Merisiel looks like she was added in as an afterthought. Her placement muddles up the dramatic tension between Ezren and the dragon. Really hope that this was not done because Paizo wanted some female representation on the cover too. :(

I have a wide selection of boardgames, some current favourites in my play group are as follows…
Personally I love large multiplayer conflicts, but finding players that can handle those is difficult (Warrior Knights, Twilight Imperium, Conquest of the Empire, Age of Conan, Starcraft and even Risk 2210 and others are all languishing on the shelves for want of players). P.S. While I find Risk 2210 (not to be confused with basic Risk) to be imminently playable, I regrettably have to advise that Risk: Godstorm should be avoided for its random chaos and boring, overcrowded Underworld elements.
Is this a returnable issue? For what it is worth, Mongoose has been really great with replacing e.g. their Conan books that were commonly affected by binding problems (going so far as to pay for international shipping charges as well). Hopefully Paizo will be as professional in this regard, should it turn out to be a common problem.

you have to look at little more closely at the actual, in-game effects of this kind of thing. Can you give us some examples of what you mean? From my perspective I am also fully in the camp of combining these skills as I hardly ever see players spend significant points on them. |
