Kill the orc! Take the pie! Enjoy your spoils! LOL! Hubby ran this for me wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back when!

~strums a lute~ Why kill a being that might serve you or have useful information? Diplomacy is so much less messy.

I thought that for tonights entertainment we could trade lame/cheesy/just plain stupid gamer related pick up lines, I'll get us started with two of my favorites.

1) Hey Baby... you wanna try and battle my purple worm?
2) So sexy, what's the DC to get your pants off? ;)

~grimaces~ Ew! Drow purple worms! In your case, the DC is 75!

Behave you all and stop annoying everyone! ~starts to signs a lullaby to calm these fiends down~

Bump!!! Dump ba da bump!

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~BUMP~

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~After Donna rocks the house for about an hour (Perform Sing and Lute checks of 24 and 15), she comes and sits down near you all~ I hear that you are going to explore the ruins nearby. Could you use an extra hand? I have some meager abilities and I am very good at negotiating deals. Plus, having an additional weapon wielder might come in handy too. So what do you say?

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~Donna proceeds to tune her lute and clean it up some while eating her meal. However, she listens intently to the conversations going on around her and Donna's gets interested when she hears about some nearby ruins~ Interesting ~Donna whispers~

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~Donna walks back down after having gotten refreshed. She then goes to the bar and orders a drink and some food.~

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~Donna give a big grin at everyone's reaction, enjoying the crowds reaction~ Ok. One or two more songs, then I must get washed up. ~She then sings a few more tunes that she thinks that everyone would like (Perform Sing and Lute Rolls of 20 and 17)~

~Donna grimaces at Nevil's comments~ And on that note, I think I will go get cleaned up. Master Juddelo, would you like me to perform some of my music after I get cleaned up?
"It would be an honor and a pleasure, if you please," answers Juddelo with a smile.

~Donna smiles at Juddelo and then gives a bow~ Thank you kind sir. I am sorry that my talent is not greater, ~Donna then shrugs and grins~ but we do what we can with what we have. Let me go get cleaned up and refreshed, then I will do my best to give the patrons some pleasant music to dine by.

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~Donna looks around, trying to get a feel for the crowd (Sense motive check of 14), then after getting the feel for the crowd, she sets her pack out and strings up her lute while humming softly to her self. After that, she breaks into a song that is appropriate to the crowd. (Perform - Sing = 25 and Perform - Lute = 18) After her performance, she looks at Juddelo and grins~ Did I pass?

"Only dwarves would rather have ale than a healing draught when lying wounded on a battle field. If only you knew about all the normal and magical maladies that can afflict a belly wound, there's peritonitis and twisted bowel syndrome and ...sorry I'm doing it again".

~Donna grimaces at Nevil's comments~ And on that note, I think I will go get cleaned up. Master Juddelo, would you like me to perform some of my music after I get cleaned up?

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~Donna grins as she walk by you all on her way to get cleaned up~ Drink is good for you, But so is having fun and not getting too worried about life.

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~After having had a long trip to Brindenford, Donna is now ready for a drink and perhaps a meal. After wheedling out some information about the area from some of the guards, she decided to head to the Lost Shepherd Inn and check out the place. After pausing for a bit in front of the inn to check out the area and get a feel for the place, Donna opens the door and walks in. Donna gives a big smile to the halfling that greeted her~

Good day, my friend. I am a wanderer who has come to this place in search of some drink and perhaps some food. I am also a talented musician. If you are in need, perhaps I can provide some entertainment for the patrons.

Donna is a slight human female, standing at five foot three inches tall. She has her long blond hair tied in a pony tail and she is wearing traveling clothes that look in good shape. Her blue eyes lazily travel across the room, taking in the goings on and checking out who is there while being unobtrusive about the examination.

~winces~ Ouch! I am so sorry to hear that. Do not worry and take your time please. Your Mother is more important and we will all wait as long as is needed. I will put all of your family, especially your mother in my prayers.

Taldor (Female Human Bard 1)

~Donna sits in the corner, tuning her lute and working on writing a new song. There is an ink pen in a small pot of ink on the table right beside some parchment with some of the melody written down on it. Every so often, Donna would stop and write something on the parchment or crossing out some of the music.~

Donna's background is now finished. I welcome your comments, O Great GM!

Hey Boss! Would you like me to be from Brindenford? I was just wondering before I started my bio. Oh, I hope that things go better for you!

This will work better if none of the PCs are natives of Brindenford. This way, everybody gets to explore the mysteries of the town (as well of the dungeon) together. Everybody should be newly arrived in the town within the last day or two.

Couple comments here. First, it would be better to hold off on in-character intros until I can get a proper IC thread together. That way, everybody's on the same page. But, I appreciate the enthusiasm, Sharoth.

Second thing is, I really would prefer the IC narrative be written in third-person present tense.

So, "Donna walks into the tavern and looks around..."
NOT "Donna walked into the tavern" or "I walk into the tavern."

It's just me being a fussy DM, but that's my preference.

~chuckles~ Yes, O Master! To hear is to obey. ~thinks~ Well, I will go back to my initial plan on Donna's origin. Thanks for the feedback and I am glad that you had a day off. Take care of yourself!

Pardon the noob question, but why do you have skills shown at '0'? Are they trained, but no modifier or somesuch?
He has no ranks in the skill and has no modifier in the corresponding attribute, meaning when he uses that skill he has a modifier of +0.
I listed all the skills with the appropriate mods that I can use not just the ones I have ranks in, that way I don't have to reference the PF book to know what skills I can and can't use.

That is a good idea. Don't forget adding your ability modifier to whatever can be used untrained. It might make a difference.

I for one am glad that you are ok. The car can be replaced, no matter how annoying doing that is! Be safe and make sure that you do not have wiplash or anything like that!

Edit - Never mind! I just figured it out! Gahhh!!! I will miss that mass amount of skill points!

You still get 3x the skills that I get, lucky bard, try being a cleric apparently all we do is pray and have sub-standard combat practice.

~wistles innocently~ Well, us Bards need to keep up with EVERYTHING!!!
