBoEM together with one of my monthly shipments.
Demiurge 1138 wrote: I ended up doing a little sidetrack in Whistledown, heavily inspired by Carnival of Tears. Wicked fey coming down from the North to hunt humans--the PCs managed to convince the Cold Rider that he would get better sport out of the Sandpoint Devil. I also managed to use them as indicators that the Sanos Forest was under dark times, foreshadowing the nymph ghost in HMM. Hmm, I think this is a good idea to foreshadow coming events. Thanx for the idea, Demiurge! *blushes*
SideNote: I use the Beta rules and therefore, the pcs seem to be a bit tougher than the normal 3.5 pcs. As I only occasional change stuff in the modules, they sometimes had a bit of an easier time with some encounters. However, Spoiler:
interchanging Lucrecia's and Xaneesha's statblock was a great advice from one of the posters on these boards! Ok, N'wah, in the Spirit of what Daigle said, I promise to buy all the sets you have for the Legacy of Fire AP, even if it's just to help you getting momentum in your endeavor (is that correct english?!). Now go, and make them double-sided, I will also promise to say you look nice without your hair! ;) Guennarr wrote: (...)So far the availability of the Tome of Horrors Revised as PDF-only didn't prevent many people from using it, either. ;-) So this can't be a decisive reason against Ptolus modules. I am with you, Günther, except for this quote above. Using monster-pdfs is far easier than using such a huge thing that Ptolus is. However, Ptolus not being in print anymore shouldn't be a reason not to produce stuff for it!WelbyBumpus wrote:
Very helpful indeed! Thanx, WelbyBumpus! I will check both ideas, but I think breaking up CONQUEST OF B-VALE will be just the thing I was searching for.I just found the adventure Witching Season (somewhere on the WotC side, from "GreatGreenGod" Mathew B. Conklin. Might also work for a swamp sidetreck on their way to Turtleback. Some thoughts from me: - If the pdfs would include colored and uncolored minis I would pay $5.99. Would be cool to color them myself. - The ONLY one thing why I not started to buy the WotC miniatrues lines was that booster crap! If I need minis I want to KNOW what I get for my mones, and especially CHOOSE what minis I buy! So making smaller pdfs with special selections would be awesome. - It would be also great to just download a single mini if you need it. Again, colored and uncolored for $0.99 or something. - If you could make one single pdf with, let's say 2 minis, and put it up for free with all the other $5.99 pdfs, it would surely help to sell your stuff, becaue people could actually try those minis first, before spending money. Can't wait to see those pdfs! I hope you sell them well and wish you all the best!!! Well, I used Spoiler:
Lucrecia's stats for Xaneesha and plan to use Xaneesha's stats for Lucrecia. And I maybe made it a bit easier because of all those XANEESHA's a TPK threads. The party is all 6th level now (and far from 7th). I have a Sarenrae cleric, a fighter and a rogue(1)/sorcerer (5). Plus an NPC (Merisiel). Now I search for a quick module to get them all the way to 7th level or at least almost there... Now, that my players are about to make the trip to Turtleback Ferry and start the Hook Mountain Massacre, I get the dread feeling, they are falling behind in levels.
1.) Did anybody else experienced this?
Any Paizonians who can help a fellow DM out of this?! Would be great... I have no need for Psionics or Epic books. More races or also something which I don't need. Some new classes might be fine, but I think we already have enough. I also don't need more PrCl. If you keep them focused, and only do a few that might be ok, but there are far too many out there already! "Complete" books would make me not to subscribe, because I never really used any of them in 3E. Those books are the stuff why a system could become too croweded with rules and exceptions, as well as very special options. However, I loved the "Tome of Magic" from WotC. The three described versions of Magic are awesome and something along those lines would be a must-have for me! I loved the "Volo's Guide to XXX" books for the Forgotten Realms. Such a thing for Golarion would be too cool not to have. As well as some "real" PF-Chronicles... Yep, I am all for fluff, and less for crunch! A book which details the various secret and powergroups of Golarion in more detail would be awesome! And finally - I would love it, if you'd do those books like the Beta print-version and not in hardcover! Far easier to use and VERY good binding as well! Would make them cheaper as well, wouldn't it?! And thanx for asking us in the first place! Aarontendo wrote: (...)And I'm wondering how good the adventures would be if you don't have the book for it. If it's that easy to plug n play things, then why not just buy city based adventures and drop em into Ptolus?(...) There, sir, you have a point! Sure, I use all manner of Urban adventures in my Ptolus campaign, but having Ptolus specific ones would be awesome. And yes, it might be hard to pull off a modules set in Ptolus which could be useable for everyone. But I am sure you could take care of that. Ptolus is anything but a dead world! Its just that it's no longer availale in print, but every single chapter can be bought at Drivethrurpg or rpgnow.
PS A merry christmas to all posters and everyone (really everyone) at Paizo! ;) Aarontendo wrote:
I disagree. Ptolus is a finished product which is awesome in itself. You can play a lifetime in this city, without ever leaving it. The possibility of setting Ptolus in another campaign setting (like Golarion, Eberron, or the others) is giving this product an unbelievable huge range of usage in any campaign! New sourcebooks are not really neccessary (it's all in there, already), but adventures are! Having a bunch of modules set in Ptolus would be awesome, and a good buy for anyone, having the book or not.more to come... Set wrote:
Thank you so much, Set, for kind of "reposting" that idea here! AWESOME! Thanx to you all for explaining what happened.
I once had a store sending me an eMail, asking if I really placed an order (which I had not). I asked how they came to ask me this, and they explained that I normally ordered stuff for below 20 bucks, and than came that huge order of over 500 euros. So they got worried. I was glad they asked, and the order never got out. One GOOD example of how "knowing" consumer behaviour might help. I am always logged in here at Paizo.
The dots, showing me were the threads are at which I've posted are also gone. I now disabled my "remember payment method for future purchases" just in case. Would be cool if you could check that, please. Greetz,
Oh fun, here's mine: Vegetable Cutter

WOW, thanx for this link, Sean! AWESOME!I just finished browsing my Dungeon and Dragon magazine collection, reading Scale mail and the editorials. Some articles and adventures, because I was searching stuff for my RotRL campaign.
Well, maybe I am just a bit on the drama-side of life... ...during character creation could be cool if it brings you more points to your stats. for expample: Shortsightetness
Be aware, that this is only a thought which I didn't work out in detail. But something along those lines might be cool to have in the PFRPG.
