Appearance:

Dohosa is small and slight for a Shoanti, with none of the stature or musculature that many people associate with that culture. His shaved head, richly decorated with traditional blue tattoos, and bright blue eyes are his most striking physical features, though they are sometimes hidden in the depths of the hooded grey cloak he wears, which is embroidered with the silver-blue spiral of Pharasma. Two daggers are visible beneath his cloak and a small crossbow hangs at his side. He often seems distracted with a faraway look in his eyes, but is generally personable and kind.

Background:

One of an increasingly large Shoanti population in Sandpoint, Dohosa is something of an outcast even within his own culture.

Born and raised as one of the Skoan-Quah, or Skull Clan, of the eastern Cinderlands Dohosa was marked from birth as one with great potential. Born under a constellation resembling the eiril rune, the Shoanti rune of duty, Dohosa was apprenticed from an early age to his tribe's wisemen. As the smallest and weakest child in his tribe, he was educated in the ways of magic and taught how to recognise and combat the undead culminating in Dohosa's induction into the faith of Pharasma during his traditional coming-of-age ceremony.

Dohosa soon learned all that he could from his teachers and their traditional methods, and with their blessing set out into the greater world to learn more about the nature of Pharasma. Particularly fascinated by fate and prophesy, he travelled Varisia. Sometimes travelling with caravans, sometimes alone, he eventually found himself heading westwards, arriving in Sandpoint.

Enjoying living in the small town and it's friendly community, Dohosa continued his religious and magical studies, occasionally wandering into the countryside outside of the town to meditate. A frequent visitor to the Rusty Dragon, Dohosa has begun to integrate into the town, despite his Skoan-Quah heritage setting him apart from many of the other Shoanti in town. Looked down on by the more martial Shoanti, and with nervousness by many others in town who know of his heritage and powers, Dohosa does his best to remain friendly and helpful.
