PCs won't be making "Sin Checks" at any point along the campaign, so the number of "points" you hand out is totally arbitrary and doesn't impact any rules at all.

No Sin Checks?

I was hoping you'd invented a mechanic for it.

I was looking forwards to saying,

'Make a save vs Lust DC 25)!', 'You failed!', 'Sorry. You find the half orc irresistable...'

'Okay that's the 25th pie you've eaten. Save vs Gluttony or explode!'

There is really a Church of Tiamat? Damn!)

Yep! Tiamat is a Babylonian goddess.

Don't think she is a five headed dragon with shapeshifting abilities though

[moved thread to D&D forum]

Sorry for posting in wrong thread. I will beat myself with a stick later.

And one more comment: Your PrC is in no way related to the RPG superstar contest, so this thread will probably be moved as soon as a mod spots it.

Oops. Did not mean it to be in in superstar thread. Sorry!

Just meant to add to General Discussion. I'd delete it if I could...

And Thrall of Malcanthet adds weapon proficiences (Scourge and Whip), which is why I adapted it to bows. And Greek mythology is what I had in mind, as the myths are fun to read.

Avatar Of Desire
This a prestige class I am working on that is based on the Thrall of Malcanthet that appears in Dragon 353.
James Jacobs was the author of that article (and I did check with him before posting this).

The intent is to make a prestige class for servants of a good aligned (unnamed) Goddess of Love who opposes Malcanthet. The class is still being tweaked, so the following is a work in progress. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

Due to the fact that I am ripping ideas from the Thrall of Malcanthet prestige class, I won't be repeating everying that appeared in that issue, otherwise you have no reason to buy the magazine:)

Note: Amongst the servants of the deity will be succubi that have been redeemed from their dark ways.

Avatar of Desire Prestige Class

Requirements:
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Gender: Female
Skills: As Thrall of Malcanthet
Feats: Persuasive, Spell Focus(Enchantment)

Class Features
Weapon and Armour Proficiency: Long Bow & Short bow
Note: Bows seem appropriate for a love goddess.

Spells per day: Same as Thrall of Malcanthet

Sacred Beauty(Su): Same as the Profane Beauty class feature of the Thrall of Malcanthet.

Telepathic Gaze(Ex): Same as the class feature of the Thrall of Malcanthet.

Stunning Glance(Su):Once per day, the Avatar can choose a single opponent within 30' of them and give them a suggestive wink. If they fail a Will save (DC 10+Avatar levels+CHA bonus) they are stunned for 1d4 rounds.
Note: This replaced the Betrayal class ability of the Thrall of Malcanthet.

Distraction(Ex): Beginning at 3rd level the character can flash a smile that distracts an opponent within 30' who can see them. At 6th level they can do this twice per day and at 9th level three times per day.
If the character fails a Will save (DC 10+Avatar levels+CHA bonus) then he is considered Flat Footed for the next round.
Note: This replaced the Thrall of Malcanthet's Sneak attack.

Charming Voice(Su): Same as the class feature of the Thrall of Malcanthet

Chaste Beauty: Same as Sinners beauty class feature of the Thrall of Malcanthet

Energising Kiss(Su): As Draining Kiss is rather an evil ability, Energising Kiss seemed more approriate.
The subject gains +1 to Attacks, Saves, Skill checks and Ability checks for 1 hour. They also gain 5 temporary Hit Points. Although the ability may be used three times per day, multiple uses on the same subject do not stack.

Reflect Enchantment: Same as the class feature of the Thrall of Malcanthet

Persuasive Voice(Su): Dominate Monster sounds more evil, so I thought that Suggestion (Mass) might be more appropriate, but affecting only creatures of the same type. This ability may be used once per day.

Angelic Form(Su):
Same ability increases as Succubus Form (the deity is served by 'good succubi')
Damage Reduction 10/Cold Iron or Evil
Immunity to Poison and Electricity (Angels are Immune to Acid, Cold and Petrification, so may use two of those immunities instead)
Resist Acid 10, Cold 10, Fire 10(these will obviously change if the immunities do)
Spell Resistance 18
While in Angelic From, Energising Kiss can be used at will, but no more than once per subject.
Note: Not sure if this is too powerful as an ability. It would be if the effects stacked with multiple uses, but they don't.

So, post your comments and suggestions please.
