Mead Gregorisson wrote: The new Birth Subdomain is very nice. The Life Domain and Fertility Subdomain ain't shabby, but I love the flavor of Birth. That this is one of the first things you mention liking fills me with a warm fuzzy satisfaction. I wrote the Beer, Hunger and Moon domains for the CS too. The mental image of an angry priestess making some swaggering pirate Captain go through the agony of forcing a watermelon through a lemon using only his bowels was simply too funny to not do, once Christina told us the name of her domain (which is the name of the actual domain in the Goddesses write-up btw).
I submitted a race of coconut-people a while back for one of OD's previous projects, but their background wasnt very strong. Maybe they'll have another chance in a future book.

Numerian wrote: About the deva, it was well designed except I don't get why the name 'deva', it overlaps with the old D&D/PF deva. Also the born ready ability. I named them Planar Deva (which got shortened once it left my hands) because I designed them off of the religious section >>Here<< and the images >>Here<<
I wanted that overlap across the various religious traditions and figured that Planar Deva was different enough of a name to not matter too much... Oh well. Thanks to our rising star Brian Liberge they work VERY well as a Paragon Path for 4th Ed's standard Deva.
In hindsight, Born Ready could have been done without. Its really fluff written as a mechanic. Since Deva just pop into existence fully formed rather than being born, then growing up, (and because we wrote this book with the intent that even 1st level adventurers could travel the planes) I wanted to make sure that a player wouldn't be born naked/helpless in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, I game with a bunch of dicks that would do exactly that. The Born Blessed racial feat is underpowered too, I'm afraid. If I could, I'd change it so that the masterwork quality would be applied to one of any of the type of item selected while the character uses it, not just a single item.
i.e. They choose lockpicks, anytime they pick up a set of lockpicks it becomes masterwork in their hands. If they put it down it reverts to normal and if they pick up a different set of picks those become masterwork.
Mikaze wrote: Really like the new races, and the approach to wings and multiple pairs of arms for the Deva is something I'm really considering adopting now. Gods bless you for that! I really agonized over making that race as balanced, but varied, as possible. That the Deva were the only not-positive thing Endzeitgeist reviewed in the whole book kinda sucked. So its nice to know someone else thinks they're cool.
C'mon Hugo! Give us some o' that sweet, sweet lovin'. How do I get one of those extremely limited prints?
Harrison wrote: All of you are horrible people... Took long enough for someone to finally say this...
Anime sells, so the look will depend on that. If they go in a different direction it will have to be extreme to the point of not looking like anything else on the market. As cool as a cell-shaded Borderlands style world would be, for example, I don't see that happening. Expect the game to resemble the current look of the rpg (which, incidentally, IS anime-esque). Otherwise it wouldn't be PF now would it?

Any creature that teams up with a rust monster can prove deadly. Bye bye plate mail after 2 strikes by a rust monster and the creature that teams up with it just basically got a +8 to its attack roll. :(
Rust Monster + Pugwampi = Pure Comedy. A perfect combo to strip a party of every useful piece of equipment they might have. I have them populating the territory surrounding a prison. Suddenly the Druid was the most potent party member and she didn't know what to do with all the sudden attention. It was great!

Maybe we should Kickstart a semi-private Midgard Wiki next? All the information that's available in released books, but access to archived board conversations and ideas with membership. A resource for current games and future projects. Not to get ahead of ourselves or anything...

Also in this request is alcohols. Everyone loves to have their character drink dwarven ale, elven wine, or gnomish mead, but I can never find the price. And what if such beverages gave some sort of benefit?

Expand the appraise skill when dealing with items?
Annnd... Drugs. Not just narcotics to addict PCs, medical too, aspirin, penicillin, simple drugs to end or reduce the time of effects like being dazed, fatigued, nauseated, etc.
I also second everything E.Lincoln said above.
Equipment for classes that don't get the love like others do. Like monk gear (those wooden shoes found in anime, prayer beads, Gi, special headbands and/or belts). Don't worry about 'Vow of Poverty' stuff, KQ did that on their blog. Witch gear (athames, cauldrons, pentacles/pentagrams (the first you wear, the second is a plate on your altar), altars, witches use staves and swords too, binding materials (hair, yarn, leather straps), cavalier gear (horse stuff, bits and pieces of their armor).
Expanded Equipment Traits would be nice too.

You should cry, as I once did. Then, once you have it out of your system, do again as I did and join a Project. Help us write that goodness. Like maybe an Arcane Collegium book...
ChristinaStiles wrote: Also might want to remove gear and feats, since those are in the Player's Guide to the Crossroads that's in editing. Ah HA!
If there will be a print+pdf bundle what will pre-ordering here get me? Just the pdf?

You have to check out The Inner Sea World Guide for that. But as for the four subdomains associated with them, here you go! Ah! Thank you.
