Any word on when we will see the player's guide for this AP? I know the pirates book will be out soon, and our group is chomping at the bit to get their hot little hands on everything to start working up the party! Arrrrr!!

Just to let you guys know Humans of Golarion is still showing as a pre order. I added it to my order yesterday with them hoping they would go ahead and ship it with the rest, but they had it as a separate shipment for January 2012. I spoke with a customer rep last night and she said that she would set it up to be checked out. I still thought you guys might want to know as well. I also noticed Dungeons of Golarion still is showing as a pre order as well on Amazon.

I recently listened to the most recent Know Direction Podcast and heard at the end of season 2 before season 3 a 3 part "First Steps" arc was going to be available. Can anyone tell me more about this or point me in the right direction if it is listed as an upcoming product? I may have missed it.

First session was last night made characters and did introduction bits mainly. It looks like we will be playing every other Saturday night squeezing in a session in on off weeks when we can all get together.

Lana Orlovsky strode from her father's hall fuming. There was no way she was going to marry seventy-four year old Unster Medvyed! Now had he been an Elf like her own dear mother that would be of no concern. He would only now be of the age to be considering betrothal, but he wasn't; he was human like father. A four time widower with a score of whelps ranging from nigh on sixty to barely twelve. If mother was still alive there is no way father would propose such a match. She stormed into her room collecting her things she hated the thought of running, but not as bad as the thought of Ancient Unster. She would head south she was not commonly known in Restov there she would be able to slip away perhaps find some companions, go forth and wander like mother had done in her youth. She remembered the tales she would spin as Lana lay down for bed. She gripped the fine longbow that had served her mother so well, lifted her hood to fight the cold night air and slipped out the window with no more than she could carry.

Otis looked at Arryol nodding to his life long friend as they saw the lone rider coming down the road. The big half orc liked it when they came along by themselves and so finely dressed as well. Surley this one was a wealthy merchants son or mayhap a lordling of one of the great houses. When he neared there hiding place he sprung from his tree. Drawing his new shiny Bastard sword that had been paid for by the last wealthy son to travel down their road.
" Ho there boy, did you not know this here is a toll road?" He smiled frightfully.
Arryol stepped forth from the bushes behind the young lordlings horse as he finished the words to his incantacion his hands danced with electricity.
"No fear lad, we prefer to leave travelers unmolested once they have paid their due." Arryol added.
They had been eating much better since they had decided to become highwaymen.
The youth held up his hands.
"I have heard tell of you robber's most foul working the Southway road. It seems many goodly folk have been charged an exorbitant toll to travel this road as of late. Funny as how the Swordlords don't recall sending any taxmen to enact such a toll." With a flick of his wrist and a fluid sweep of his arm the youth had an Aldori dueling sword in his hand. He whistled shrilly and six men at arms wearing the colors of the Restov watch rounded the been on horse, spear in hand. Four more rose from the woods leveling heavy crossbows at them. Otis and Arryol were no craven, but they were no fools either. Otis let his sword fall to the ground Arryol discharged the lightning he held in his hand. The youth chuckled. "put them in shackles and take their weapons. Gag the mage. Dorin ride ahead and tell the swordlords that the Southway is safer by two bandits. Come along boys it is a fair walk to Restov's Dungeons."

Hi all,

I am getting ready to start a Kingmaker campaign and one of the party concepts is having the players be from one of the noble houses of Brevory.
Not the direct heir but a cousin or nephew to the Lord or Lady of the house (potential ruler) and other members of the family or servants of the house making up the rest of the party. I right now have the first two installments of the AP and will be picking up the rest in the next month or so. Do any of the houses make appearances as antagonists, or appear in a way that makes this a bad idea? Thanks for any forthcoming help.

It is a hot Toilday afternoon and the business is picking up at Slim's Way Inn. Everyone seems to be coming in to get out of the afternoon sun. Sunrise Boulevard is packed with all sorts of traffic coming and going Northpoint is a bustling district this time of day. Slim's isn't the biggest Inn in the district nor is it the most famous, but it is a decent place, clean, decent food, better drink. The average customer falls into to categories; one they are either local here for a pint or a bit of food, or two they are newcomers in town looking for a place where they can sort out the city before moving on. Many teamsters like to stop in here Slim loves a bit of news from beyond the walls, and often gives a free mug for any new tidbit that he has yet to hear. He used to have problems with Dancers thats true they thought the fresh fish in town were easy pickings then Slim hired Xanthem, and a better spotter he hadn't seen. With Two Waters as an enforcer no one seemed to want to fleece his customers anymore, or when they did they learned they didn't want to make the mistake again.

Do you want to run a Kingmaker pbp? Dread looking through all those concepts you are going to get? Wish you could get a group with characters that you know are going to work together have a shared background? Look no further we are the group you are looking for.

we have Kalsgrim Lodovka (paladin or Sorcerer) who is a younger scion of House Lodovka that has been sent forth with his retainers the Nowicki brothers a ranger, and cavalier (order of the lion) with a charter from the Swordlords.Kalsgrim's friend (Dalthom's Eldrich Knight)has joined the party. Janku (cleric of Gorum),Servayan (bard or Summoner) and Corso (Rouge) are brothers who are connected to the Surtova family Janku and Servayan do not yet know that Corso is their half brother(future Plot Development). They met up with the party preparing to head to the Stolen Lands when they overheard them discussing the preparations, and asked to join the endeavor as their own prospects in their family were none to grand. A chance to help found a fledgling kingdom appealed to them as well.
So if you would like to run Kingmaker for us we would love to play.

I don't know if this is the right spot, but if there could be more child avatars that would be great; particularly a certain group of youngsters from Crown of the Kobald King. Anyone else see a need for a missing element of avatars pbp gm's I'm looking at you.

The ramshackle town of Falcons Hollow rests Perilously close to the infamous Darkmoon Vale. The jagged shadow of the nearby mountains cast a shroud of gloom; as thick as the storm clouds hovering over the land, on the desperate souls who call this place home. Many are drawn here to make their fortune cutting a swath of dark-wood lumber through the lush Darkmoon Wood of the vale. Others journey to these remote fringes looking for a fresh start. Persecuted zealots and outcasts flock to Falcons Hollow . Here, these fanatics practice their strange and often deviant rites unfettered by the mores of civilization. Their only opposition the small congregation of the church of Iomedae. Still others are lured to Falcons Hollow by the promise of great adventure. Peril and splendor await within the accursed halls of long dead dwarven kings, and ruins of time past. The small town of Falcons Hallow has always had to rely on itself to solve its problems. Meanwhile, the uncaring lumber barons squeeze the common folk for every last copper, deaf to their pleas. Now the hacking coughs of the sick are heard throughout the town. The plague has fallen on the town like the incessant rain of the last week, and the powers that be cant be bothered to stop it.

OK everyone here is our out of character thread. everyone can talk about there concepts and start working on crunch I know at least two of you submitted concepts that were open on what class you would ultimately take.I don't know who has experience with the mods I am running and who doesn't, and thats fine. If you do know please keep meta-knowledge separate from character knowledge. I also may be changing some things from the way they are written so don't be surprised if things aren't exactly the same. I think I know who is planning on being local and who is not. I plan to email locals a bio on town folks and what not. For those that are not local I was thinking of having you coming into town as caravan guards.
If someone has a different idea please let me know nothing is written in stone. I know we have several folks pretty new to pbp myself included. so I will post later some tips on making a character in your profile. Welcome to the group everybody. I think we are in for a good time from the concepts I got. I also would like to thank Set he has been on the ball with helping out answer questions for people, and I appreciate that.
More to come in a bit.

Qadira (Pathfinder Adventure Path, Battles Case Subscriber)

I am pretty new to PBP, but I want to give dming in this format a try. Before I take on an AP. I thought I would run a smaller scale campaign using hollows last hope & curse of the kobald king. I will allow play test classes. I will take six characters. 25pt buy. use the die roller here on site. please submit concepts to johns.anglin(at)yahoo(dot)com.
no need to write up full characters before final selection will take all submissions into account not first come first serve. post rate once a day min. I look forward to getting a group together and giving this thing a try.

So anyone planning on running some scenarios online? I would love to play, and I just gm (CotCT right now) for my local group. maybe will pick up a few scenarios myself to get the ball rolling. any word on how season zero mods are being run? as is or adjusting to PFRPG?

Qadira (Pathfinder Adventure Path, Battles Case Subscriber)

ok, so just started a new CotCT campaign. I have recently been reading some of the great campaign reports, and thought hey why not share my groups story. We don't get to play often, or for great lengths of time. I am just ecstatic to get to game. We are playing every other week for about three and a half to four hours solid game time.I have three steady players, with one more who plans on playing the npc on weeks he does not have to work. the players:

Lord Garralt a neutral human conjurer He is a graduate of the Acadamae. He is the heir of a minor house in the city, his great uncle the only member of the family still alive. He lost his father when he was very young it was never really discussed what happened to him. His mother herself an instructor at the Acadamae was murdered by dear old Gadrean when he was around ten.His mother had always been his uncles favorite. Now he derides his nephew that is so much like himself. He threatens to leave it all to the church of Abadar even though he has no love for the greedy bishops of banking. Hopefully seeing justice brought to his mothers killer will ease some of the tension between the two.

Marr a chaotic good half elf fighter never knew what happened to his parents. His earliest memories were of the orphanage while not a paradise it wasn't all that bad, and he never knew a different life then one day he was plucked like a ripe apple from an abundant orchard by Gadrean. The next few years of his short life made the previous ones look like a distant dream. He never quite made the measure for Gadrean. Something about the boy always rubbed Lamm the wrong way, and in turn ended up being one of his favorite punching bags. One day when he was in a truly foul mood Marr made the mistake of tripping and spilling his gruel "little Marr had made his last mistake" that day Gadrean beat him to death and dumped him at least he thought he had.

to be continued.....

Greetings, May you walk in shade along a clear stream all of your days. I am Samir Al Sa'eed, and I bid you welcome. Please enjoy a cool beverage, or perhaps the hooka. I believe the other factions have begun to bicker now is the time to begin deciding how to split their wealth for the glory of the Pasha. I am a humble bard in the service of the Pasha. I hope that we may meet in our travels for the glory of Qadira.

Qadira (Pathfinder Adventure Path, Battles Case Subscriber)

I am planning on running PFS mods when they become available I was curious if there were any other GMs out there in the area who would like to split the mods so they don't have to eat them all. I would like to play in some of the mods before I GM them for my group, or others. I was also curious if there were any players out there who were looking to play in PFS as I don't yet have six players for a full table. I know that there is going to be a pathfinder society page up soon, but I thought I would throe this out there.

Qadira (Pathfinder Adventure Path, Battles Case Subscriber)

Hello all, I was curious if there were any other folks out there in the Ft.Worth, Tx. Area who are planning on GMing or Playing in PFS? Please feel free to shout out your home turf of wheere you are going to be trying to Organize play. Just maybe we will discover other Paizonians in are area . I am going to GM and have a few players who will probably play, but would love to find at least one other GM so maybe we could take turns eating the mods. Playing some would be nice. Is there any way to know ig local game stores are approved?

Looking forward to running and playing,

Dorgar

Anyone know when we could see a character sheet for alpha? I was going to try and do a one shot of Hollow's Last Hope for some folks this weekend and some sheets would go a long way on cutting down on the confusion for people.

Qadira (Pathfinder Adventure Path, Battles Case Subscriber)

I would love to get into a campaign. I will be running it for my local group eventually, and would like to play in it before I run it.
