Sorry I steal about 3 minutes a day to try and post. I have to read very quickly. I work 10 hours and have a ridiculous course load on top of it.

The Kobolds seem more scared than dangerous. Lounging on a cool day eating a snack is no crime and hurting no one. I would not like to hurt them until/if they become hostile.

Hex:
Misfortune: The witch can cause a creature within 30 feet to suffer grave misfortune for 1 round. Anytime the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result. A Will save negates this hex. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. This hex affects all rolls the target must make while it lasts. Yeah Im a melee fighter type lol so this is tough for me. Especially when I got one hit my first time out. It was very traumatizing lol.

I dont see any decent spells until 3rd lvl spells are available. I hate that I cant use magic missile. Thats my biggest pet peve

Can we just assume that Dom is actively keeping look out? I don't see anything about taking 10 on a perception check so if I can I will but otherwise my Perception is +7.
If no one objects I may squirrel away the Long Sword and a Shortbow/ Arrows. In case I decide to "train" with them and multi-class. No decision on that yet tho.

As the party sets off Dom continues to keep pace with Silva. Actual rest continues to elude me I'm afraid he says in response to Silva's question. I dream dark dreams... dreams of drowning in a black fog. Sometimes it's tentacles taking hold and dragging me into its fold. Others it's just me wandering in it, choking and struggling to move or breath. Dom visibly shudders and turns to look away from Silva his long black hair whipping in the wind.

As for Ronyo, he is a strange creature. Often he acts like a normal fox but then it's like he has almost human qualities. It's mostly in his eyes. It scares me to be honest. I could not make him go away if I tried. As far as his appearance, well... Dom again trails off unsure of how to continue.

I was totally gonna use it! My strength of 10 cannot be stopped! Lol. Seriously put it to good use. I was going to memorize Identify if we think we need it for the amulet. Cure light wounds as well to finish patching up my internal bleeding. I assume we will spend the night and head out to either destination in the AM.

My heart could benefit from the joy of new lands and the thrill of discovery. The forest is easiest to forage and get water in. While we have a good stock of supplies and horses to carry it on maybe it's best to use them where it will be hardest to supplement them. Dom suggests

Actually Sergei I think this has LONG since left RPing behind and it has become about arguing the death penalty. I have given a hundred reasons why Dom would vote hanging. We are arguing to argue at this point.

So the Sword Lords gave us a charter empowering us and charging us with the exploration and eradication of bandits and we are not claiming it for Brevoy? Okay. That's yet another debate I no wish to get bogged down in.

Letting them go is flat out absurd. So by this concept a man beating the hell out of his wife on the front lawn says "sorry officer, I didn't realize that it was illegal or wrong to pummel my wife. I won't do it again." Or the liquor store robber who shoots the cop who only survives because the paramedics get him to the hospital fast enough, says "I will never do it again Im broke and needed booze for my alcoholic wife. Lets not arrest them or punish them ever.

Just want to point out that we dont care about past indescretion. These guus tried to do murder and almost killed Dom. At the very least the leader should hang. Once word gets out people wil know that from this point on it will not be tolerated.

Okay I deleted my last post cuz i reread it and i sounded like an ass. This is a game and we should have fun. Sorry if anyone read it and thouht it was rude. I disagree with you Egan. I feel that honest people would not turn on us for killing criminals that prey on them. Have what you hold means that since we currently hold the trading post and Oleg can do nothing about it that we can take anything we want and its reasonably legal. Not to mention that the "Stolen Lands " are part of Brevoy. They have been taken by bandits from the River Kigdoms. They stole them from their rightful country.

It was just the e-mails. But that's neither here nor there. If he is out and with DM approval maybe I will go with ranger. I can "train" in the off time with you Andrej (weapons) and Anza (woodscraft). But I don't want to get ahead of myself either as I don't know if he is gone for sure.
I just realized that my second favored class (Half-Elf) is Ranger so picking cleric would be stupid...

Do we build a prison pit? waste time and resources

Do we guard them? waste of a PC as the NPCs cant / wont do it

We let them go? The results of that will make it hard for everyone AND may result in innocent deaths if there is a reprisal strike when we are not around to defend the homestead.

I'm actually a criminal justice major and believe in proper law and due process IRL too. But in this scenario we are to coin a phrase in "Indian country" and we have to what needs to be done.

Also I am playing the role. Dom could be on the cusp of a seriously dark path. Right now however he is convinced that this is not only the right course of action but the BEST course of action. It just happens to coincide with his plan for revenge on the big 'ol jerk who one shotted him lol
