Any chance you would consider a new subforum in Compatible Products from Other Publishers for things like Kickstarters (or other crowdfunding site projects) to be posted in? Maybe even something like an 'Announcements for Compatible Products from Other Publishers kind of thing?
Might be easier to track what's coming/planned/trying to be funded projects from 3PPs versus their available works.
Just a thought.
I've got the same problem with my arcane dungeon flip mat as this guy reported over here.
I've been reading the various threads on it and haven't had much luck with trying to undo the u-shape footprints on sections the map. It's pretty gnarly.
I got the order last week, but the AP seems to have hit something during the manufacturing portion. The inside pages look like they found something with a point, then squished against it enough to fold hard, then lay back flat before the cover was attached. So there's a noticeable fold on several pages and it comes to a raised bump through out. Can we work something out here?
I think this is a great mini! I love the pose. It looks much more intimidating than the other blue I have. It also looks more like a big, intelligent creature than some of the others dragon minis I have. A spellcaster or something worthy of the BBEG title, not just another monster to encounter.
Also, I wanted to thank you for explaining the decision behind this color dragon versus going with a green. I won't lie, I'm a little disappointed it wasn't green. That's been on my 'must have list' for some time now. Hope you guys can find a way to get one in much sooner, rather than later.
Got a promotional email today about Pathfinder Society Scenarios being released, because I'd purchased one before.
Does the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play (PFRPG) count as a Pathfinder Society Scenario then? If not, I'd love to know what scenario I bought and can't find.
Also an acceptable answer: the email was fired at me in a slightly random and wacky way.
I love that the guard has a lantern. I can't remember the last time I encountered or really ran a guard in a town that wasn't at night when they needed it the most. Nice touch.
The orc brute is badass. Good job!
Sweet job on the specter. I like how it's not a transparent full bodied baddie. You can tell it's humanoid, but no longer entirely so. It looks spectral and ghostly, instead of like a walking on two legs, transparent humanoid.
I'd love the transparent treatment though for future spectral baddies. :)
So my group is playing this AP and we're closing up The City of Seven Spears. We've got a ranger, sorcerer, life oracle, alchemist, cleric and a rogue/barbarian. We've had plenty of easier encounters.
Then we have the big boss battles. Nintendo hard stuff. Times when at least one or more of our melee fighters go into the negatives. After the encounter is done, we dig at the encounter with the GM and really believe that it's way off.
We're sitting right about where we should be based on what the AP says, most of the way through the city and midway to 10th level. Yet we come against something like the biggest bad in the Residential district and 2 outright deaths. 1 gone in a round and a second hit, the other completely one-shotted with around 20 points of damage to spare.
Having seen this pattern through out the whole module, we can't help but thinking that something went off the rails when it was being written. Does anyone else feel or think like this or are we just that far gone?
Trying to open this thread:
It takes me to the archives section. Tried clicking on the title and the most recent post links.
So, I've seen tons of shots of minis that were hand painted. Some excellent, some good and some not so good (SKR's example of stuff he did as a teen hit that spot ;p ).
So what would the realistic costs, in dollars, be to get started in painting minis? Basically, and market rates shifting by location, what would be the start up costs? I'm thinking of the absolute must-have items to start. Then the should-have items, before getting into the nice to have.
Hey Ross, Vic, PMG and crew,
I've noticed a few threads where I click to get to the most recent post (like replies and such in long threads) and find it just takes me to post number 1.
An example of it is this thread: http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayingGames/p/pathfinderRPG/dreamscarredP ress/v5748btpy8i42/discuss#172
There are a few others in the thread who noted the wonkiness.
Thought you may want to kick a server or something.
My wife and I are looking for people to start a group with in the SW Metro area of the Twin Cities. We're willing to host at our place or rotate to another. We'd like to play once a week, Sat/Sun.
Preferred PF, will play 3.5. I'd be GM for one homebrew campaign if we ran two, that'd be great so I could get a chance to play too.
That's what I'm looking for. Reaper's mini finder was unsuccessful finding a female great axe wielding mini. Hadn't even got into the other parts with it. Just lots of female wielding great swords and plenty of bikini-style armor, if they had armor. :(
My wife is playing a summer and created a quadruped eidolon. It's supposed to look like the lizard bird that Obi-Wan rides in Episode 3 when chasing down Grevious. Except no tail.
Anyone know if WotC released a mini in their SW line of that creature? I'm not worried if it has a rider or not on it or about the tail.
Got that out of the way.
So this has been a recent topic of interest for me and my wife, but has anyone found a good place or site to purchase good quality terrain pieces or buildings? One that might also be lower cost?
i was trying to mark a post for FAQ and it errored out on me.
it was james's post in http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/pathfinder/pathfinderR PG/paizo/disappointedWithChangeShapeInBeastiary
i tried to flag it as an error and that errored out too.
and of course now that ive left the thread and gone back, the errors have stopped.
AP #31, the first of the Kingmaker AP got an Ennie nod. I remember reading James's intro to it when I first got my copy. James was worried about how it would take off and be received by the players, fans and casual onlookers.
Well, I'd say that this puts that worry to rest in a lot of different ways.
Anyone else in the land of frozen wastes or hot, humid mosquito infested swampy lands? Preferrably someone in the Grand Forks region...
My 3.5/PF group has been getting smaller by attrition and we're looking for more.
