Hey all, I noticed I haven't received a weekly email in about 2 weeks. I did go through the confirmation (so not a fan of GDPR requirements lately!) and I also checked my profile and it's set to get all. So am I missing them or did I miss a step somewhere?

Here's my question for our valued 3PP folks here: will you continue with PF1 content or are you looking more towards a full switch to PF2? I don't need a PF1.5 (D&D3.875), but I'm not sure I'm sold yet on PF2 based on what I've seen so far. I understand creating content for SW, PF1, PF2 and 5E could start to become cost prohibitive quickly. I'm just checking the waters now, fully understanding they could be completely different around PF2 launch.

Just backed this one, would've been like #3 or 4 but my tablet didn't have the correct password handy. I really like what you're doing and how you guys set these up. The goal isn't a fortune so it's really easy to get it. And I have had a disappointment yet. Good luck mateys!

I couldn't even list out everything. Just too much. But we've got an entire full sized bookshelf filled with 3.x materials and a small handful of 4e. 4e just didn't work for us so we didn't go all in on it. We've got all of the PF hardcovers finally. We got behind a bit and finally rectified that. Every AP printed, including RotR #1, still in shrink warp with the player's guide in there. Probably 85% or more of the Campaign setting line. All of the Player's Companions and what they were before that. All the maps (flip and packs). One shelf will fill all of the PF 3PP hardcovers we've collected, including the shelfbusters from FGG (Slumbering Tsar, Rappan Athuk, Razor Coast). Plus overflow of others we've snagged over times (go go Kickstarters!). There's 2 shelves of 1e, 2e and my old red box original BECMI books. Sadly, I got rid of the actual boxes when I was kid so I could just bring all the books in a briefcase (it was a thing in my group, OK?) to games. I also lost the Rules Cylopedia to a minor basement flood as a kid. I miss that one and wouldn't mind a new copy. There's my West End Games d6 Star Wars books and more Vampire: The Masquerade than I care to think about. A few Shadowrun titles my wife added to the collection when we merged ours. I'd say we probably also have about half of the printed Dragon magazines. Could be more, or less, I never did the count on them. There's a much smaller number of Dungeon magazine too. I think that's it for books/magazine really. It's not as much as some, and more than others. But I know I can walk over to a shelf and pick up just about anything I want to read, explore or mine for something for a new campaign or story.

I'd absolutely be in favor of an NPCC2. I love using the original and since I know many of my players have or have access to the original, I tend to mix and match the art based on what I want for the story flavor and then find the stat block based on what I need for future encounters. There were plenty of unassuming looking characters in there that I had much more massive stats waiting for when the PCs got to them. Wasn't hard to do at the table and my notes either, just kept notes on which page the art I showed was and where the stat block I needed was at.

I don't know about race for Cisco, but I very much see him as a sorcerer focused on conjuration, since all the major teleport/dimension hopping spells are conjuration. Probably some divination too for the reading thoughts part. Felicity: human rogue, skill focuses on disable device, UMD; There's probably an archetype that fits better for her than straight up rogue. Diggle: half-orc Gunslinger/Brawler.

I could consider grabbing this one. Pawns aren't my thing, been a minis guy for too long. But seeing how these work with map packs, flip mats and minis was a great idea. I'd suggest doing that more often with all 4 products in future blogs. :)

If there was anything to read into my statements, it should be that, and that I'm frustrated that we don't have more opportunities to do so, even if several of those opportunities are ones that I've negated on my own by, say, deciding to do an AP about demons or about robot gods or whatever. What's stopping you from deciding to do this (Tian Xia) instead of what comes after the Runelords return, or whatever is on deck already for after that? Shouldn't it be nearing time for another 'risky/concept' AP after the likely smash/traditional AP the new Runelords AP would be?

Warrior and SF: Stealth fits a lot better. I'd rather toss in free save bonus feats than try and shoehorn monk into this. I think monk, even if you try and scrape a lot of serial number off would be too good.

Well, lemme go grab my copy of Players Manual off the shelf and take a guess at a few of these. Cleric: definitely would need to do a turn undead versus channeling energy blasting undead. They also had the no edged weapon restriction. So a very restricted weapon proficiency, down to just mace, club, war hammer and sling. Casting looks to me to be the same, anything on the list is fair game as long as you prep it each day. Don't see anything about swapping Cure spells out as needed. So there's another change up. I'd say they get Iron Will as a feat to mimic the saving throws. Fighter: this one, I swear requires the least added/removed to it to mimic the original flair. It pretty much used anything and everything. Maybe Iron Will like the cleric. Magic-User: this is the wizard. Required spellbooks that you keep secret and all! I'd suggest some kind of innate bonus to UMD checks and eliminating any kind of concentration for spell use. If someone interrupts you, you just lose it. Pretty harsh, but it's in keeping with the spirit of the original. Thief: oh you roguely rascal of squishiness. I know my original party spent a very large of resources keep ours alive until we all finally gave up on it. I'd give this one several bonuses to skills, I'd go a +2 to disable device, perception, climb, stealth and sleight of hand. This is on top of what a PF rogue would get for these. Backstab was a bonus to hit back then, and double damage with any weapon it can use. Which was all 'missile' (ranged) and one handed. I'll try and add more on the race-classes tomorrow.

I'll take the deep lurker or chuul. Mostly because it reminds me of a session where the party's druid was also the cook. And she cooked everything. Including chuul. She scored a nat 20 on the cooking check plus bonuses and ranks in cooking. It was apparently palatable for all. :)

Has there been any official word from Paizo about the binding issue I've heard about (and seen many CS thread on)? Does it seem to be just a bad batch during the print run or is it hitting every copy out there? I just got my copies the other day, and while I haven't had a chance to check them over yet, I'm concerned mine will have an issue too.

To add details like major writing credits and cover artist to the product description when new Paizo products are launched on the site? And then updating it when the final description/cover art is released? But like for all products? I've seen it on some, but not all.
