About Dogdog

Sharptooth Mad Dog Barbarian 3
Dogdog cannot rage until 4th level. Rage notes made in preparation

Appearance:
What the hell is wrong with that goblin? Does it have mange? It's kinda hard to tell the difference between it and that dog it's rough-housing with. They're both wearing the same scraps of leather, I think. Is the goblin playing tug-of-war with that chunk of rope? With it's teeth? Looks like the dog's helmet is made out of the skull of a bigger dog?. It matches that weird shield-thing on the goblin's arm. Is he... talking with it? Yeah, he's making the skull bark...wow. He's actually wearing a collar! He has a leash. Someone is keeping a goblin on a leash. Where the hell did this little freak come from? Is he...yeah...ew... he's licking his crotch...

Personality:
Dogdog was literally raised by goblin dogs. His mom was a goblin-dog keeper and raised her brood right along side the animals. Dogdog even thinks of himself as one of them. Even for a goblin he is an odious little cur. He likes following orders, playing fetch, hunting and sleeping. Don't ever come between him and a meal unless you like bleeding.

Background:

Dogdog is crazy. He was raised mostly by a goblin dog right alongside her litter. He wasn't even named. As he grew up, the Licktoad tribe just started calling him Dogdog because it was just about the most insulting thing they could come up with. Dogdog was so odious that he was as awful as a dog, twice.

Dogdog doesn't care though. He doesn't really understand the insult. It's just a name to him. He would have been content to live in the kennel for the rest of his life, but then his "mother" died and it broke his fragile little mind. He would't let anyone near her corpse. Even after it started to rot he just stayed there, guarding her disgusting body and fighting off the crows and rats who came to feed on her. Eventually, months later, he pulled her skull free from her body and made a macabre puppet out of it. He talks to it, and moves it's mouth to have it "talk" back. It says he's a good boy.

Now, the Licktoad tribe is basically trying to get rid of him, so they keep sending him on dangerous missions. Unfortunately, he keeps kept coming back, often without actually completing his task. Eventually the new kennel keeper just started treating him like another dog and training him right along side the animals. Dogdog took to it immediately. Now, he's leash trained. It's clear that whatever else is going on in his head, he likes being a dog.

Fast Movement (Ex) A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for her race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor, and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn. This bonus stacks with any other bonuses to the barbarian’s land speed.
