Dillan smiles admiring his now clean clothes, "Impressive. Definitely much easier than doing it manually." He says as he moves in to the room to admire the artwork as well.
Dillan stops at the door eyeing at the magic Tre' has cast, "Don't suppose you got some more of those?" He says as he gestures to his feet.
"Well with the constant weather here i'd imagine it stays pretty dirty." Dillan says as he walks through the door.
"Are these places normally this quiet?" The rogue asks as he moves up and knocks on the door.
Well i'm not going against the flow here...sounds good to me.
Ya...back to town, I believe its near rest time for our casters also.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Updated; also just fyi i'm thinking about going Shadow Dancer eventually...any thoughts on it?
Thanks.
Dillan looks at his companions after finding nothing else, "Perhaps we should go back for a rest." He rubs his belly, "A warm meal would be welcoming after all of this."
"Seems this fellow may have gotten what he deserved," The rogue remarks. Dillan than moves to search the area again, making sure nothing is hidden...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 +4= 32 vs hearing conversations, finding traps, concealed or secret objects
Sorry about the delay, lost power; happen to live in Moore, OK. Got everything back now though; definitely more fortunate than others.
The rogue looks up from the bones, "It was on fire?" He states more than asks then turns to Tre',"What problems do you think we will face?"
Dillan attempts to move into a flanking position if possible before attacking again...
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 to hit +2 with flanking= 21; 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 damage +1d6 ⇒ 2 if flanking= 8
"Ahhh!" The rogue quickly reacts bringing his blade up defensively then quickly turns its momentum to bear on the flaming bones...
Initiative 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 to hit;1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 damage
Dillan nods and moves up to examine the door...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 +4= 35 vs hearing conversations, finding traps, concealed or secret objects.
Dillan as well sticks with the group and cautiously enters with Barret.
Guessing Dillan couldn't make out anything either?
Dillan attempts to focus for a moment from the entry to way to make out what this shape could be...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14+4= 18 vs hearing conversations, finding traps, concealed or secret objects.
Wouldn't North be to the right of us?
Dillan looks away from Tre and his spectre and searches the room...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 +4= 18 vs hearing conversations, finding traps, concealed or secret objects.
Once satisfied there is nothing to be found he pulls a water skin from his pack, and uses the water to help wash away the dirt from the nameplates.
"So is he just to be a shield then?" The rogue asks pointing at Dariat.
Dillan moves to aid anyone of his companions, always trying for the right angle...(trying to flank as always).
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 to hit +2= 12 for flanking;1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 damage plus 1d6 ⇒ 3 for flanking
"Don't exhaust yourself!" Dillan calls out to Sorin, afraid that his continual use of such an ability will drain the man. Remaining in a flanking position the rogue strikes out again...
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 to hit +2 (Flanking)= 20;1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 for damage + 1d6 ⇒ 3 from flanking
Dillan attempts to get to a flanking position without putting himself in harms way. (No AoO's). Then puts his Shortsword back to work...
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 to hit;1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 damage
I didn't include the +2 to hit for flanking; didn't want to assume it was possible to achieve it.
If able to flank; additional damage: Sneak Attack 1d6 ⇒ 1
Initiative 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Sword drawn Dillan takes in the courage from his companions the rogue also jumps into the fray...
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 to hit; 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 damage
"I'm guessing they," The rogue gestures to the skeletons, "Will animate once we enter the room? Though I imagine this would be a good place to have some sort of trap." The rogue draws his sword, "So think we can tease them to us?"
The rogue pauses, "This seems odd." He gathers his wits quickly though, "Shall we have it lead us then?"
Initiative 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Assuming Protection from Evil is still up?
Bravery still lasting from the effects of the spell the rogue draws his sword and hopes to move to a tactical advantage if possible. Trying to flank if possible.
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8/10 if Flanking; 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 damage
Sneak Attack 1d6 ⇒ 6
The rogue stands upright, bravery in a fashion, "I feel great!" He turns and nods at Merian, "Whatever that is, it just kinda washes away the doubt." He turns to the north, "Shall we?" Then leads off ever alert...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16 +4= 20 vs Hidden, concealed, conversations, and traps
Initiative 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Still surprised with the dead moving the rogue jumps back drawing his blade...then looks for the opportunity to flank one of them without provoking attacks from the others.
If possible he will flank the one that Barret is attacking; as long as it's not provoking AoO's from the others.
Shortsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Crit confirm 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Sneak Attack if allowed flanking 1d6 ⇒ 5 additional damage
"I think they are all human," Dillan says looking at the others then continues about the lower area to make out the dimensions of the room and possible exits...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16 +4=20 vs hearing conversations, finding traps, concealed or secret objects
Once on the bottom Dillan removes a sunrod from his pack and lights it and begins to look about the area...

Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
The way down please :D
We will press on to the next part ma'am.
Seeing their path decided the rogue leads on in his skilled, albeit paranoid, fashion...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 +4=16 vs hearing conversations, finding traps, concealed or secret objects
Perception (Traps)1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19
"If it involves us moving," the rogue pauses, "I'm all for it!"
What is left on this floor? Do we really want to go back to town or just push on down to the next level?
Dillans' eyes move about the room then finally rest on Merian, "It's like it was coming from behind you."
"It was odd," The rogue looks about nervously, "As Barret said, it was chains, but not the chains Merian was playing with."
Do we still here the noise? Can a direction be determined?
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
"I hear it too." Dillan says as he moves closer to Barret.
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Dillan looks at Sorin, "So what should we do?" Looking back the skeletal remains, "I'm not feeling like going up and poking at it."
Dillan leads the way...ever cautious for the material...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
Dillan watches the assault on Tre', and almost laughs until the large fist impacts the elf's face. "Note to self," The rogue moves over looking at the pipes, "Possession is bad in all it's forms. Do you think the pipes or still cursed?"
Will 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Don't know if you are willing to give any side bonuses for plugging his ears with his fingers.
"Great." The rogue sighs as he places his finger tips in his ears to dull the sound, "Lets hope this works."
"How often does one really go out seeking the dead?" The rogue mutters to himself and follows the others back to the cells...
Here I thought we had explored all of this since it wasn't blacked out. :(
"I never learned to play an instrument." Dillan pauses, "Really wasn't much time for it."
"I say we stick together. If we have a clear way to destroy two of the spirits then it should be done."
Dillan walks into the room taking in the aroma of breakfast, "Smells wonderful!" He grabs up a bowl, spoon, and sits taking in a mouthful, "These truly are the best mornings! So was anything learned from the library last night?"
Dillan a killing machine? interesting thought indeed.
Good to know. :D
