Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I see that they have several Vudrani deities but I don't remember hearing about them anywhere.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Yeah I know about that Urath DM but still we had the stats for the Displacer Beast first;)

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

A 1/day single target gaze effect isn't to game breaking and changing to stun isn't to bad. Though we can always design a racial feat that changes it to flesh to stone at lv9 or higher.

As far as PC vs NPC races that is completely up too you or your DM if you are not a DM. If you are a DM, you can use them however you want.

As far as fluff goes most of them have stuff you can use or make up on your own since many of them are so common place(minotaur, centaur, etc.). It's not like there hasn't been 0HD versions of most these guys in some edition or another. I am just making stats for fun really, if people want to use then cool, if not then cool as well.

Also Bandw2, I would like to know what you consider OP?

Keep in mind that many of these races may seem stronger but I have rules to boost the power of existing races when I wish to allow powerful races like Kasatha, Trox, Svirfneblin, Syrinx, etc.. Also keep in mind I have never been a fan of making 99% of a race one alignment or alignment type such as evil.

Sorry if I have disappoint anyone for lack of fluff, balance, or "what were you thinking!".

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Yes, but it isn't the same unless it is in a hardcover bestiary;)

Didn't they say at the con that the Kineticist would get more wild talents?

I really wish the Coeurl wasn't copyrighted. I love that creature, it would have made an awesome replacement for the Displacer Beast. It would been a great creature to have on one of the other planets such as Castrovel, Verces, a few of the moons, etc.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Is there any art for aquatic elves?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Maybe they could have a city inspired by the place Zaister but isn't it still under copyright?

I am much more interested in the realms part of this book then anything else.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

It's one of the few hardcovers that I didn't get because it was of no use to me. I found the Monster Codex book to be more useful but still not as cool as a bestiary. I am curious what will be next year, NPC Codex 2, Monster Codex 2, or something else.

I hope at least one 0HD race makes it into this book.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I would also like to see Alps.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Eros/Cupid wouldn't be an angel maybe a unique type of outsider or part of a new group of outsiders.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

What about the Deep Crow, didn't that have some kind of copyright issue as well?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I would like to see the Azi dragons, Miengu, Buraq, Hadhayosh, Danse Macabre, Havero, and Painted creature.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I am sure that since we got a hardcover bestiary this year that we will not get one next year. I could be wrong and if so then...YEAH! But more then likely it will be something else.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Not that I have heard of.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

The succubus analogues are one of the few fiend archetypes I like;)

Thanks for posting the 3.5 monsters Zaister.

Is the painted creation a painting based monster because I could really use one of those?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I hope they do any soft cover bestiary next year when we will not get a hardcover bestiary. Please be a distant worlds one or one focused on a area of Goarion that is not the Inner Sea.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I would take 10 more beautiful people with wings over 50 more demons any day.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

My hopes are that we get hardcover campaign setting books for Distant Worlds, Arcadia, Tian Xia, Garund, Casmeron, Azlanti, Sarusan, the Oceans/Seas of Golarion, and The Planes. Also an Advanced Races Guide 2 would be awesome.

My fears that such books will never happen.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

The fey ancestors of gnomes would be interesting to see but that would be a little too world specific.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Crocodile men called Eloko would be cool.

They haven't done anything with Gigas for ages and none of them have been in a hardcover bestiary....yet.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Anteros sounds interesting as fallen servants to gods/goddesses of love.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Lock this thread or combine it with the B5 wish list.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I could make up my own, and I have in many cases, but I want these races from Paizo. There is a chance that some of them will be seen one day. I can't say all of them will be but one can dream.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

No, I only have the AP bestiary creatures listed. Page 62 of the B5 wish list has a multiple lists of creatures in the APs, modules, etc. that haven't made into a hardcover bestiary.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

This is an interesting u=and useful discussion.

I wish Golarion did have a dragon's graveyard, well maybe Triaxus does:)

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

-A couple more bird races such as hawk/falcon(medium) and humming bird(small)
-A medium size playable Cyclops-like race.
-A playable Minotaur race.
-A good-looking playable harpy-like race with wings for arms and talon feet.
-A race with a real third eye on there forehead.
-A lizard based race maybe a gecko or chameleon.
-A race that can create webs, doesn't have to be a spider.
-A few insect-like races, small and medium, maybe even a playable Thriae.
-A playable Frankenstein's monster-like race.
-A monstrous humanoid race that you can create with a list of monster traits such as horns, claws, webbed feet, wings, tail, etc.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

The Hupia would make an interesting 0HD undead race.

The flying monkeys(Hsingo) would be a good small creature to have multiple of on the cover.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

1)So what AP is the cut off point for monsters you will be reprinting in B5?

2)Will the Skinwalker get any love(or at least reprinted stats) in any products this year?

3)Any chance that B5's final product cover will be updated anytime soon(before Gen Con)?

4)Have you seen Gravity Falls yet?

5)So what movies have you seen lately?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Familiar or not, some tiny elementals would be nice.

I would love some new proteans and inevitables.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Races I would like to see...
-A fey blooded race, like a fey version of Aasimar/tiefling.
-A giant blooded race(still medium size) that gets a trait(fire resistance, obscuring mist-1/day, etc.) based on what type of giant it's related too.
-A dragon blooded race, like a toned town half-dragon that you can make look like how want.
-A tauric race.
-More planetouched races for law, chaos, positive energy plane, kami, dimension of time, etc.
-Tiny size race more then likely fey(maybe an actual faerie)
-A playable ooze race that can take humanoid form.
-An aberration race that has a humanoid form.
-A playable corporeal undead race.
-A magical beast race.
-More fey, monstrous humanoid, and plant based races.
-A small size alien race that is from a high gravity world so it gets a +2Str +2Con -2Dex, DR2/-, acid/cold/elec./fire res 5, +1 natural armor.
-A snake lower bodied lamia like playable race.
-A humanoid race bread to hunt lycanthropes so it's natural attacks and any weapon it uses count as silver and is immune to lycanthropy.
-A crystal like race.
-A wolf based playable race.
-A small size squirrel based race with a climb speed.
-A turtle based race(+2Con +2Wis -2Dex, +2 natural armor).
-A rabbit based race(small or medium)
-More alien races in general with abilities like with tactile telekinesis(use highest mental stat as str score), x-ray vision, telekinesis, no breath, radiation immunity, shapeshifting, size alteration, etc.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I have a list somewhere of creatures in APs that haven't been put in a hardcover bestiary excluding heralds of course;)

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

What are the alignments of all the iconics including the occult classes if you can reveal that?

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

None of those monsters are in any of the hardcover bestiaries available right now.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

From past APs I hope to see...
Danse Macabre
Buraq
Calikang
Stygia
Calathgar
Blodeuwedd
Dweomer Cat
Skirk Nettle
Biloko
Gare Linnorm
Oni(all)
Kami(all)
Gargiya
Addu
Mezlan
Domovoi
Dvorovoi
Ovinnik
Cynosphynx
Shasalqu
Elder Sphinx
Ammut
Mummy Lord
Raiju
Coral Capuchin
Tidepool Dragon
Aspidochelone

There are more that is what comes to mind.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I would like to see the Tennin, a group of celestial beings from Japanese Buddhism or at least the Tennyo(Celestial Maidens). These beings usually have a magical item such as feathered kimono(hagoromo), jewelry, musical instrument(biwa or flute), and lotus blossoms. They can fly though some versions say that there clothing or some other item grants them this ability.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I agree the Annunaki do give off a Prometheus vibe and I am also curious about what movie inspired monsters there will be.

We could use more types of sea creatures.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I am sure we will be getting more fey, though how many I have no idea.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

The Contemplatives are one of the reasons I thought of Akiton the other being the strangeness at the polar regions. There is also the "mountain tested" of Ka but that could just be brain damage from lack of oxygen;)

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I would prefer Castrovel, Akiton, Verces, and some of the moons of Liavara and Bretheda.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I am more curious about the psychic manuscript since all psychic magic users are spontaneous casters so it isn't some kind of scroll or spell book in function.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

But I still want the living umbrellas and shoes along with everything else.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Well there is a lot monsters I would like to see so chances are I will find stuff in this book I like. Sure I have had disappointments or monsters I just didn't like. But such creatures were a very, very small percentage of the book, like 12 monsters or less.
