Here's my question for our valued 3PP folks here: will you continue with PF1 content or are you looking more towards a full switch to PF2? I don't need a PF1.5 (D&D3.875), but I'm not sure I'm sold yet on PF2 based on what I've seen so far. I understand creating content for SW, PF1, PF2 and 5E could start to become cost prohibitive quickly. I'm just checking the waters now, fully understanding they could be completely different around PF2 launch.

I'd absolutely be in favor of an NPCC2. I love using the original and since I know many of my players have or have access to the original, I tend to mix and match the art based on what I want for the story flavor and then find the stat block based on what I need for future encounters. There were plenty of unassuming looking characters in there that I had much more massive stats waiting for when the PCs got to them. Wasn't hard to do at the table and my notes either, just kept notes on which page the art I showed was and where the stat block I needed was at.

Lissa Guillet wrote: I've pushed an interim possible fix for the sessions logout issue while we figure out a better permanent solution. It has definitely logged everyone out BUT that should be the last time for awhile. Thanks for your patience on this one. It was not a solution I wanted to implement over the long weekend without being able to watch it extensively. Hey it worked! I was logged in today when I came here. Thanks Lissa, Dean and everyone involved. Also, seeing some speed improvements today, could be a result of Firefox's update.

I can check again tomorrow now that I know this was not a me thing or a Firefox thing, v56.X has had some issues for me, thought this might be one of them. I did have to log in again today. Yesterday I didn't make here, but I did have a browser cache clearing to deal with some work issues. So maybe that one is still buried out there somewhere?

To add details like major writing credits and cover artist to the product description when new Paizo products are launched on the site? And then updating it when the final description/cover art is released? But like for all products? I've seen it on some, but not all.

I've never been a big poster here and it's gotten way less over the years. I found myself feeling not welcome and generally like I wasn't even playing the same game, since apparently the style I tend to play is much more relaxed than many others here. There are plenty of forums I tend to not go into because of the exact kind of posting behavior others have described. I mostly just read a few things and move on. I've never felt super welcome on the forums and just less so over the years.

Erik Mona wrote: WizKids did not sell enough of the goblin or undead sets to continue with this format, though I do think it's probably the most appropriate for a dungeon dressing set. It's something I will continue to discuss with them. I know we're all pleased with how well the dungeon dressing singles have been selling. Would a format similar to the Dragon Evolution or the Iconic Heroes be more viable? Like a set of dungeon pieces, ancient crypts, treasure hoards work? Just a thought on it.

Even though the content has not 100% sold me yet, this cover logo mix up thing has me wanting the book for sheer amusement. I don't see egg on your collective faces (except Jason, but he still needs a required Gauntlet face punch, so what's a little egg?) but just a big dopey grin of amusement. Because that's what you do. :)

My wife found a way to make this guy more awesome shortly after we got him. We'd also picked up a pair of We Be Goblins just to round out our minis buying excursion. So, shortly after we'd unboxed Big Green here, we had Poog of Zargonel standing next to him. My wife grabbed Poog, and fitted him into Green's claw. Poog locked into place and now lives permanently clutched, about to be eaten.

I'm in the 'missing the maps' camp. My wife and I really enjoyed getting that little extra with my comic. As for the homage covers, they really did not do it for me. I would prefer they did not return so I could get something a little more, I guess, traditional or more related to the story inside.

No participation necessary, though I did pick up a Rite Publishing product in the spirit of supporting the store! Grand Cities Games was always awesome when it came to Free RPG Day. My wife and I used to have stuff set aside for us so we didn't have to be there at door opening! We'd make our way over and Rob would pull out the goods for us! We made sure to buy something else that day too.

I'm in a similar position here. I love the direction this set is going and I completely understand where the pricing is coming from, but I can't really swing the whole deal at one time this go round. So I might grab a brick or so and then pick the rest up in bits and pieces. :)

I'm so glad that these stone giants are more than just large sized, block grey giants with a club stuck in midswing. I've got plenty of stone giants stuck in that pose. And none actually throwing a dang stone. Now, there's one rock thrower, a spear wielder and a magic using one?! Are you guys crazy?? YOU CAN'T ROCK THE STATUS QUO!! Spoiler: Please keep doing so!

Would you be able to take the entire set, put them on a desk or a table (the one in the library room perhaps?) arrange them in a big battle royale and then take some action pictures? Including the black dragon. Can't forget that one either. :) It's amazing to see these guys in the perfect preview image, but there's just something about seeing a big, huge set of minis all laid.

If you and your group allow house rules or homebrews, here's a feat mine created some time ago: It works for my group. Some can argue it as a feat tax, but I don't think of it that way. It's more representing the time it takes to learn how to best finesse the weapon you wield to maximize damage based on speed and skill. Kinda like how fighters can go down the Weapon Spec/Great weapon Spec and so on to become better with their chosen weapons.

Count me in the group that had never heard of this before. I've been playing on and off since the mid80's. None of my groups ever used this as a general point for play. Most of us would figure out a weapon and armor of some kind. Then we'd work to get a ring or amulet. Someone might get a cloak if they needed to boost a save. But I can't remember any of us working towards all 6. Different play, I guess. |
